TEST spin bowler Stuart MacGill believes there's nothing wrong with Australian crowds continuing to bait Muttiah Muralitharan when the Sri Lankan vies for Shane Warne's world record. Australian crowds have had the Sri Lankan spin king in their sights since he was twice no-balled on previous Australian tours. Muralitharan declined to return to Australia in 2004 after crowds greeted his deliveries with cries of "no ball" and Australian Prime Minister John Howard branded him a "chucker". However, Muralitharan has subsequently been back for the Tsunami appeal match in January, 2005 at the MCG where he received a hero's welcome and made peace with Mr Howard. While he has changed his tune, MacGill does not expect the same from the Australian crowds. Muralitharan needs just nine wickets in November's two-Test tour of Australia to overtake Warne's world mark. MacGill believed the fired-up local crowds would - and should - be keeping the Sri Lankan honest in Australia.

They've released a "background paper" claiming the total cost (wages, pensions, benefits, etc.) for one hour's work in Canada runs the automaker $77.75.
