I want to be a mom someday. I really feel that I was born to be a mom. I see my old friends who already have kids and I can’t help but wish I had one of my own. I just love kids, especially cute babies. They’re just so adorable and cuddly, and I just [...]
Americans, caught up in the daily struggles of their own lives would be astonished to discover the degree and amount of news coverage America receives in the press of other nations and they would be even more astonished to see the depth of interest in us from ordinary individuals in other countries.
As far as I am concerned, the most critical component of achieving wellness is wanting it. But wanting something to me means that I will do anything possible to achieve it. And what that means is that I have been willing to change my lifestyle and certain behavioral patterns.
When I talk with people who remain sick and are making no progress, I always feel like asking, "What are you doing

OK this track is a little on the cheese side…but its well done, even though I don’t think I’ll probably ever play it. Its Stop in the Name of Love vs. Don’t you Want Me. Don’t You Want Me is a huge tune, I’m just not so sure how well Stop In the Name of [...]
It’s been a while we had not got chance to listen to the musical gems by the musical maestro A R Rahman. Ada came as a surprise to me and with the bid to remix songs as a competition this was surely going to be a power packed album. The initial TV promos are also worth while and the black background with white text and ample photos give you the overall feel of the movie. The inlays covers are de
Over my 9 months of blogging and my continued evolution into a blogger, I have sampled many sites. With that said, there are few that I like and even fewer that I would back. ActiveRain has by far been my favorite social network site and the one that I frequent the most. With that said, I have 2 other places that I live in regularly also.
The main one that I live in has been Hubpages and I have to
Is there a way to get more by wanting less? Is there a way to stumble upon some great revelation that when acted upon could reveal the Truth about accumulating wealth?
The answers those two questions are what I am going to share with you here. This is a very short, but very powerful read. Thank you for stopping by and subsribing to my blog.
I believe that we can all get more by “wanting” les
The last person wanting storage was looking to store her studio size downtown metro west coast apartment, because she could not stand being all alone. She thought she could handle living alone since her husband got deployed to Iraq serving in the United States Military. When he expressed his concern for her, she asked him how could he be worried about her. He was the one going to Iraq. How could h
Driving in Japan legally has recently afforded new challenges to foreigners from China, Brazil and the United States. Released in November 2002 and updated in February 2003, Traffic Act Article 107-2, has begun to create many problems for foreigners. Until June 2002, Foreigners driving in Japan (who held a valid drivers license from their home country) could apply for an international driving permit (IDP) and drive in Japan permanently. Since that time however, IDPs are only valid for one year. If a foreigner stays in Japan for more than one year and decides to reapply for an IDP, they would have to leave Japan for at least 90 days in order for the IDP to be legal upon their return. Those visiting Japan for a short time, of course IDPs are the way to go. They are quite cheap (around $10
I know i'm supposed to be posting fitness articles and whatnot...but WTF?! I'm not even a political person...not really down with some of these poli-TRICKS. Seriously, Bush is robbing the U.S. blind...and we're just sittin' here takin' it. We need to wake up and stop the madness. This dude is tryin' to spend OUR money like it's his. Bush just sent Congress details on a $70 Billion dollar request for the war in '09. Yet, I don't see him volunteering to send any of his family over there. Like I heard somebody say in a recent video..."If you're not prepared to send your own family into war, it ain't worth it." How many troops have died? How much have prices gone up on things we use daily? And for what? So good ol' George W. can make a fuckin' killin'...excuse my German. Like most of us can't
As a job seeker it’s normal to have a mindset that you want to get hired. However, this shouldn’t be the only thing that crosses your mind. Don’t get me wrong as ultimately this is the most important goal. However, if you think for a moment; have you ever gotten a job you really wanted [...]
I had always wanted to wear contact lenses because I want to change the color of my eyes. And what color do I want? Green! Yup some people may find this weird but I would love it if my eyes were green because I find it unique and interesting. And if you're wondering my eyes (as well as the ridiculous) here are just Photoshop edited, Lol!I just want to share what happened that changed my mind about having contact lenses. I went with my mom to get her glasses that she had ordered and we had to wait because the glasses weren't done yet. I was looking around when I realized that I wanted to get some contacts. A sales girl was approaching me and asked me what I wanted. Normally I would get irritated with sales girls who keeps on hovering above me as if I'm going to steal something. But somehow

MrsMicah had an excellent, thought provoking article the other day "What’s Wrong With Being in the Middle Class?" that I have to chime in on. The article itself, along with the 50+ comments were spot-on about how BEING middle class is nothing to be ashamed about. My take on it is that [...]
Kiwi entrepreneur Dave Simmons this week launched the new approach for New Zealand travellers heading across the Tasman. After 15 years' working in the travel industry in Britain, Simmons has returned with his family to New Zealand, bringing what he says is the unique "meta-search" business model.A less-techy sounding name for meta-searching is "price comparison"."From a consumer perspective, it's like going to a shopping mall and going to all the shops to compare prices on a pair of shoes, or on a suitcase that might be in three different shops," says Simmons. "Instead of going to all the shops - and getting the prices - we do that for you."
Britney Spears has recently been put down by the animal rights group for wearing fur and purchasing animals from stores.

