I was riding around on a freestyle bicycle in a large “warehouse” with smooth floors doing all sorts of cool tricks. What struck me in the dream was that I had such good balance and control. I was pretty proud of myself. After riding around for a bit in this “warehouse”, I rolled up to one of the windows which were pretty dark. You couldn’t see through them unless you pressed your face really close and cupped your hands around your face to block out any light. So, I did that and what I saw outside the window both amazed and confused me…I was in a spaceport!
I knew it was a spaceport because of course I could see stars and planets, but also arriving and departing ships. It was completely amazing and I was in awe. Once I realized I was in space I started thinking of just how I had gotten there, and couldn’t come up with an explanation. Just then I started to feel nauseated and had to crouch down.

Thought I would do a quick update on my vomiting cat saga. It seems as though there are quite a few people out there in cyberland who have vomiting cats.
Since taking the continuous feeder away I have been letting Fatty (and my other cat) eat as much dry food as she wants in one sitting at breakfast time and as soon as she is done, I take the food away. I'll give her a bit more dry food at around lunch time and then for dinner they get tinned food and thats it for the day. So far so good - no more vomiting. It seems as though she dosn't eat very much in one sitting, she just has a lot of sittings during the day!
It's quite funny though - I keep the dry food in a small tupperware container on top of the fridge in between meals but one of the cats, I am inclined to think it was the skinny one because Fatty dosn't leave the ground very often, has been getting on top of the fridge and eating the food when I'm not around. Easily solved by putting a lid on the container although

As you may or may not know, I have a couple of cats one of whom is rather large in the waistline, but comfortable with her weight, who we call Fatty. Fatty has always been a spewer, throwing up on average of maybe once every fortnight or so. Recently however, over the past few months she has been throwing up more frequently and now it has gotten so frequent that if we wake up in the morning and not find any kitty surprises on the carpet right in front of the bedroom door (where we inevitably step right in it) it is going to be a good day.
So, today Fatty is going for a little visit to the vet - what fun!($$$$).

As you've probably guessed from the title, this post will contain references to unpleasant excretory functions; if that'll bother you, the short version is that my husband and I got the most hideous food poisoning in the history of Western civilization but are slowly getting better-you can skip the details included below.

Tuesday evening, in a rare attempt to eat healthy, my husband and I had takeout salads for dinner; afterwards, he went to take a nap, and I... what, do you have to ask? I got back on the computer. Within an hour, I knew something wasn't sitting right; if I could have seen into the future (precognition never happens when you could really use it, does it?), I'd have been in the bathroom frantically sticking my fingers down my throat to try to avoid what followed with a preemptive barf, but all I anticipated at that point
