Back for a second year on the trot, this season the look is less boho peasant and more luxe hippy. I know a lot of you like powder blushes, but I wanted to dedicate a moment of worship to a classic berry shade of cream blush that just does so much to make me look happy and not sallow (I once got asked if I had jaundice by a friend. In my defense, I hadn't slept all night and was highly dependent on Dayquil to stay alive). I am also very much washed out in this pic as it was taken in natural sunlight, without flash, and at around 2:30 pm. However, the blush is still visible, and I hope, pretty, NARS Montenegro glides on like a dream and blends even better. I can pat it on with my fingers, use a small stipling brush, or a foundation brush to add thin layers of colour. The blush looks like an uneventful cold purple in the pan but on my cheeks it transforms to a happy, delightful, flattering berry shade. One huge plus is that it really brings a sparkle to my eyes. I have very, very sensitive skin as you might remember from my rather frequent complaints about it. The winter especially is hard and my skin really gets dry and takes a beating. I am also a little reluctant to slather on a very heavy moisturizer as I am also prone to break outs. Enter La Roche Posay’s Toleriance Riche. I know I praise a lot of things by this line, but I promise I only praise things that truly work for me and don’t irritate the hell out of my skin.Toleriance Riche comes in a ridiculously tiny squeeze tube and in my opinion the company really could afford to give customers a bigger size. That is my main pet peeve with this moisturizer. Other than that, it is a truly amazing thing. It doesn’t contain any preservatives and is quite no-frills. It doesn’t have an anti-aging or free radical killing properties. It’s basically a rich moisturizer that has a very minimum amount of ingredients. And that is precisely why it has turned out to be such a life saver for me.

We had never heard of this stapler before we looked in on the JND web page, where Don Norman writes on good design and related topics. The stapler is called PaperPro and it uses a new (at least for staplers) approach inspired by - staple-guns. The staples uses an arrangement of levers and springs to load and enhance the power that is applied to the handle in order to release that power accurately and powerfully at the right moment. The model above is promised to staple up to 20 pages of paper, but there are other models available, too, both one smaller and one more powerful.
