Keeping Dracaena Spikes As Outdoor Perennials
Dracaena Spikes are often sold as annuals in nurseries, but just because the summer is over doesn’t mean you need to pull this plant and discard it. Spikes are actually a cold hardy plant in USDA planting zones 7-11, and can grow up to 2 feet in height, returning year after year when left outdoors. [...]

Looks like Takeo Spikes season is over. He tore his rotator cuff in the win against the Cowboys. There is a chance he could try to play through it, but I doubt the Eagles will want him to go that route. He will need to have surgery to have his shoulder repaired.Shawn Andrews might not [...]

      Oil spikes, almost reaching $90
Oil prices hit a fresh intraday high Wednesday - despite the government's report showing surprising inventory growth - after Turkey authorized military action in Iraq.Light, sweet crude for November delivery rose 89 cents to $88.50 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, eclipsing Tuesday's record trading high of $88.20; the price rose as high as $89.00 before retreating. On Tuesday, oil prices closed at an all time high of $87.61.Just after the Energy Department's Energy Information Administration inventory report earlier in the session, oil prices fell as low as $87.09 before rebounding.Despite the surprise increase in inventories, tensions between Turkey and Kurdish separatists in northern Iraq continued to support higher crude prices. The Turkish parliament voted 507 to 19 Wednesday to authorize its military to stage an incursion into Iraq to take on Kurdish rebels.Conflict along the Turkey-Iraq border could disrupt oil supplies coming out of the region and drive crude pric

Naomi Campbell Spikes Sales of Christian Louboutin Boots
I would love to wear $1,500 Christian Louboutin boots to work to mop and wash windows. That’s exactly what Naomi Campbell strutted on her way to report for her cleaning duty — punishment for throwing a crytsal studded Blackberry at her assistant. As reported by the New York Post: Reformed supermodel NAOMI CAMPBELL’s community service wardrobe has lead to a huge demand for Christian Louboutin boots. The English beauty, 36, wore a string of expensive, designer labels as she arrived every day for her week-long stint at New York City’s Sanitation Department last month (MAR07). Once inside, she changed into department regulation workwear. Campbell was ordered to clean the department as punishment for attacking her maid ANA SCOLAVINO in March 2006. One of the mornings she arrived for work, Campbell wowed the paparazzi in a pair of spike-heeled Louboutin boots, of which only a few existed. Campbell explains, “One my first day I wore a Ralph Lauren coat, a cashm

Housing Inventory Spikes! Demand at 11-Year Low.
Just a quick bit of news, prompted by a phone call from an old friend. Thanks, Tom.Going largely unreported, inventories of homes have continued to sky-rocket with the month-over-month increase in inventory of an amazing 11.8% between the end of February and the end of March. 11.8%! If that rate holds, we will see inventories double from their current levels by Aug, 30.Also going unreported, is the fact that at the end of March this year, we had more homes for sale than we did at the end of May of last year where we are generally well into the selling season. Clearly, the intelligent bearish sellers are trying to beat the Summer rush, beating their neighbors to the punch.Have a look at the source data by clicking here.On the flip side, Lansner is reporting on his blog that home sales are at their slowest rate in 11 years here in OC. Clearly, buyers are utterly rejecting the absurd prices asked for by sellers and are waiting until the inventory situation comes to a head before consideri

      Takeo Spikes traded to Philadelphia
Takeo spikes has been quietly requesting a change of scenior and on Monday night he was granted his wish. The Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a trade that would send Bills linebacker, Takeo Spikes and quarterback, Kelly Holcomb to the the Eagles in exchange for defensive tackle, Darwin Walker and a 2008 draft pick(believed to be a late round selection)."This is something that has been brewing," Bills general manager Marv Levy told The Associated Press. "Takeo is a good person, but we wanted to strengthen our defensive tackle. They've been looking for a linebacker and I think they wanted an experienced backup quarterback."This is a great deal all around, the Bills had a glaring need at defensive tackle and the Eagles desperately needed a playmaking linebacker and the addition of a solid backup quarterback doesn't hurt either. Spikes is expected to replace Dhani Jones as a starter at strong side linebacker.
