Firstly, one reader went to see Oscar and the Pink Lady with a fellow fan the weekend before last and has very kindly sent us a few words about the experience: The Old Globe complex was a beautiful place, and the staff members were quite friendly and helpful. They did their jobs well. We are now fans of The Old Globe as well as Rosemary Harris! The theater is small and contributed to our enjoyment of the show. Ms. Harris was really close to the audience the whole time. She was always moving around, so people on every side could see her face easily. We found the play to be very endearing, and Rosemary Harris was impressive from start to finish. It really was a treat to experience her performing so many distinct roles and voices at once. Kudos to her for a job well done! She is gracious, talented, and inspiring. It was a highlight that will stand out for each of us when we look back at 2007. IGN has premiered the new and final theatrical poster (below) for Saw 4, which the MPAA have given a new cut of the film an R-Rating for sequences of grisly bloody violence and torture throughout, and for language.

Back in July, at Comic-Con, SAW IV producer, Mark Burg revealed that the MPAA has given the first cut of the movie an NC-17 rating. Clearly unhappy, Mark said, “One day we’d like to have the guts and leave it like it is” Well it seems that day is still yet to come as the MPAA have given the latest cut of the film an R-Rating for sequences of ‘grisly bloody violence and torture throughout’ isn’t that the whole point of SAW? It’s expected that the we’ll see more of the ‘grisly’ bits when the unrated dvd gets released next year. IGN have also provided us all with the new and final theatrical poster, showing the women from the first production photo wearing the pig mask. Yesterday we bought you the first production photo from Jason Reitman’s Juno, which is to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in a few weeks. Now, the official website (launched yesterday) has released what we assume to be an early glimpse of the film’s theatrical poster. The official plot synopsis for the film follows, Ellen Page stars as Juno (also the film’s title), a whip-smart teen confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker (Michael Cera). With the help of her hot best friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby), Juno finds her unborn child a “perfect” set of parents: an affluent suburban couple, Mark and Vanessa (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner), longing to adopt. Luckily, Juno has the total support of her parents (JK Simmons and Allison Janney) as she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood and ultimately figures out where she belongs.
