If you have not yet heard, TechEd 2008 will be held in during the first weeks of June. This year there are two separate conferences- one for Developers (from 3-6 June) , and one for IT Professionals the following week (from 10-13 June). This year we will have an Embedded Windows track with several sessions from the XP Embedded product team, specifically: Developer Conference Breakout Sessions

I am rather busy these days preparing our holiday. Our helpers will go to their hometown starting Oct 10th till 17th to celebrate Idul Fitri (Moslem's Holiday). We usually take this chance to have a long holiday out of town. Last year we went to Jakarta, and this year we plan to go to 2 different places.Our vacation will begin on Oct 11th to a Safari Trip for one day to see animals. We will stay a night at a hotel near Puncak. Puncak is a place between Bandung and Jakarta, this a beautiful hill is 2 hours by car from Bandung. Our kids are so excited because they never go to Taman Safari Indonesia (Indonesian Safari Park). In this 35 hectare park, animals from all continents roam freely. We also can see rare species like the anoa, white tigers, Giraffes, rhinos, lama, etc. The most exciting attraction for me is a baby animal photo session! Wait until I upload our pictures with baby Orang Utan, and baby tigers! I also want to ride an elephant to fulfill my wish!At Oct 12nd is the first
The game that everyone has been waiting for is just a few days away, with almost 2 million copies pre-ordered, Halo 3 has created the biggest buzz for a game to date. Almost all Halo fans are counting down 'till September 25th, the day the game is supposed to hit shelves in 3 different editions, Normal, Limited, and Legendary Edition. Although many will be camping out to the get the game at exactly 12AM, some avid players report they have already got their hands on the game. Though it has been said a few have already been caught, and handed a ban until 9999. With this said, its obvious everyone is very excited, I am not the biggest halo fan but I was glad I pre-ordered... I'll see everyone September 25th, but until then I will be playing the Call Of Duty 4 Beta :P.

Back to work today. Have been on holiday in Spain for a week. A lovely relaxing break but I am always taking note of pets or animals around me. Lots of people keep dogs as pets in Spain and from what I can tell many of our four legged friends seem to enjoy life in the sunshine. It must be great to be a dog in the great outdoors. Living a life in warm sunshine, yapping at distant canine pals sitting on various rooftops around you and lazily chasing the odd scowling cat. Although I guess they both can have it tough when the weather gets too hot. Now I know that the Spanish have a bad reputation when it comes to animal keeping, and I guess things can always be improved, but they are getting there. There seems to be lots of Pet shops and Grooming parlours springing up and that can't be a bad thing. Most of the dogs seem well looked after and better behaved than ours although I do think that the Spanish need to learn how to use poop scoops. Cats on the other hand often look rather
