Unconventional war? How we really need to see this war! 2007-07-01 21:22:00 An Unconventional War
July 1st, 2007
Many people directly involved in this war have said that we are up against an unconventional enemy. Furthermore, they say that our enemy is fighting this unconventional war unconventionally. And yet, we continue to fight this war as soldiers and with “honor”… as if there is supposed to be some sort of civility in war. The last I checked, war was war because it was war. I’ve also heard the saying that there are no “rules” in love and war. And if there are rules in war… our enemy doesn’t seem to want to follow them and we are losing because of it. We used to know what that was about… but wait a second… I’ve heard this story somewhere before.
Oh ya… now I remember… it was in history class…
Remember the revolutionary war? If my memory serves me right, the British wanted to fight that war with civility and with rules. They fought shoulder to shoulder in rows because for a great many years, that’s the w Read more:really need
Iran is not backing down... 2007-06-30 14:27:00 SaturdayJune 30th, 2007
Today, Iran dismissed the threat of new UN sanctions for punishment over it’s controversial nuclear program. Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said "The Iranian nation will pursue its right and the disturbances will have no effect," he went to say "Iran's foreign policy has always been offensive. Unfortunately at certain times there was a defensive policy, which was a mistake,”
The UN Security Council has already imposed two sets of sanctions against Iran after it failed to suspend uranium enrichment, the process that can be used to make an atomic bomb.
The United States and it’s allies, suspects that Iran's nuclear program is a cover for a push to develop the bomb but Iran continues to say that it is for civilian purposes only. Amidst threats of further sanctions and possible military action, Ahmadinejad brushed off the threats saying: "They cannot hurt us, not that they don't want to but because they are incapable of doing so as they are in a di

In Light of the London Bombing
June 29, 2007
In light of the London Bombing, I think we would all do good to remember that we are still vulnerable to attack. Furthermore, we should remember that the enemy attacks symbols of American dominance or during symbolic times.
We are coming up on the Fourth of July next week and people will be gathering in mass to celebrate the birthday of this wonderful nation. And although the Terror Threat still remains at Elevated, the government is urging Americans to be vigilant about suspicious activity in light of the London bombings. The fact is, a terrorist or enemy really wouldn’t care about when they attack, they simple want an easier target. So keep your head straight this next week and look out for one another.
The London bombing is only a reminder to us. It’s just a thought to you right now. But this war with terrorism is far from over and we would all do well to remember that. Before 9/11, no one could have imagined t
Immigration Bill - we win this one 46-53 2007-06-28 11:04:00 A small victory in a huge battle - we win this one 46-53 June 28, 2007 The immigration reform bill that has been such a hot topic in America for many weeks, (and survived a cloture vote on Tuesday as well as a host of amendments) failed to get enough votes on this final cloture vote today. Now, passage of the legislation seems unlikely.
The second cloture vote failed to get the 60 votes necessary to end debate. The final vote was 46-53
For weeks it was unclear whether the bill would survive. The latest polls on the bill had a vast majority of the American people against the bill. But in the end, opponents of the measure from both sides of the political spectrum gained enough support to derail the legislation.
Phone calls and emails flooded the offices of Senators for weeks. Some polls showed over 80% disapproval for the bill. “What part of ‘no’ don’t we understand?,” asked Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), But Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), one of the “Back Room Bill B
Tough ol' Man - Hoorah! 2007-06-27 12:46:00
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. —
Bill Barnes, a 72 year old man from the Grand Rapids area was scratching off a losing lottery ticket inside a gas station when he felt a hand slip into his front-left pants pocket, where he had $300 in cash.
"I guess he thought I was an easy mark," Barnes told The Grand Rapids Press for a story Tuesday.
Jesse Daniel Rae, the 27-year-old Newaygo County man accused of trying to pick Barnes' pocket, was arraigned Monday in Rockford District Court on one count of unarmed robbery, a 15-year felony.
But before he got to court, he got to fight. Barnes immediately grabbed Rae’s wrist with his left hand and started throwing punches with his right, landing six or seven blows before a store manager intervened. Barnes beat him bloody. "There was blood everywhere," said another manager on duty, Abby Ostrom, 25. "I guess I acted on instinct," Barnes said.
Good instincts Barnes. Barnes served in the Marines, and was a regional runner-up in Golden Gloves competition Read more:Tough

Obama - Not someone to vote for. 2007-06-27 11:21:00 Obama is not our man-
I have a couple of friends who really seem to be behind Obama in 08. It intrigued me. So I decided to really dig deep and try to learn more about the man. I have to say however that what I found didn’t make me anything but sure that I wasn’t going to vote for him. Additionally, I have made it a point to tell others just some of the reasons why he is not the man America needs.
The first red flag that stands out in my mind is the fact that he almost seems to be in bed with Hillary Clinton. In fact, I’ve seen print and heard rumors of a possible Clinton/Obama ticket for 08. And we can’t count the ways on how the anti-American Clinton isn’t right for us.
The most recent of events that solidifies the fact that Obama isn’t our man is the fact that he continually votes in favor of this amnesty bill. Tuesday (June 25th, 2007) he voted in favor of cloture to quicken the process to pass it. This bill is so bad for America and here he is helping to make it ha Read more:Obama

