Being the Queen of Pop, it is unsurprising that Madonna stole the show at Radio One's music festival One Big Weekend.
However, it wasn't just her latest chart-toppers that grabbed the crowd's attention.
Dressed in thigh-high lace-up black boots and tracksuit bottom, the 50-year-old cut a striking figure in her latest style re-invention as she did a raunchy performance of her new tracks।

I work in a large office at a large office building downtown. I'm fortunate that I have a printer, bathroom, kitchen, copier and fax machine all within close proximity to my desk, just in case I need to get to one of them in a short amount of time. This is moreso needed for the printer and fax machine, but you know what I mean.Even though this printer is close to me, I still have to share it with with all the men and women sitting in my cube-area. And recently, I've noticed that if I send something to this printer and don't go to get it right away, that it's magically gone. How is that possible? I even asked one of the women that sits near me if she accidentally grabbed my printouts when she picked up her paperwork. She claims she didn't and I guess I believe her, but where did my two-page

The 11/4 favourite from France, the Pascal Bary-trained grey Natagora, staved off all challengers over the final furlong to win the 1000 Guineas (G1) at Newmarket. In doing so, Natagora avenged the unlucky defeat five years ago in this race of her trainer’s brilliant filly, Six Perfections. Natagora, the Champion European Two Year Old Filly of 2007 when her victories included the Cheveley Park Stakes (G1) on English soil, crossed the field easily from a wide gate, and, much like New Approach in the 2000 Guineas on Saturday, dictated her own terms until quickening up coming out of the Dip.
Gee whiz…
I wonder who this kid has for role models. Gangsta thugs, probably.
He certainly is a great boot camp poster child.

For those of you “softies” who say “don’t spank”…you’d change your tune if your kid did this…to you and your car!

To think that yesterday I was considering leaving the business and possibly getting married and having children. After seeing this I think I'll stay a whore with no children. LMAOSeriously though I know I shouldn't be laughing, but I can't stop. I watched this video 12 times. Did he just say "I wanted to do hoodrat stuff with my friend" LMAO (laughing my ass off) For those of you who don't know what that means (like my mother) it means he wanted to act like a person with no sense, no education and lives in the housing projects (please note that not all people who live in the projects are hoodrats). No really that is what it means. He's been playing Grand Theft Auto I see. LOL His 7 year old friend smokes cigarettes? Guess what? If he was my son, he wouldn't have been able to give CNN an in

Nothing beats watching 2 Game 7's in a row. A busy but steady Martin Biron stalls the Caps while the stagnant Joffrey Lupul bags the series-clinching goal in the first game and then....of all people...The Mouth of the South Jeremy Roenick turns the clock back about 10 years tonight and absolutely steals the show. Roenick scored 2 goals and had 2 assists as the Sharks, aided by their home crowd, buried the stunned Flames 5-3. Jeremy fricking Roenick. I think he has 6 goals and 2 assists in 7 career Game 7's now. It's amazing what happens when an egomaniac gets benched in a critical game 6, only to prove his coaching staff wrong and become a hero in the finale. Jeremy fricking-assed Roenick. Yeah, I hate him. But when he does something like this, I have to respect. I didn't mind him in the C

Who would have thought after being down 15-points on the road, playing against a championship-caliber team, getting 4-16 shooting by our best player and having a roster filled with playoff newbies, the 76ers would be up 1-0 in their first round playoff series against the Detroit Pistons? Well, surprise, surprise, that's the unsettling reality everyone in Detroit must face, most importantly Flip Saunders and his "experienced" Piston players.
In the first quarter the Sixers came out with tons of energy and attacked. After that initial burst it became clear Detroit was the more experienced team. They executed well on offense and looked under control at all times. What was also clear was that the Sixers had no plans of backing down.

Commodore 64 here to report on the next big splash on the scene. First some history. If any geeks out there remember a time when it was actually a plus for things to run in a browser - along came Macromedia with its FLASHy browser plugin that seemed to work consistently everywhere and broke the boundaries of old-fashioned HTML forever, although still stuck in the 4 walls of a browser. This was when I was Foxin with the Flash back in '99. Admin and I used to sit and try to dream up the next big way to take over the world and Flash was AWESOME, but not everybody knew what a "Browser" was.To combat this obvious blasphemy, Macromedia added a cute little feature to it's Flash app which is still one of my favorite old-school, quick and easy, in your face, ad deployment methods - the Flash Player e

48-year-old Skip Legault has suffered a long list of horrendous physcial ailments due to tobacco use: two heart attacks; a stroke; 7 blood clots; 14 surgeries; a leg amputation. And he's still smoking.Anyone who has lived with nicotine addiction knows that it is insidious and extremely powerful. It's hard to quit smoking, and the sad fact is, many thousands of people don't find their way free of this killer habit in time. Mr. Legault openly admits the power that nicotine addiction still has over him, even after all he's been through because of it. He's put himself out there in the public eye, knowing that people may ridicule him because he hasn't been able to quit smoking. But he did it anyway, because he knew that his struggle with this addiction would send a powerful message that could h

