Here are a couple of links that list the blog submission sites: The 'blog submission' sites elephant listRSSTop55 - Best Blog Directory And RSS Submission SitesSo far after submitting 7 blogs to 4 or more submission sites each, there has been no immediate stats jump, but the reaction will be monitored and more submissions will be made as necessary. Super Bowl Spam 1970-01-01 00:59:59 As we all make the decision to either ignore the Super
Bowl or give in to the hype, the SaskatoonScanner.com team has refrained from making an exclusive "Super Bowl
Blog". A sports blogs has been considered but it will have to wait until some real football is played this summer. As we all know, the CFL is a far better sport than the NFL could ever hope for, but when it come to media coverage and hype, the Super Bowl is pretty big. From last night's snow storm in the host city of Detroit, to the drunk media personnel rousing it up with all kinds of celebrities that have no clue who is even playing in the game on Sunday, it is really something. Being in Saskatoon, you would think that the TV coverage would be minimal at best but it seems that half of the channels on our TV have something to do with today's official keyword: "Super Bowl". There are far more important things to pay attention to today and it shows with the results of actual numbers on Google News. There are at least 5 big
Google Images: "Cartoon" , Not Funny 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Disappointingly, when typing in the common word "cartoon" on Google
's Image search, you might not get what you would want. That is unless you are searching for recent news stories about Denmark or terrorism or Al Quada or the Taliban or Iran or Muslims. There are actually very few actual cartoons on that first search page. It just looks like a bunch of violent protests. Message to Google: Clean up your search engine before it gets spammed into the pit of the internet!Unless everyone suddenly starts posting real cartoons under the search word "cartoon", then we might be witnessing the changing of the meanings of many common English language words. Is the English language under attack now?New definition of the word "cartoon"= pictures of violent protests. Wasn't a cartoon supposed to be a funny drawing or animation? What is this world coming to anyhoo? Let this be a warning to Google, do not use Saskatoon's name in vain! Our 'toons are sacred! This is not funny. You are making everyo Read more:Images

More on the "Million Dollar Homepage" 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Good thing about this site is that it has certainly raised the value of Internet sites around the world. This guy raised over a million dollars in five months! Some of the ads are quite unique but some others are very sad and useless. It could take five months just to see every ad, so if the goal was to glue us to the screen for a bit longer, it has worked. Still, no indication of how long these ads are going to stay up. Maybe it says so somewhere in that mess... Read more:Dollar

Million Dollar Homepage 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Here is something big for the Internet advertiser industry:MillionDollarHomepage
.comThis might be a good site if it doesn't fade into the "seen that already" category. It is just a blip on the Internet and a sad example of how desperate people are getting to force advertisers to switch off the TV and turn on the Internet. Hopefully, the "Sports Entertainment Industry" (NBA, MLB, NHL) will soon learn the harsh lessons that the Music Industry had to endure with the rise of the Internet. This is just a matter of time. People who get too greedy always pay a high price in the end for their successes. How many blogs can you have? 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Wow this is fun. I have created so many blogs now I'm making myself sick. This one in particular is of great interest to me since I had made it as my first blog, then deleted it. Left it for months. Searched for it, found it, and recreated it. And here it is. Totally boring but my typing speed has been vastly increased since I began my GD/NMP course this past October, so watch out!. I will decide later what to use this blog for, if this post even works. I never realized you could have two blogs on the same blogger, whatever that means. If you find the "Art of Search" to be as entertaining as I do, type in "Saskatoon Snow" and see if you can find anything that has to do with our snow storm here in Saskatoon that dumped 7.5mm according to Environment Canada, 6 inches according to Saskatoon's NTR Radio, 25cm according to CBC, and about 10cm according to me, however, my camera had been recently smashed due to something which I would rather not discuss here, so, no evidence = no snow=me up
Web Advertising Research 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Researching on the Internet is bound to pay off eventually. At least that is my hope. I have recently signed up for Google's AdSense program for the purpose of trying the ads out on my blog sites. So far, MSN blogs seem to be the most searchable and updated blogs on Google's blog search, strangely enough. Google blogs are easier to edit and have better ad support, however. There is still a lot to learn about blogs but I think I am getting a more clearer picture of what is going on here. There are definately many more services I plan to research but for now, I will stick with Google and MSN, the "big players." I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Google will pay me to get people to download the Firefox browser with Google Toolbar. So if you haven't tried Firefox yet, you may do so from here or my site and you will be helping to keep the live scanner feed going on my site, which by the way still costs me a bundle to keep it up. BTW, Firefox is still, truely the fastest browser ava Read more:Advertising

Advertising Campaigns 1970-01-01 00:59:59 The most recent discovery of the way some ads behave in relation to others has baffled me. Google Adsense seems to be fairly consistant with the exception of "earnings per impression" rising significantly on the blogspot.com domain. That is a good thing because that is the name of this game, blog. So, the more blogs you write, with Google Ads on them, the more money you can make. At this rate, if I don't get anymore hits than I am getting right now, then I have to make 500 blogs to make ends meet.... ok, on to the next blog...but first a word from our sponsor, Read more:Advertising

