Official Earning Report : Month 1

So, recently I had decided to change my earning report to monthly basis. Well, below will be a total of how much I made online and with which service. I am happy with what I have earned although it is not a big number. The money are all in PayPal and some still waiting for payout. I am going to use to get my self a hosting and move my blogs to Wordpress. I have already successfully earned to money I need to pay for web hosting. Very happy. However, I don’t have much time on doing this thing as my school exam is around the corner. Sigh, I hate exams, haha. Official Earning Report : Week 2

It’s the time again. I skipped blogging a day, yesterday I was quite busy and went to the cinema. Well, another week has gone, and seriously, I want to tell you that my earning is not that good. I can hardly find paid review to write about and no earning on AdSense. Cool things is there’s new source of my online income. Let’s get straight into the point. As below, all I mention is in total value, I haven’t touch any of the money yet. So little, I can’t buy anything also. Previous earning : $16.80 from Smorty. (No opportunity for a few weeks already, I received opportunities via email, but when I signed in that time, it had been taken). RM100.43 ($29.19) from Advertlets. Wow, it’s 12.21am right now. Anyway, this is my First Official Earning Report. The previous one, is UNofficial. I decided to make a official one to share with you guys how much I have earned. So far I have not make much money online, because I am a starter, newbie to this “make money online” thing. =] For your information, this earning report is based on my 2 blogs, so the earning is not basically on this blog. If you ask me do I play Halo? I say no. I don’t have a Xbox 360 nor the PlayStation 3 and I am not a hardcore gamer. I only play simple and fun games, more interest to Final Fantasy, Command and Conquer and games that is top just like Halo. Now, all the new video games’ graphic are so nice and so real, and their very cool trailer makes me want to buy PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 home to play the game. Xbox owner sure know about the game Halo, I played Halo 2 before on my friends’ Xbox, but without Live. I have saw video of people playing it on Xbox Live and it looks so cool. If I successfully make money online, I will get myself a video game console, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3? I don’t know, I hope I have the money to buy both. iPod classic (Semi) Hands On

Last weekend, I went to the Apple Store to check out if the new iPod s in store already or not, and yes it is here. iPod classic and iPod nano is here but then iPod touch is not here yet, I believe that it will be arriving in store by the end of this month, can’t wait to get my hand on it. Well, I tested the iPod classic on the booth but not the Nano because there was someone using it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvDp97Jmxfk So the design becomes more classy, because of the matte coating. Screen is still same size as the old 5G iPod. The best part is the new UI (User Interface), now with Cover Flow and thumbnails. 1 thing is bad is the UI is kinda laggy or slow, but according to my brother, after updating the firmware, the problem will be gone. iPod classic is something from music lover, because of its big capacity feature, one can have over 10000 of songs. I do not recommend watching video on a small screen, but for short video clip or music video will be fine. 80

I does not make a lot from the Internet most probably because I am still a newbie to this make money online field. I want to talk about my experience on buying stuff online. Er, for real, I don’t really Pownce a lot. In fact, I Twitter more than Powncing. Pownce have been in the Internet for a few month since Kevin launches the service. Until now it’s still in Beta service, means that Pownce is still in invitation based. Pownce is a great way to send stuff to people you know. Add friends, then send them big files, invite them to upcoming events, share great links, and whip off a note to anyone, everyone, or just a few people. Last time, I was mistaken that Pownce is the new Twitter. Actually it’s not. You probably already know about the iPod touch that is going to release at the end of the month. It’s an iPhone without the Phone and Camera function. Super big 3.5″ multitouch screen. It’s not the normal touch screen like on your Nintendo DS or the Sony DSC T-200. It’s a special screen you can control with your thumb not the stylus. It’s thin, only 6mm. It has Wifi for light Internet surfing on a full HTML Safari web browser. You can watch your favourite TV show on the wide iPod screen. Doesn’t all the cool feature poisoned you to get one? Sent my PC to repair