Carl Hagy, who is 41-years-old, has been arrested for stealing a laptop from Rev. Fidelis Obdike, who was in the process of praying with him. Hagy was arrested by police on Wednesday after he pawned the computer, according to reports.
The incident happened on Friday at the Destiny Global Ministries, in which police responded to the call by Obdike describing what happened. Obdike told police that he bought the laptop from Carl Hagy about two weeks ago. Then he said that Hagy came back to the church and asked to pray. While the two where praying inside the church Hagy took the preacher’s laptop computer and left before Obdike even opened his eyes.
Police later booked Hagy at the Sebastian County Jail, but he was later released on a $1,500 bond. I am still trying to figure out how the man took the computer without Obdike hearing him.
This is really amusing. A raccoon sneaks inside your house, steals the carpet and sneaks out. After watching this video I remembered a funny FRIENDS episode where Joey keeps mentioning Raccoon whenever he needs to give an excuse. That was truly hilarious. Joey: Somebody opened the door to the coffee house and a raccoon camerunning in, went straight for your muffin and I said "Hey don't eatthat-that's Phoebe's" and he said.. He said.. "Joey you stink atlying." What am I going to do? :)
Arsenal maintained their lead at the top of the Premiership table after a hard-fought 2-2 draw with second place Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The home side were forced to come from behind twice against their major title rivals, with Arsenal captain William Gallas proving to be the hero after an excellent stoppage-time equaliser. Despite the thrilling finish to the contest the first half was a relatively quiet affair until just a minute before the break when Manchester United took the lead through an unfortunate Gallas own goal. But Arsenal took just two minutes of the second half to get back in the game when Cesc Fabregas finished smartly from Bacary Sagna’s pass. United then looked to have won the match when Cristiano Ronaldo tapped into an empty net in the 81st after good work from substitute Louis Saha and Patrice Evra, but Arsenal found a late reply through the most unlikely source when Gallas redeemed himself by firing home from the tightest of angle

To “prepare for a new role”, Marisa Tomei admitted to stealing from a drug store,
“I have stolen recently… Band-Aids! There were five Band-Aids in the pack, and I got a sticker shock at the price, so I just grabbed one, which was all I needed.”
Marisa Tomei is still acting! I know, shocking! Oh and the part about her being a cheap fuck is pretty scandalous too. Sticker shock? This isn’t a BMW we’re talking about here, it’s a travel size package of band-aids. $1.50 tops. If Danny Bonaduce can afford a mansion in Los Feliz and he does NOTHING, I think Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei can buy a fucking band-aid.
This is one of those stories you expect to see on one of those shows they run in the middle of the night that feature dumb criminals getting stuck in chimneys or locking themselves inside of stores. A guy in Missouri stole a machine that’s used to make driver’s licenses. Problem is, the computer was actually locked with a key that he didn’t have. The guy then calls tech support asking if he can buy drivers for the printer and uses the same phone number he used previously in an identity theft case. The secret service was listening in on this for some reason and ended up catching him.

Presumably to be used by "traditional healers" in magic rituals:
A KwaZulu-Natal nurse is expected to appear in court today after she was arrested in possession of a baby’s umbilical cord in a hospital parking lot on Sunday.
The 33-year-old assistant nurse, whose name, rank and the hospital where she works cannot be named until she appears in court, was caught red-handed with the umbilical cord.
When arrested, police searched her home and found four more body parts in a bottle inside her fridge.
Police say they are convinced the body parts were to be used for muti, but they would not reveal details of the parts found.
“We believe the parts were destined for muti,” said police spokesman Muzi Mngomezulu.
Mngomezulu said they were also trying to determine whether the woman was a member of a muti syndicate.

Not one day after the Discovery channel finally aired that documentary about overcrowded prison systems that I must’ve saw a commercial for every 2.5 seconds on various networks, a man is arrested for stealing a donut and may get 30 years.
Oh yeah. 30 years. That’s more than Michael Vick, OJ Simpson, Larry Craig, and every other nut that I’ve covered at one point or another in this blog will ever get. That’s more than most people get for killing someone these days. But at least the pastries are safe!
I won’t get into my own beliefs on the legal system and what should be the punishment for various offenses because you’d probably think I was out there. Obviously, the punishment doesn’t really fit the crime in this case. The man has been given the nickname “The Doughnut Man” as well which is just going to make prison like that much more depressing for him. Reports are he didn’t even get to keep the donut.