Tomorrow in the Rose Garden, President Bush is expected to sign the Second Chance Act, which will provide $165 million in annual funding to help release and re-integrate prisoners into society:
Today, as a legacy of [80s and 90s “get tough”] policies, not only are record numbers incarcerated, but also about 700,000 state and federal prisoners are released annually, many of them with little education or employment prospects and destined to be imprisoned again within a few years.
In a sharp change in attitudes about incarceration, many states and private groups have recently experimented with “re-entry” programs to help released prisoners fit back into their communities and avoid new crime. The strategy will get a major boost this week.
First introduced in 2005, the Second C

I would love to have my house made over. It’s small, only 1300 square feet, and the kitchen is absolutely horrible. It’s too small, and old. The tile is corroding on the counters, the sink is awful and has no disposal. And the cabinets are too small for even a cereal box. [...]

The urge to get out of the office increases everyday. It is disastrous to work in such a condition that when you are rushing some important stuffs and yet people bomb you with immediate work to intercept and kill your momentum. Others start chasing you for your work and then some people keep asking causal questions when obviously you are already so fed up and lagged behind time.

While I'm still working on my post about my (frankly fabulous) hair for DooDaddy, I got to thinking about why the blog spark has started to fade.I'm barely checking my reader, comments are few and far between and as for updating this malignant rodent of a blog, I am struggling to muster enough interest. The question is - "what's changed?"The answer is - "nothing". Absolutely nothing, time continues to pass and the disappointments accumulate and build and become heavier burdens to bear with each passing month. The frustrations lead to undirected anger and therefore to silence, longer and longer periods of silence.Which way do I turn?Should I continue to dust off, jump up and start again, over and over. Blindly pretending against my natural belief that ignorance really IS bliss, or should I a

A study set to be released Wednesday, obtained by USA TODAY and commissioned by Informed-Choice, a non-profit coalition of U.S. supplements companies, shows 13 of 52 supplements tested between July 2006 and January 2007 at a British lab had small amounts of steroids banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency and all major sports leagues. Six supplements had measurable amounts of ephedrine, a stimulant banished from the market after it was thought to be a factor in the deaths of Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Korey Stringer and Baltimore Orioles minor league pitcher Steve Bechler this decade. "This is very eye-opening," says New York-based internist Gary Wadler, a member of WADA's Prohibited List and Methods Sub-Committee. "Clearly, the data suggests things aren't fine. Either the laws are not there or they're not being enforced."The real danger, beyond athlete suspensions, is the harm that could come from the steroids and stimulants found in the supplements. "Everything is a factor
We got an email from our buddy Jay from Mosio.com and he was having some problems with Word 2003. Check it out below:______________________________________________________Hi Admin, I have a question for you - Word crashed on me, and now when I start it up, it says If I continue, I get the following: (Do you want to start in safe mode?) If I choose No, I get the 1st crash message again, and the cycle repeats. If I choose Yes, Word starts ok, but it's in Safe Mode. Thoughts? Do I need to re-install office? Jay_____________________________________________________________What version is that 2003? 9 times out of 10 it is template corruption. I have ALOT of info about this issue. But long story short run winword.exe /a and see if it works. This loads word without add-ins. If it works your normal.dot is corrupted. Rename it normal.old and make sure word is closed down fully - restart if you are not sure. Then start word normally - let me know how it goes.________________________
I'm glad my husband does not read my blog because he really does not like hearing me talk about wanting to quit my job and stay at home (sorry honey, I needed to vent). And the truth is, I love my job and is enjoying it a lot. It's just that I know I am not spending enough time with my kids ... it's like I know what I need to do with them (to nurture them to the best of my ability) but I do not have the time to do all the things I need and want to do. They are growing so fast ... next thing I'll know they'd be teenagers. Sigh! There you go, my vent for the day. Thanks for listening.
I love reading Pete Prisco articles. Not because he's a great writer or because they're cool and informative. They're not. I just do it so that I can pick out things that are horribly dumb and wrong.Well, someone on the CBS message boards was kind enough to do the work for me today. A clever reader posted the link of an article that Peterson did back in 2001, ranking the 32 coaches in the NFL. Now, I know that a lot has changed and that back then this list probably looked decent...but I'm sure that he'd like to have some of this back right now.5. Dennis Green, Minnesota Vikings. Green and Pittsburgh's Bill Cowher are the longest-tenured coaches in the league. Green has consistently had his team in the playoffs during his 10 years with the Vikings, even if the Super Bowl has been unattained. His offensive philosophy to attack is perfect for this NFL. His one fault is never having put together a good defense. That's a demerit, but his record is proof of how good a coach he has bee
...is similar to wanting to be rich. A desire to win, or be wealthy, is fine in theory, but how is this going to be achieved? How many people that want to be wealthy actually take the brave step of starting their own business and putting their energy into the process. A desire to win is not enough, in fact, in gambling, it can be a hinderance.
The key is what you focus your desire on. Wanting money as a gambler can be a disasterous idea. It can make you forget, or not focus on, the things that really matter - how to win, how to improve, what really went wrong and what you've been doing right. Furthermore, it can make you chase the money, betting too big for your bank, or getting overly attached to the money that you have lost. Massive mental errors (and losses) could potentially occur.
The correct thing to desire, is to 'get better' at what you are doing. Regardless of whether you do in fact 'get better', this attitude alone will g
Earlier this week I blogged about my trip to the mall in which I had very little money, but came home with some amazing deals.
Those of you who swoon at the thought of a new purse asked me for a photo. My daughter had already taken it to her room so I didn't get one at the time, but I ventured into her room and quickly snapped a photo for you. I posted about it here.