I am forced to send my PC to repair. If it is not the BIOS corrupted, I wouldn’t sent it to repair, I can just reformat the hard disk, because my Windows XP is corrupted too. I got no idea how to fix the BIOS thing. Sometimes can boot, sometimes cannot. My rig is : Pentium 4 3.0 HT ASRock MiniATX P4S61 Palit Nvidia 7600GS AGP Western Digital 40GB IDE (Primary) Western Digital 160GB IDE (Secondary) Kingston DDR 512MB LG SuperMulti Drive Brandless CD-ROM The specs looks good to me, BUT I have very little ram and my PC casing don’t have fan except for the processor fan. Many Malaysian make money bloggers wrote about this too if you do read their blogs. Basically, what this means is Malaysian PayPal user can withdraw MONEY now. In case you don’t know, PayPal did not allow Malaysian to withdraw money out. But previously, there’s another method for Malaysian to withdraw money with a VMI card (some ATM card). Applying for the card takes time. I don’t have a VMI card though. Well, it’s actually transferring money from your Paypal account to you credit card. I believe many of you do own a credit card, Mastercard, Visa or whatever. So, this new feature from PayPal allows you to withdraw money straight to your credit card and then either you withdraw it out from the bank or just spend it with your card. If you read Gizmodo, you do notice that their editors do not like the new firmware updates for iPhone which added iTunes Music Store and RE-lock unlocked iPhone. Check out the above comparison chart that I took from Gizmodo. I just know that a hacked iPhone is so cool, can do a lot of things and the new firmware just suck. Only good to iTunes Music Store user. I don’t use iTunes Music Store, most probably because it doesn’t has service in Malaysia. Ok, I don’t own an iPhone though. If you came across your mind to get an iPhone, I recommend you not to upgrade your firmware or just like me sit at home and wait for 2nd Generation iPhone which I hope will be announced at MacWorld 2008. Dell just releases a new 20 inch widescreen LCD monitor with build-in webcam and it supports screen resolution up to 1680×1050, 2ms response speed and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Well, the best part of the monitor is the build-in 2 megapixel webcam which allow you to make video call easier or record your own video and post it to Youtube. I got to say that it is a good buy as you do not need to buy a separate webcam for whatever reason you want it. However it doesn’t include a mic, so you still need to buy yourself a headset or microphone for video call. Price is sweet, selling at $289. =) I hope there will be a 22inch with built-in webcam as my current monitor is 22″ from Dell, if there is a 22inch with built-in webcam, I might get it for dual monitor setup. I just saw iPhone in the mall just now. It shouldn’t be here because Apple has not announced the iPhone for Asia region but somehow someone manage to bring it in. If I am not wrong, it’s an unlock version and it’s 8GB. Too bad it’s not on display, just saw the price. Unable to touch it. As for the price, it sucks. RM3999, which is US$1,174. The shop must be crazy. Singapore also crazy, but it’s still cheaper, selling at US$727. I just hope Apple faster announced the iPhone in Asia region as Asia has half of the population of the world and when it is announce soon, hope it will be 2nd generation with 3G and more. So in the mean time waiting for iPhone, let’s play with the iPod touch first. I just received an email from CG Computers - Apple Premium Reseller here in Penang, Malaysia. Got excited because that in the email says that the iPod touch will be arriving in their store the day after tomorrow at 6pm. After iPhone that was released at 6pm, now CG Computers also do the same thing. iPod touch in store at 6pm. Previously, new iMac, iPod classic and nano also 6pm. That’s a cool thing, but dad is quite busy tomorrow, wonder he can drop me off at the mall there to get my hands on the iPod touch. =) Well, the price is super expensive. 16GB for RM1739 (510 USD) 8GB for RM1339 (393USD) So, I am not going buy here in Malaysia, I am getting it in Singapore as it will be cheaper and of course I will getting the 16GB. 16GB is rather small in capacity but 8GB is smaller. “I’m gonna touch you baby.” Stay tune as I will bring you video of the hands on of the new iPod touch at Apple Center. I just ordered the free Open Solaris Starter Kit from Sun website. It’s a free open source OS by Sun. Since it’s free, I just ordered it. My iPod touch is coming

iPod touch hands on at Switch Centre, Gurney Plaza, Penang. What does that mean? It means that my iPod touch is coming. It’s so popular here in Malaysia and Singapore. Last week, it was sold out in every Apple store in Penang and Singapore. When my brother called and told me the iPod touch in Singapore has been out of stock, I was like WTF. iShop, Cineleisure, Singapore. He went to iShop (Largest Apple shop in Asia) last week to place an order for 3 iPod touch, 1 for me, 1 for him, 1 for my cousin. Luckily, free gift for iPod touch at iShop still have. Brother paid the deposit and iShop gave him the free gift (Audio Technica headphones) right away and now he is waiting for iShop to call him. I am going to Singapore tomorrow and will be back 4 days later. I just very hope that the iPod touch new stock will arrive before I get home. Or else, I have to wait another one month. Ahh!!! I am now downloading album artworks for my music in iTunes to prepare for the iPod touch. HAHA! Yo


What I think about the Sony Cybershot T200

A month ago, my brother bought the Sony Cybershot T200. I went to Singapore last week to find him and I have a chance to get my hands on the camera. I kinda like that camera mainly because of it’s gorgeous large screen. It’s not just a normal big screen but it’s a touch screen. That’s the best part. Touch, now everything is about touch, iPhone, iPod touch, Microsoft Surface, Nintendo DS, HTC and blablabla. It’s simple to operate, user-friendly menu. No button, just the shuttle button, power on and playback on top of the camera. When it’s connect to a HDTV, it’s output is in high definition format. If a photo is taken under widescreen format, it will look good on a widescreen monitor or TV, though you can always crop a photo. But if you are lazy, you can choose the 16:9 format on the camera. Say congratulation to me! Just kidding. I got my iPod touch already, it was last week when I got it in Singapore. Love it a lot and currently I still has the plastic on. Waiting for my Best Skin Ever full iPod touch skin to be arrive at my doorstep. Cheap Brandless Card Reader

I went shopping last week and bought myself a cheap card reader at Gadget Zone, 1stop. It’s only RM20 ($6). It can read Memory Stick (Pro), SD, MMC, XD and Compact Flash. I tried it and it’s working good but it doesn’t read my 4GB memory stick. I take to ask the guy and found out that it can’t read fake memory stick. Yeah, my 4GB is fake and I use it for my PSP. Wonder why my PSP can read it but the card reader can’t. It read my camera SD card nicely, I don’t have a XD or Compact Flash to try on. I assume it does work also. 1 more thing, the card reader is brandless. There isn’t any logo on the packaging itself or on the card reader. Definitely came from China. Since I has 2 camera, I don’t have to plug in 2 different cable to connect my camera anymore. I can just take out the SD card and put it into the card reader for viewing and copying photos.