Three eastern Missouri men were willing to go to extreme lengths to get some beer.
That’s the accusation after an incident in the early hours of August 18th at Fish’s Quick Stop in De Soto. Store clerk Vicky Gaines says a masked man walked in and began doing the hula dance.
Police say the plan was for the naked dancer to create a distraction while another man took a case of beer from the store. It didn’t work.

Want a Free GPS? - Sign up for our Mailing List and we're going to give a Garmin Nuvi 350 away to one lucky winner at the end of August.
I continue to see Sunday Circulars for specials in Bricks and Mortar stores with claims of $50-$100 off a GPS; the prices are still $30 - $50 higher than prices online at sites like Amazon. Example; Best Buy has the Garmin Nuvi 350 for $399; ($100 off), it's $369 everyday at Amazon with free shipping, Exceptions this week are for TomTom ONE XLs - $349 online and at Best Buy.
Two things hit me this week as notable:
1. The Nuvi 250 is under $300 this week ($296) for the first time, while the Nuvi 200 is $274. Both very nice prices for these units. See my Hands on Review of the Nuvi 250 for an idea of how well this will perform. Maps are the only difference: Nuvi 200: Continental U.S., Hawaii and Puerto Rico (no Alaska or Canada detail), NUvi 250: All of North America (no Mexico).
2. TomTom ONE Refurb -
Moving Day From Hell! A theft ran off with $100,000 worth of jewelry from Hulk Hogan's family home. Apparently Hulk's son Nicholas Hogan left some Bling wrapped in a towel at the house where the family was moving from. When the Hogan's went back the next day for the last of their things the Bling was mysteriously gone!!Ok! Who leaves $100,000 worth of jewelery in an empty house?!?! Stupid!
I grew up in a large family by today’s standards — I am the youngest of seven children. Needless to say my mother was a bit frugal and with good reason considering the amount of mouths she fed. She was also very good at assigning each of us duties; one of my many tasks was to be in charge of the coupons. Part of my Sunday ritual was to cut-up the Saver Section of the newspaper and file all the coupons. I would go grocery shopping with my mother and keep track of all the weekly specials and double coupon deals.
So of course, many years later now that I’m grown up and have gone nuclear (married with a house, two kids and a dog) everything has come full circle and my wife and I have become clever scouts for double-coupon deals and track every expiration date on the manufacturer deals and rebates.
Old news to some, but new to me I have recently stumbled upon a whole world of coupon blogs, sites and portals, but a lot of them seem to be baiting you for your personal infor
I guess this means no marriage (or so I hope). I wrote about how one fiance is grieving over a death and the moving way he proposed to her. This story is in stark contrast. Las Vegas police arrested the former fiance of country singer Tanya Tucker recently. They were driving across the country and he drove off with her clothes and jewelry.
His name is Jerry Laseter and they were on their way to perform in Las Vegas. He drove the U-Haul full of $500,000 worth of her wardrobe and jewelry. This is the funny part: Tucker said she’d give him money and two tickets back to Nashville for returning her things. He emptied the truck and abandoned it at a Las Vegas casino. One thing was left: a note. It said: “When you are trying to get someone over a barrel, make sure you got a strong barrel.” It was punctuated with an expletive.
He didn’t act alone - there was another woman. Tucker got her things back. I hope she didn’t invite him to the concert but they couldn&rsq
Highlights
Sure enough; Amazon has dropped the TomTom ONE pricing for now, TomTom ONE is $242; a very good deal.
I have to say that the Nuvi line, especially the Nuvi 200 series has dropped in price recently to be pretty darn close to my predictions for what it should be for the summer (see my post from early May on my summer pricing expectations for Garmin and TomTom.
So, if you want a dead-easy to use GPS under $300, and don't need frills or maps of Canada; go for the Nuvi 200. The Nuvi 250 includes North American maps, and is running in the low $300's. The thing is that if you want Text to Speech (TTS) you can pay $40-$50 more and get the Nuvi 350.
Noticed that the Nuvi 200 is dropping; around $271. Better meeting my expectations on the price vs benefits.
The Nuvi 250 has settled in and is available for about $306 online, down again this week. This is a much better place to be than the days when it was MORE expensive than the Nuvi 350. See my Hands on Review of the
CHICAGO – “Becoming Jane” is slow, stuffy – as it should be in that time period – but beautifully acted and scripted. Anne Hathaway as pre-fame Jane Austen entirely steals the show.Anne Hathaway in “Becoming Jane”Photo courtesy of Miramax FilmsIn a time when women are essentially bred to marry men with money and act as lady like as they can until they do, Austen plays hard to get. She also bucks a major trend of the time with her independent thought and career aspirations. Austen craves making a living as a female writer when a female’s job wasn’t to have a job. The film packs romance, love, authenticity and quality acting. You’ll enjoy it if you’re the artistic, romantic type who can be seated for 120 minutes without CGI or anything getting blown up.Anne Hathaway and lover James McAvoy in “Becoming Jane”Photo courtesy of Miramax FilmsAt my screening for the film, the female-dominant crowd leaked quiet squeaks during climatic highs and lows. Someone’s copying Jimmy.
T-Mobile recently launched a new advertising campaign featuring a character named “Jimmy”, a young bachelor who bears a striking resemblance to the Seinfeld character of the same name. Both characters are young bachelors, both have that same “cool dude” attitude, and both speak in the third person. The similarity has been given little attention either due to Sony Picture’s lack of interest in protecting Seinfeld’s intellectual property or T-Mobile’s desire to keep the controversy quiet. Despite the lack of coverage, after watching both characters in their respective roles it is obvious that T-Mobile’s advertisers were not simply inspired by Seinfeld but chose to copy the show outright.

