HEAT RETENTIVE DINNER PLATES 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Why had I not called the heat retentive plates dinner plates?: Because for me they are breakfast plates, lunch plates hi tec steak plates and of course dinner plates. I use them for everything, from eggs to steak, etc.Why do I call them dinnerplates now?:Because it is the most obvious use for heat retentive plates and I now realize that people search the internet for dinner plates, If you search for plates, you get license plates, tectonic plates, steel plates etc.Voila!how could I ignore something that obvious?... for plates that you zap one minute in the micro and stayhot 1/2 hour see:http://www.heatstoragedish.comhttp://www.heatretentiveplates.comLink to WIPOJuan
Will hi tec plates come from China too? 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I am sending info to China
now and getting good response though slow since when I'm working they are sleeping and viceversa, I'm sure sooner or later I will find my invention in the market (With or without my license) Everybody tells me it is risky. I could not care less. When the product starts coming from China or Mexico (I am negotiating with a couple of Mexican companies too) things will change. In the mean time I will continue teaching about heat retentive plates.By the way, the USPTO and WIPO have just published my aplication. the links are on http://www.heatstoragedish.com and http://www.heatretentiveplates.com or go directly: http://doiop.com/uspto and http://doiop.com/wipo
HI TEC DINNER PLATES 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I will call them high tech dinner plates. Nobody searches for heat retentive plates.http://doiop.com/wipoThe next link will tell you all you want to know and more about "high tech dinner plates"http://doiop.com/srgoogle
Zap the steak plate and serve 1970-01-01 00:59:59 ZAP THE PLATE AND SERVE!... (I DO NOT THINK I CAN WRITE SIMPLER INSTRUCTIONS ) I could be perhaps more specific:"Zap the hi-tec steak plate and serve
"OR"Zap the heat retentive plate and serve"WHAT ABOUT JUST:"Zap and serve"???The info I want to convey is that you pre-heat these new type of plates for just one minute in a microwave oven and they store thermal energy and release it slow and at a controlled rate to keep your food hot at the table. (Remember that you can handle the plates by the rim which does not get hot. Just the place where the food is gets hot).http://www.heatstoragedish.comhttp://www.heatretentiveplates.comhttp://doiop.com/srgoogleBelieve me, eating in hot plates at home is a real luxury no longer reserved for expensive restaurants. Preheat one minute, serve and enjoy.Juan
PLATES FOR YOUR GOOD COOKING 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I will assume your cooking is good, if that is not the case, it does not make any difference on which plate you serve it, but... if your cooking is good why serve it on a plate that is going to contribute to get your fine cooking cold in a few minutes? and your answer will be:"I do not want to get in the trouble of pre-heating my oven, then pre-heating my plates several minutes, then burning my hands with them, and all this trouble just to see the plates cool down faster than I pre-heated them".Have you heard of "heat retentive plates"? "plates for good cooking" (How did that sound as a slogan?). They are high tech platesPreheat them one minute in a microwave oven, they stay hot (still hot after) for 1/2 hour, and you can handle them by the rim -which remains cool- with your bare hands.so... what's cooking?www.heatretentiveplates.comJuan

STEAK PLATES, DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Instructions on how to use the "steak plates". They are "Heat retentive plates" in a preferred embodiment in oval shape)):1) Pre-heat the heat retentive plate in a microwave oven for just one minute.2)Take out the plate with your bare hands by the rim (It remains at room temperature) and serve your steak.3)???... What? There is no number 3?:...NONo, the plate will start releasing the heat with a delay action(It reaches maximum temperature typically 5 to 8 minutes after it is taken out of the microwave oven), and will release heat at a controlled rate according to the Stefan-Boltzmann law for radiation of black bodies, to maintain your steak hot without over cooking it. http://www.heatstoragedish.comhttp://www.heatretentiveplates.comJuan
HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES IN SAUDI ARABIA 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I have just posted something about heat retentive plates in Saudi Arabia and I intend to keep informing all the world about this invention.I have no doubt whatsoever that the plates will be produced and sold worldwide. The reactions I'm getting in my informal marketing survey are excellent (some people say : Preheat one minute and stay hot 1/2 hour?No way, others say: "Wow that's cool, I mean hot"I have seen some interest lately, but I won't tell (I guess I'm superstitious even though I have always believed and said I'm not... After all, being superstitious is bad luck).I still prefer licensing to an established company with good distribution channels to accelerate the process, and also because I'm still recovering . (This does not interfere with telemarketing).I (And many other people) believe that this is an excellent novel, useful product with a huge market and a very very long life. And I'm very tenacious so... we'll see.jjrb230@netscape.net

Elles restent chauds (encore chaud ensuite) pendant 30 minutes. Voila!Bon apetit(Bueno, por ahi va)The French will love the heat retentive plates too! STEAK PLATES are HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES. 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Ceramic "Steak plates" are usually just oval plates. They are preheated in the oven and they do not stay hot for too long.Heat retentive plates on the other hand are preheated for just one minute in a microwave oven and stay hot for 1/2 hour. They can be handled by the rim (which remains cool) with your bare hands.But... heat retentive plates can be used as easily for eggs over easy in the morning or for just any type of hot food. Their use is so simple that they will be used regularly on a daily basis at home (You do dot use steak plates every day do you?)I believe the future of steak plates is "heat retentive plates" specially designed for that purpose, which of course will be manufactured in oval form and as beautiful as any plate in the market. The only difference from an "all purpose heat retentive plate" (Which of course can be used for steaks) will probably be a heavier susceptor and a slightly thicker plate for more thermal mass. The general public will decide. Of course I know
COOKING AND PLATES 1970-01-01 00:59:59 There are many websites about cooking and many about plates but only one about COOKING AND PLATES or what does COOKING have to do with PLATES?. Up to the advent of heat retentive plates not much, a plate was just a flat disk of ceramic on which you served your food (Even though they might be beautiful). It made no practical difference whatsoever. In fine restaurants they warm up your plate but it does not last for long. At Steak restaurants if they want to keep your steak warm, they use skillets.Pretty soon there will be heat retentive plates in the market and you will realize that:COOKING AND PLATES ARE DIRECTLY RELATED, It is a shame that your best cooking gets cold in such a short time as has been happening up until now. It was a paradigm that there was no practical solution to the problem. Now I have a plate (I have been testing the prototypes for about two years) that:You preheat for just one minute, stays hot (still hot) after 1/2 hour, you can handle by the rim which remains cool,
MICROWAVEABLE HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I THINK IT IS IMPORTANT TO POINT OUT that there are many types of heat storage devices, but microwaveable heat storage devices like the one that is incorporated in the design of the microwaveable heat retentive plates , based on the Stefan-Boltzmann law, with a new composition of material, and a new working principle, there is only one and it is patent pending. Best invention since sliced bread? 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Best invention since sliced bread?... well not even I believe it, even though inventors (product developers) tend to fall in love with their gadget and tend to think that it is the most important thing in human history. But I'll tell you something: in 6,000 B.C. approx. pottery was already decorated and practical, and 4,000 years before that pottery appeared in China and Japan, since then they have been making it more and more beautiful, however a plate has always been just a plate (NOT ANYMORE) and it serves only to hold your food (I have to give credit to baby dishes that you fill with hot water every time tou use them -the baby uses it- to keep the food warm). A plate that keeps your food hot does not exist, you can pre heat a normal plate but it will not stay hot for long, the handling is clumpsy, since the entire plate gets hot (including the rim).Juan J. Ramirezjjrb230@msn.comUpdate 10/17/2006... Yes actually I do believe it is the best invention on the table. I enjoy my protot
Not boring plate, high tech, simple design 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Now I did it, it sounds real boring
but...the invention is not a plate, since the same principle can be applied to coffee mugs, bowls, tortilla warmers, pizza delivery, even heating systems, etc. Besides for the purpose of a patent application, I have to describe what the gadget is so the search engines find it, this is what it is is:It is a heat storage device (gadget, widget, applied physics sounds a lot better)it is microwaveableit can be integrated to the design
