I’m a father of three boys. Fortunately for me, they were born spaced apart by a few years. I also have the best wife in the world to help care for them.
Unfortunately for this guy, his wife died soon after his triplets were born.
If you have one child, you can imagine the work and sacrifice he has in front of him. If you don’t have kids, imagine the thing you cherish most in this world. Now imagine it won’t stop asking you for things, and costs hundreds of dollars per month to maintain.

Russian Dolls: copyright Vivien BlackburnI've been down to visit my daughter who is expecting her first baby in 3 weeks - so lots of excitement :). So now I have a lot of finishing off paintings and organising to do to get some work ready for an exhibition and catch up.This is a rough design for a card for her - it's her and her husband and their cat as Russian Dolls (they aren't at all that shape! - well she is at the moment but not normally :) ) - I haven't decided yet whether it will be a cut out to shape card or a square card with the image on. What do you think? Someone already pointed out that it might be a good idea to have the baby larger than the cat ....... or else the baby fits inside the cat ...... oooops!
In a moment of total Pythonian Logic I sat down to blog today about some current event in the news. Something absolutely amazingly important. It was the type of information that would probably have changed the course of earth.But I got sidetracked today when I saw the blog of John Wood. After seeing this article I decided would scrap all the important things on my agenda and write about a totally unimportant issue.A fellow blogger has started an encyclopedia of Monty Python things. I got to hand hand it to Sacha Baron Cohen, Borat as expected is a huge hit making nearly 10 million on its opening night. If you take into account that it was only shown on 800 screens it becomes quite a feat. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to check out Borat in the next week or so. Lately I’ve been seeing Borat cameos anywhere from Conan O’Brien and SNL to earlier this week with The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