Carlos Mencia (Ned) has a well documented history of stealing jokes from other comics. I never found him funny. I watched The Mind of Mencia a few times just to give him a chance and he came across more annoying than funny. Joe Rogan, who I also do not find to be funny, is probably the loudest person documenting Mencia’s joke stealing. There are others.
Stealing jokes isn’t the same thing as having a similar line of thought. Many comics will have similar jokes simply because of the topic or their line of thought. An example of this would be the Leno’s, Letterman’s, Conan’s, and Kimmel’s monologues. On any given night, you will have similar jokes. Stealing is directly lifting of a joke. Using the same words in the same or similar pattern. This is what Carlos Mencia does and what has been documented with side by side comparisons (YouTube is a great resource for this).
Now Mencia has been caught stealing from a YouTube viral video that makes f

Of all the reasons to steal money from a bank, this has got to be one of the worst:
A Nile Bank employee who allegedly withdrew Shs15.9 million illegally from customers’ savings to pay a native doctor has been sent to prison on remand.
Janat Mukasa, 32, a customer service officer at the Wandegeya Branch in Kampala, was on Thursday charged with embezzlement and causing financial loss to the bank.
She was charged together with Twaha Kiggundu, 38, the witch doctor she allegedly gave the money in return for blessings and cleansing so that she can overcome her troubles at work. He allegedly asked her to get the money from her workplace.

I know, it's been a while. "Shoe Steals" is always the most popular post series here on Stiletto Jungle, but we haven't done one in a good long while. It's not because we're slacking. Really! It's just that the clearance section over at Amazon.com hasn't inspired us lately. It takes work to sort through the literally thousands of pairs of shoes in the Amazon clearance section, so we've got to see the promise of diamonds among all of that icky coal to make it worth our time (and yours)!Today's selection doesn't disappoint and I'd say it was well worth the wait. We've dug up 12 pairs of name brand pumps all priced below $30. In case you are worried that all that's left are the crazy sizes and colors, don't be! All of the shoes pictured here are available in a wide range of sizes and, in most cases, a range of color options as of the date of this posting. Also, the majority of these shoes ship for FREE with Amazon's Super Saver Shipping. Ok, enough with the small talk. We'v

Gravedigger Keith Chartrand seems like a real nice guy. He only killed a dog and then stole some body parts (including a skull and a thigh bone) from an open grave:
"While he was digging a grave, a casket was broken open, so (investigators) believe he took the body parts to make an ashtray and a pipe," Police Lt. Kevin O'Brien told the Sentinel & Enterprise of Fitchburg.
Police discovered the theft when they went to his apartment Wednesday after his wife complained that her husband, Keith Chartrand, killed her dog. She said she found the body parts among his belongings.
Police charged Chartrand, 30, with removing a body from a grave and cruelty to animals.

PAKISTAN qualifier Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi produced the biggest upset in the first round of the ATP tournament here overnight.
The 27-year-old, from Lahore, ranked world No.304, beat France’s No.1, Richard Gasquet, 7-6 (10-8) 6-4.
Qureshi was delighted to take out a seeded player (No.5) in straight sets and, after winning the first set in a tiebreaker, put in a commanding display to take the second 6-4 as Gasquet, 20, struggled to modify his game on grass.

Can I just say, technology is glorious. Here I
am, completely unable to utter even the most basic of coherent sentences and I
can sit down to type a post that would literally kill me to try and say.
Glorious! Of course, I'm doing so while listening to my "no repeat

(because I'm a big dork) of a bunch of songs that I love and I might
add, obtained legally by ripping them from my own - purchased - CDs.
Also, glorious! Naturally, prior to sitting down to this task, I spent
the day working like a dog, only briefly pausing to check in with other blogs,

I intentionally ignore certain things...like tags. I'm sick, you can't be
