CCs for life 2007-10-29 08:56:43 Time to talk about credit cards! They are a very good idea in theory, but if you are like me you have been burned by them. I first started off on the net compare credit cards like everyone does, I came across one company (wont say the name). Got one of their cards sent to me, done all the insurance on it.
Everything was going fine, only used it for things I needed their and then, then one day I wasn’t paid from work, so I paid of the minimum on the card nothing to bad, then basically I lost my job.
Now I had protection which would freeze my balance allowing me time to actually get a new job and start repaying, but no the company in question denied ever setting that up. I asked for copies of the phone calls made, they said no for “security reasons”…
In the end after legal action was almost taken (by myself) I decided to look into a balance transfer credit cards. Thankfully my bank offered me one with cash back credit cards to boot.

The Last Day 2007-11-02 03:57:02 Today is my last day of working at my current job, I know that a large number of people at work read this site and this means that they will be able to keep up with my day to day life after leaving but I would like to say it has been a pleasure working with you all.

BB guns and air rifles have always been fun to play with, things like the Red Rider are to die for. Since I played with real guns in Prague I’ve wanted one more and more, but after looking at this site and noticing its pay day I know what I’m going to get.

I have updated the site and removed 2 of the 3 adverts, the one on top shall be moved soon to the side, I have also sorted out the picture a few posts down so it doesn't overlap the edges, due to the theme only working properly on certain resolutions I am thinking of changing it (Work monitor running at a higher one then my home pc means that things that work on this pc don't work on my pc).

(yet again) Derby County’s future isnt looking to good. I have started to get back into football after the shocking defeat’s in the Euro 2008 tourny (England should have done better). I stumbled apon Aston Villa FC the other day, a good looking site for a very good team, now I cant name them all off by heart but a few members of the family support them and watching them play is a good day out.

After finally waking up and doing some work, I decided to update the site with the latest wordpress (wooo) I have been trying out some widgets but Im not liking them at the moment. Have added a sort of “counter” but it tracks how many people are looking at the site (different to the how many are subscribed to my RSS).
It was touch and go for about 20 minutes as I was under the impression I had deleted the config file meaning I would have lost my SQL password, which wouldnt have been fun at all. But the update went smoothly, only lost the “blog roll” but lets face it no one would ever add me to their blog roll.
People are so Evil.
Anyway its around 1:30, only 2:30 hours to go until home time, going over the other 1/2s tonight for food! wooo, hi tiff! I wont be able to stay out all night tiff sorry.