or embodied as a plate, cup, gravy boat, etc.Its operation principle is founded on the stefan-boltzmann and wein's lawsIt has a new composition of material (That I developed)It stores heat very fast (Microwaves converted to heat)It absorbs energy very efficientlyIt releases heat at a controlled rate.Works using black body radiation theoryHow would you call it in two words ?I advice you that if your first word starts with an "b" and the secondwith an "s"I will feel free to delete your comment.I WILL CALL IT "HIGH TECH PLAT Read more:high tech

Do you get the picture?...they can produce very beautiful and low cost plates in China...But not my plate (my HotSmart heat storage plate which will be patent protected in China and al the PCT COUNTRIES I and my licensee decide) they will need my licence or my licensee's permission (a sublicense agreement maybe?). I can not explain it clearer unless I use little apples (te lo explico con manzanitas?... dicen en Mexico). www.HeatStorageDish.comjjrb230@sbcglobal.net http://doiop.com/uspto http://doiop.com/wipo
MY AD CAMPAIGNS FOR HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I have initiated 2 very modest campaigns for HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES in Google and Yahoo.People do not look for heat retentive plates because they don't know that they exist, so I have started to teach them. The reactions that I get in forums and groups of discussion are:"It is not possible to preheat one plate for one minute and that stays hot for 30 minutes"or"wow, where did you get them"In Mexico a friend of mine who goes often to steak restaurants told me: "when will your product hit the stores? I have already "sold " thousands to restaurant owners.I'm absolutely sure the heat retentive plates and heat retentive mugs (I keep forgetting the mugs, tortilla warmers, pizza delivery etc.) will be used all over the world as soon as they know they exist and as soon as I find a manufacturer that is willing to modify any obsolete or no longer used mold, to start producing my product.I wonder what is the Idle equipment doing? Did it go to China too?Update: http://doiop.com/uspto
NOT FOUND AT POPSCI FI 1970-01-01 00:59:59 THESE PLATES WILL NOT BE FOUND AT POPULAR SCIENCE I am thinking about adding a MP3 player insise and sending the info to a well known magazine. or claim they came from Mars and they are Mutant Ninja plates. In the mean time you can find info at http://www.heatstoragedish.com and http://www.heatretentiveplates.com There are now lots of info about high tech plates, heat retentive plates, hi tec steak plates, coffee mugs etc.http://doiop.com/srgoogleThese are really high tech plates The patent application in wipo, Link to WIPO
TIMING, FIDEL CASTRO, LOVEMAKING AND MARKETING 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Timing is everything in life, from crossing the street, to history to marketing among other things.( don't worry, Iwon't discuss crossing the street) in history I know many examples -I like history- I'll give you one :I believe It was good timing to be with Fidel Castro when he was fighting againts the corrupt regime of Fulgencio Batista, but certainly not now. I cannot Imagine living in a country with Castro as eternal "president"In marketing I've read about many inventions that were too advanced for its time:The telephone was rejected at first, the submarine, and many other valuable inventions. In the case of my simple invention: A microwaveable heat storage device (basically a plate, a coffee mug, tortilla warmer, gravy boat, etc.) the timing could not be better. With microwave ovens costing as low as $30 and more than 95% of households in the USA owning a microwave oven, plus all the great developing economies (China, India, Russia, etc.) the market is enormous. Why hasn't be Read more:FIDEL

Market size and market share for heat retentive plates 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Q: what is the potential market size for heat retentive plates?A: at least 4 units /household that has a microwave oven (in the USA about 400 MILLION UNITS), worldwide 6 to 10 times that quantity? 2,400 to 4,000 million units? plus replacements, different styles, colors etc and the coffee mugs?Q: And what market share?A: I'll give you an example, Gatorade(TM) that has to compete with Coke(TM), Pepsi(TM), plus all the other brands, plus iced tea, kool Aid (TM), delicious natural drinks etc. has sales of billions of dollars. What market share could you expect of a product with no competition worldwide? People don't even know that such a product exists.Q: Will People buy it?A: This is the type of product that will sell by "word of mouth marketing". My job now is to make people aware that the product exists, and in parallel find a licensee that understands the size of this opportunity.