I have gotten so many letters from people wanting to see that letter from the child molester. Really guys, I cant. Its gross beyond comprehension. You dont really want to see it and I will not post it. Someone recently left a comment about the lasting effects it has. It does. I thought about it for days. Then a person who asked to see it told me how surprised she was that there was no remorse. It was like the recital of a grocery list. Very matter of fact. She even said that the little girl said she liked it. Its heart breaking.
Turbulent is a limited edition blush from Chanel’s 2006 Summer Collection. Its a Joues Contrast blush which is the round ones not the quilted one.
The colour is a very cool toned pink with lots of shimmer. The texture is hard as its a baked powder blush. This is opposed to pressed powder i.e. where they compress the powder. However, despite it feeling hard to the touch, its very pigmented. One swipe of your brush over the blush, and you’ll have a lovely pink flush with shimmer.
This is my first Chanel Joues Contrast blush and I am sure its not going to be my last!
The problem however, is that this Chanel blush colour is limited edition and already sold out in many counters. So, I rooted around my blush stash, and came up with a dupe in Make Up For Ever No. 85.
Here are some comparison pictures of the 2 blushes.
The Chanel blush is lighter pink in pan with more sparkles. The Make Up For Ever one is more berry toned and more pigmented.
Here is a picture without flash of the

I remember when I was about 11 or 12 years old and really wanting my own horse. I was always able to trail ride at the local stables every weekend and in those days, they would let two twelve year old girls take out a couple of horses for two hours on their own and never worry about it and Jess and I were fine, never in trouble. Crossed busy roads, rode down by the Fox River, ran the horses on the old railroad track path and never had a problem. Back to wanting that horse. I remember that I used the argument on my Dad that he and Roxie, my older sister, had their horses when I was just three years old and that it wasn't fair. I had found a pregnant mare, named Flicka, funny enough. She was sorrel with a white star and white socks. I drug my Dad there to see her. Sat on her. Fell in love and desperately tried to talk my Dad into letting me have her. In the end, I did not get the horse, nor did I get any horse. Often as children we only see what we want and not the big picture like what
American Airline pilots on the past Thursday requested a 30.5% increase in their wages. The high wage increase comes after pilots have become fed up with the pay cuts that they received in 2003. What this could mean for the traveler is that online ticket purchases could increase in price for American Airlines. Their airline has become known for cheap or discount online air fare available online but pilot wage jumps could end their cheap ticket deals for awhile. As online ticket purchasers, we can only hope that this is not the case but time will only tell. In the mean time, American Airlines is still offering discounted tickets online.

Let's admit it...
We've all wanted approval at some time in our lives.
We want to be liked. We want to be loved. Even in writing this post, there's a part of me that wants you to think I'm a nice guy, and that I'm a good writer.
I'm seeking your approval.
And although wanting any form of approval is restricting, it's still a relatively normal feeling...
... In moderation.
But how many times

Not wanting to become a Google blog, but here are some more random thoughts on Google. How do I get my PageRank up? Probably one of the most asked questions around but there are a few things that confuse me. If it's all based on links to my site, why won't Google actually tell me about all of them? It seems to only tell me about a select few, even though I know there are more around. Why did the Random Pub Finder have a Page Rank of 3 but now it's 1, what did I do wrong? Why do other very similar pages have higher ranks even though they seem to have just as many links to them? Why does Google claim one of these sites has links from health sites when it clearly doesn't??? It's all very weird.Of course, Google Analytics tells me nobody is reading this anyway, other than somebody from the Department for Homeland Security...