Chavez Preparing for War with the US? 2007-06-25 18:34:00
Monday June 25th, 2007
The Associated Press reported Sunday that President Hugo Chavez
urged soldiers on to prepare for a guerrilla-style war against the United States. Chaves said that Washington is using psychological and economic warfare as part of an unconventional campaign aimed at derailing his government.
A democratically elected president wearing military style olive green fatigues and a red beret spoke in front of hundreds of soldiers standing next to military vehicles plastered with banners reading “Fatherland, Socialism, or Death! We will triumph!”
During his speech, Chavez said "We must continue developing the resistance war, that's the anti- imperialist weapon. We must think and prepare for the resistance war everyday," and continued to warn that American soldiers could invade Venezuela to seize control of the South American nation's immense oil reserves.
"It's not just armed warfare," said Chavez, "I'm also referring to psychological warfare, media warfare, p
Jesse Jackson arrested for not observing the law. 2007-06-24 21:19:00 Jesse Jackson
Arrested…
June 24, 2007
Jesse Jackson
was arrested
Saturday while protesting outside of a local gun shop in South Chicago.
The charge was one count of criminal trespass. When asked, Jackson refused to move away from the entrance to Chuck's Gun Shop in Riverdale. For the last several weeks, Jackson has been protesting with others in the community after a 16 year old honor student was shot on a city bus.
The police have said that the shooting was gang-related and that the teen was not the intended target. However, Jackson says that because the shop is so close to Chicago that it provides gangs to easier access to guns.
If you look at the preceding carefully and take into consideration the content, you can see that Jackson is either simply ignorant of the current laws set forth in America on firearms, or he’s just causing trouble for a small shop owner for no reason.
The fact is, to buy a firearm from a legitimate dealer Read more:Jesse
An American Civil War is about to waged on the 1st Amendment. 2007-06-21 23:00:00 Tuesday - June 21st - 2007

War is about to waged on the 1st Amendment
.
Freedom of speech is something that we hold dear in this wonderful country. In fact, it’s given to us by the first amendment. Obviously, our forefathers thought it was pretty important to make sure it was in our Constitution. But today we are witnessing an attack on the American people never thought possible even still today. And yet… barely anyone can see what’s about to happen.
June 21, 2007, the Center for American Progress, an extreme left wing organization, released a report explaining the “imbalance” on talk radio. To no surprise, this comes merely days after the famous words from Trent Lott “Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem.” Well it appears that someone has decided to step up to the plate.
The Center for American Progress’s report titled “The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio” outlines the differences bet

We just thought you should know the bill name changed… so we are giving you the information as well as our two cents.
The first bill, which went by the name – S1348 – and drew overwhelming criticism from just about every side (except the Back Room Bill Boys) received its new name. And once again, this bill has been put together in the backrooms of the Senate.
The new bill now goes by S1639. And once again, Kennedy, McCain and Arlen Specter bring out what seems to be the same bill as before with a few amendments added on to it.
It is expected to be read into the Senate Calendar June 20th and possibly be debated and voted on by the end of the week. That seems pretty quick for such and important bill. This schedule hardly allows lawmakers time for consideration and deliberation. What happened to the process of -- Read more:Amnesty

Man Fired After Saving a Life 2007-06-19 10:56:00 Jacksonville FL – 6/18/07
Man gets fired after saving a woman's life.
When a neighbor screamed she'd been shot, the 24-year-old Colin Bruley grabbed his shotgun, ran out and found the victim and began treating her right leg.
The victim, Tonnetta Lee, survived the shooting and her sister praised Bruley's actions. But his employers, the same people who own the Arlington complex where Bruley lives, reacted much differently. They fired him.
Bruley, a leasing agent at the Oaks at Mill Creek, an apartment complex in Jacksonville said he lost his job after being told that brandishing the weapon was a workplace violation, as was failing to notify supervisors after the incident occurred. He'd worked at the Monument Road complex since December and for the owner, Village Green Cos., since 2005.
Bruley said he was acting as a citizen, not an employee, and shouldn't have been punished for trying to protect himself and others. His shotgun was never fired.

Man Gets Death - Mom Sues - We Pay... A little vent session! 2007-07-03 09:41:00 An American Warning
Vent Session
July 3, 2007
The mother of a US man whose 2006 execution took 86 minutes and involved sticking needles into him 19 times has sued the prison team which oversaw the execution for civil rights violations. Irma Clark (mother) filed suit in district court, alleging Joseph Clark (her son) was exposed to "excessive suffering" violating the US constitution when he was put to death on May 2, 2006.
Joseph Clark, who had been sentenced to death for a 1984 murder had long been an intravenous drug user making it difficult to carry out the execution by lethal injection.
The filing said it took the execution team 25 minutes on their first attempt to place shunts in Clark's arms to inject the three drugs used in the execution, because of heavy scar tissue on his arms from drug use.
After Clark was finally pronounced dead, 86 minutes after the process began; an autopsy showed 19 needle puncture wounds from the process.

AN AMERICAN WARNING - Iran and Venezuela are in it together! 2007-07-02 17:01:00 An American Warninghttp://www.AnAmericanWarning.com
July 2, 2007
Yesterday, Venezuela
's Hugo Chavez and Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, launched construction of a joint petrochemical plant further strengthening an "axis of unity" between two anti-American, oil-rich nations.
"The two countries united will defeat the imperialism of North America," Chavez told a news conference during an official visit to the Islamic Republic, which the United States has labeled part of an "axis of evil". "When I come to Iran, Washington gets upset," he said.
Chavez, who wants to forge an alliance of leftist states to counter U.S. policies, arrived in Tehran on Saturday after visiting Russia and Belarus.
It seems to be turning into another Axis and Allies type of situation, especially considering the reports on Monday claiming that Iranian forces helped plan one of the most sophisticated militant assaults of the Iraq war—a January raid in which gunmen posed as an American security team and launched an at Read more:together
