Rocky: Mother Nature just keeps striking. We had more storms yesterday and my mom had to go out and clean up our front porch again after everything blew away for the third time. You’ve probably heard the old acronym (T.E.A.M. — Together We Achieve More). We all know championship sports teams achieve their success because of the collective efforts of the members of the team. While I prepare other, more verbose posts, I shall regale you with the tale of Michael and the Guinea pig cage.It was back in May of 2005, after Michael had turned one and learned to walk. We simply weren't properly acclimated to the fact that he was getting into anything and everything within reach. We had two Guinea pigs. They were pets of my daughters, from years before. We didn't really have any good spot in the house for their cage; the kids didn't take care of them well enough to have them be in their bedroom, and most horizontal surfaces downstairs were already claimed by important, decorative and non-smelly things. So the Guinea pig cage got relocated a lot.At the time of the event, it was in the living room on a table. On this particular Saturday morning, the girls were watching TV,
Some things can be done individually, but for some, you would need a person or two to back you up. You cannot always have a mindset that you can get things done with your own two hands. Certain things are best done as a team. This is where teamwork comes into the picture. Some individuals do face difficulties when working with their teammates. Some of the possible bottlenecks that would lead to negative team dynamics are:1. The inability to be receptive of one another’s diverse opinions and thoughts2. The negative working attitude that a few of the teammates could have portrayed during the course of work.3. One’s perception that better quality of work can be produced when being carried out individually, as teammates may still be unclear of the project expectations to be met.If we take so

How well do you know your teammates? Do you know their first names? Would you feel comfortable lending one of them $20? How well do you get along with them?
Teamwork is what separates the CAL-i from the CAL-m, the pug team from the new CAL-o superstars. Most teams in source have crappy teamwork, relying instead on their aim to carry them through a match. But aim can only carry you so far, and
Last week I had the opportunity to spend two days on a rustic team building retreat at Joy Outdoor Education Center in Clarksville, Ohio, courtesy of a corporate client, Hill-Rom, where the group learned about their Insights® colors (courtesy of Scott Schwefel), did a high ropes course and related activities, endured gusts up to 34 mph and wind chills down to the teens (brrr!), shared emotionally-moving and personal stories deep into the night by light (and warmth) of a bonfire, slept in cabins, ate camp food, and stretched and grew in ways that were truly amazing. And that was Day One!Day Two included a morning of coaching and facilitation, courtesy of yours truly, and an afternoon of detailed departmental planning and goal-setting, led by Phillip Saxton, president of MiTowne.Initially, I perceived, and prepared for, my role as that of catalyst: "an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action," as Merriam Webster might say. But as I settled into my bunk that first nigh

Raikkonen made up a 26-point deficit World champion Kimi Raikkonen believes he won his first Formula One title because of Ferrari’s superb teamwork. Trailing Lewis Hamilton by 26 points at one stage, Raikkonen clinched the title after winning the Brazilian Grand Prix. “We weren’t in the strongest position at some points, but we always believed we could recover,” said Raikkonen. “Even in the hard times we stuck together,” the Finn added. “I need to thank the team because we always more…
“Self-deception operates both at the level of the individual mind, and in the collective awareness of the group. To belong to a group of any sort, the tacit price of membership is to agree not to notice one's own feelings of uneasiness and misgiving, and certainly not to question anything that...

TEAMWORKA saying goes : The Inability Of A Team Has A Greater Impact Than The Sum Of The Inability Of Each Team Member. To be in the right team is as important as choosing the right company. A great team will support you to success in your MLM business. For many people who is doing MLM, most of their teammates are family, relatives and friends. The problem is that, your family members, or your friends know you too much, and their not serious about the business. And the result is, your business won't last long. To have a long lasting income in from MLM, you must be committed and serious about your MLM business, so choose a right team of people who are also serious about it. After all, this is your dream, this is your future. Stop and think, this is your futur, so you must plan it seriously, put your effort in it. Besides that, you need a good leader or upline who is serious in this business. Your business partner is important to you. Imagine that if you have got a lousy upline, who p
ORGANIZATIONAL SERVICE REQUIRES TEAMWORK by Robert PantéOutstanding service is more than an individual excelling. High performance is critically dependent on how well a team plays. This is true in business as in sport. When each individual contributes so that the output is greater than the sum of its parts, a unique and special synergy is achieved.A. Create a Sense of Common PurposeMany organizations have tried to capture this concept through a mission statement. The “higher common purpose” strikes close to home and the heart of each employee. It is articulated in such a way that it instills pride, motivation and commitment in one and all. It reflects on the quality of customer service in a business environment. It goes to the heart of the team player and must be compelling enough to create that special feeling of a unique identity. The ‘higher common purpose’ is most often noticeable during a time of crisis. (Many organizations have a very short-term view and the next quar
"It's better to have a partner than go it alone. Share the work, share the wealth. And if one falls down, the other helps, But if there's no one to help, tough! Two in a bed warm each other. Alone, you shiver all night. By yourself you're unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn't easily snapped."These are the words of the wisest man to ever walk the face of the earth. King Solomon was blessed with immeasurable wisdom, and he penned these words for us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (The Message). These words apply to business today just as much as they did when they were written nearly 3,000 years ago.The idea here is that there is strength in numbers, and nowhere is this more apparent than it is in the workplace. Often the greatest successes in business come when companies take advantage of certain synergies, and more importantly when there is a real sense of community. Evolutionists would call this a "tribal instinct", but the

The creative team (Lorena, Joaquin, Nelson, Wyzton and Martin) took some time to share a few insights with Behance.
Unfortunately the replays being short, this cuts out the first two passes which were a long pass from the halfway line by Chivu to Totti, a volleyed pass from Totti to Okaka who chests it up volleys it back to Totti who then nods it on for Taddei to volley home.
Nothing special, i just liked that the ball never touched the floor from halfway line till it hit the Lazio net and included four passes before the strike.
I play a quick one-two between Hurst & Gazza from a freekick to create some space.
I then play a pin-point manual high arc pass with the right thumbstick to Hunt who unleashed a perfectly timed and aimed screaming volley into the near top corner.