how to make heat retentive plates 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I have just published instructions on how to make heat retentive plates. The patent is going to be published in a couple months. Go to:http://www.heatretentiveplates.com then "how to make" section. The instructions are intended for people who might be interested in making a few for family and friends. The industrial process of course is a totally different thing.See also: Link to patent applicationJuan
Chemin des colombettes (WIPO) 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Yesterday I sent my amended claims and comments to the International Office of WIPO (World intellectual property Organization) which is located in Switzerland on a street named "Chemin des colombettes" ("road of the little doves" or "camino de las palomitas" in Spanish). I imagine it must have been a lovely place before the city invaded the little colombettes. Maybe it still is. Just a thought that comes to my mind every time I see the address or receive mail from them.JuanLink to patent application in WIPO in Geneve and to the colombettes
My photo on HOTSMART I'm the inventor of the heat retentive plates 1970-01-01 00:59:59 My photo. I was reluctant but I am going to paste it on my profile. I'm convinced that a blog without a photo, doesn't seem like a real person is writing it.I am the inventor of the heat retentive plates. The ones that you preheat one minute and stay HOT 1/2 hour. and the rim remains cool for easy handling.I am at my home office (july of 2006, I have to call my examiner at the USPTO, the patent office before the end of the month).jjrb230@netscape.net
Karl Marx and HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES 1970-01-01 00:59:59 MANUFACTURERS OF ALL COUNTRIES UNITE!Karl Marx wouldn't have said that but after all... This is my blogManufacturers of all countries:If you want to get a license (maybe the only one) to manufacture HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES or COFFEE MUGS (plus an entire line of heat retentive tableware), call my Friend and agent Ramiro Fierro (ramlrala@yahoo.com) . You don't even have to be in the Tableware Industry, you could farm out the only three components in China or India or somewhere else, and do final assembly in Mexico or USA or whatever you wish (Adhesives and robots can be used ), no problem with tolerances there is only one dimension that you need to control and the tolerance can be so wide that it is practically impossible to get it wrong. No moving parts. There is NO COMPETITION believe it or not. Do not let your share-holders find out that you missed this opportunity. I will maintain this blog and keep teaching what heat retentive plates are till the cows come home.I dare you to type :
Z1M (ZAP ONE MINUTE) PLATE 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Z1M Plate, it sounds like a new mother board name or a satellite name and definitely a strange name for a plate but it will serve to remind people that all you have to do is to zap the plate one minute in the microwave and it will keep your food hot (Safe handling by the rim which does not get hot).Somebody suggested (An engineer) that the heat retentive plates are not microwave safe because... what happens if somebody preheats them for 5 or more minutes? my answer to that is :your car is not safe because what happens if somebody drives it at 120MPH?or an Iron is not safe because what happens if somebody leaves the Iron on a shirt for 5 minutes? (Do we need asbestos shirts?)we would need to ban the cars , the irons, the knives (What happens if somebody stabs you ?).Anyway, the plates will be manufactured with a safety factor, nothing will happen if you preheat them for a slightly higher perion of time. very often I preheat them for 1:15 and I am testing one that will withstand 2 minut
NOTICE OF ALLOWANCE FOR PATENT 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Last week I finally received my notice of allowance for my heat retentive plates (It is actually a patent for a "Integrated Microwaveable Heat Storage Device"), which means, I just have to pay my issuance and publication fees ($700 and $300) and I will get my patent deed. The patent will be published in the official gazette of the USPTO. Now the real marketing for my invention starts. Some companies have already shown interest, other are probably having their Engineers working on some way to engineer around my design. My bet is (As any inventor's): They won't be able to do it without infringing my patent. One company is even making prototypes but they have not signed a license agreement with me. I told them to take their time (Time is working in my favor). This will be no longer a "patent pending", but a patented invention, the luxury of eating in hot plates is now available to every household in the world that has a microwave oven."ZAP AND SERVE" (Just "zap" in the microwave for on
