Keith Richards has clarified his recent comment about snorting his father’s ashes - insisting his denial was only in relation to mixing it with cocaine.
The Rolling Stones’ guitarist’s confession sparked a media frenzy earlier this year when the revelation was made in the British music magazine NME.
Richards released a statement at the time claiming that he was only joking about inhaling the ashes of his dead father Bert with the illegal drug.

It has been claimed the Stones rocker Keith Richards 63 has snorted his father’s ashes. Richards father Bert who died in 2004 was cremated and some of his ashes were added to a bit of “blow.”It was also claimed, “It was not true” and was said as a joke.
The Rolling Stones concert tour had to be cancelled last year when Richards fell from a tree, which resulted in brain surgery. Richards said, “I wasn’t climbing a tree I was sitting on a shrub. The Stones will return to the UK in June with their A Bigger Bang Tour.