YouTube.com Nears The Top Of The Internet! 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I just checked Alexa's rankings for YouTube
.com today and was amazed to see how high they have climbed. I had to switch from Google Video today due to some "processing" difficulties. I went to YouTube.com and noticed that their upload limits are way higher, then I started watching some of the videos and I got hooked! They have a very good system on YouTube. I may not go back to Google Video now. Here is the channel that I made on YouTube:YouTube.comAlexa has YouTube ranked at number 9 today and it has been rising for months. No leveling off in sight. In fact YouTube may finally put television out of business! I bet they pass Google.com and then set new standards for Internet
viewership, not to mention fix the ridiculous advertising/marketing gap between TV & IT. I made $3 today from about 1000 page impressions, I'm actually happy with that number but it is still disproportionate. Imagine if those fringe TV channels only made a dollar a day, how many viewers do they get and how do the
YouTube.com Nears The Top Of The Internet! :UPDATE... 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Amazing! After saskatoonscanner broke this story on Sunday, it has gone worldwide and YouTube
.com is back up and running after a five hour crash. According to Google News, the first source of this story came from the University of Kansas, I am writing an email now to the writer to find out her source, just for fun...http://www.kansan.com/stories/2006/aug/14/youtube/Just a note: the real story behind the story is the fact that YouTube.com is now more visited than CNN.com...I'm still addicted to YouTube.com, there are so many marginally decent videos that I am convinced that I can make a better video. It is the greatest Internet
Entertainment yet, the public has finally replaced the CRTC! Now the world can live in peace. Praise the Internet once again!Jared Mysko

Site Statistics Surge 1970-01-01 00:59:59 A special thanks goes out to smalldeadanimals.com for posting our big lightning photo from this past Wednesday. Our visitor numbers have increased once again with lots of new people coming from there. With another severe thunderstorm watch issued for Saskatoon, today could be the most visited day ever as Saturday's are almost always the highest traffic day of the week. For some strange reason our ad revenue has not increase at all. Our ads paid much better during the federal election so it looks like things still need much improvement. Good thing is, the content of this site continues to grow. Official visitor numbers may be posted later as several statistics counters are giving very different results. Read more:Statistics

Website Stats - New Direction For The News Media 1970-01-01 00:59:59 The most popular propaganda networks seem to be losing some numbers all at the same time. CNN, BBC, and CBC are all on the downswing while saskatoonscanner.com continues to grow. (even google's numbers have peaked according to alexa.com.Our numbers are still very low compared to the big boys but we are making some very major plans for the next few months. July has been historically the biggest month by far for saskatoonscanner.com due to storm chasing season. By the way, Friday is being watched closely for an outbreak of severe weather across the Canadian prairies. By November we hope to have another server and an extra cpu. Cleaning up the Internet 2007-07-02 02:18:00 Just for the Hell of it, I decided to go over to my enemy's web-site to pretty much twist her brain to see what she would do. BLOCKED IN CHINA ! 2007-06-10 23:46:00 I have just found out that BOTH of my web-sites are blocked in China. SaskatoonScanner.comand SomeThingAll.comI wonder where else I am being censored? I would love to know why, but at least now I know. Even the porn kings (google) are open to the Chinese public. What is so bad about my web-site? Yahoo! used to be my favorite web-site and I still find it very useful today. SaskatooScanner.com is quickly covering more and more countries as the number of visitors goes up during the storm season. I am still very new to being a professional web-site builder so this is a good thing that I have found out for sure that the sites are blocked. Now I can work on getting un-blocked. All I have to do is find out where, why, and what I have to do to fix the problem. Oh ya, thanks to the site that helped

Web-Site Promotion 2007-05-14 19:46:00 The top story on Google News at this hour (6:45pm SST) is a big promotion for the named sites in the article. Spam and just generally toilet talk.... 2007-05-01 18:03:00 Ok, I am getting tired of deleting emails and wanted to post some of the worst offenders which is what I have done on my Yahoo 360 blog. I suggest Internet users all switch over to Yahoo! for awhile as the rest of the Internet is about to implode I believe. Oh and by the way, in case you have been following the story of saskatoonscanner.com, lately I have been mobile and haven't come home for a few days, if not weeks. That being said, I have called in the Saskatoon Health Inspector to the house as well as bylaw inspectors, and Saskatoon City Yards will be over to check the sewer lines while hopefully we are given compensation for having to go through this type of treatment by "Elite Property Management". I may call the Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services later after I get a closer look a
Depressed? 2007-04-19 16:23:00 I had to make a blog about a tough day at work today. I had to deal with a customer who had just lost a sister to cancer and was very upset, especially about the fact that I was asking for money at such a terrible time in her life. She said she was losing all of her family to cancer at a young age and she said she was next and that the money didn't matter anymore to her. I told her she was right and that family is the most important thing in life. I told her to check out my web-site as it may give some kind of inspiration or at least take her mind off money problems. Saskatchewan is a long way from New York and I told her to visit sometime or at least see it on the Internet. I personally have lost family to cancer and in fact it has torn my entire family apart.
