Former Indonesian minister for state-owned enterprises Laksamana Sukardi was declared a suspect Friday in the alleged misappropriation in the sale of two oil tankers belonging to state-run oil firm Pertamina. State prosecutor Kemas Yahya Rahman identified Laksamana and two other suspects by their initials in a press conference at the Attorney General's Office here. "After the investigation team completed examinations on witnesses' accounts and evidence, we came to a conclusion that the three people were the suspects," he said. The two others were later known as Pertamina's former finance director Alfred Rohimone and former president director Ariffi Nawawi. "We already imposed (overseas) travel bans against them," said Kemas, adding questioning of the three suspects would start next Wednesday. Police working in the case of Madeleine McCann, a 4-year old British girl who went missing from her hotel room in Portugal when her parents left her there alone with her 2-year old sibling while they enjoyed a nice evening dinner away from the children in a hotel restaurant. Authorities now believe that the girl was abducted from the hotel room and spirited away to another castle by famed international kidnapper King Koopa, alias Bowser in several parts of the world. Portugese police revealed previously unknown details from the crime scene, including a large reptile claw found in the hotel room, scorch marks that they believe came from a large fire-breathing animal of some sort, and a large painting hung on one of the walls of the hotel that hadn’t been there previously but that police couldn’t enter until they had collected at least three stars from paintings in other areas of the hotel.

Last week we reported on the nail bomb attack outside a primary school in Liverpool. It has now been reported that a man has been arrested in conjunction with the attack. Police have described the nail bomb, which went off minutes before the children finished school as an ‘improvised firework-type device’. The vehicle the bomb was attached to was a Nissan Micra and belonged to a female teacher. It was parked around 30ft from the windows of the £4,500-a-year public school but fortunately no one was hurt.
