I happened to notice The Chicago Sun Times's Ballyhooing of Obama's Supposed smear of Rush Limbaugh. Let me just say publicly, that seeing Rush is someone who built a career on bashing and smearing of Liberals, I think any and all smearing of Rush Limbaugh is totally appropriate and acceptable. For the record, Obama did not smear Rush, at all. Technorati Tags: Rush Limbaugh ,Politi
Sen. Joe Lieberman's op-ed in yesterday's Wall Street Journal owes no debt to the truth. Lieberman, who just over a year ago promised Connecticut voters he would work to get a Democratic president elected in 2008, now happily uses outright lies in an attempt to smear Barack Obama and the Democratic party as soft on terrorism. After the flip are a few of Lieberman's most blatant deceptions,
As more and more of our everyday lives move online, people are becoming aware of their online reputations. Not only are millions of people representing themselves online everyday, but they’re becoming aware of the reputation smearing power of the Internet.
For instance the website Don’tDateHimGirl is supposedly a social network for women to share their dating stories. In reality it’s an ever growing list of men who have been shamed for being ‘damaged’ in the hopes of warning other women with horror stories about the individuals.
Don’tDateHimGirl is just a drop in the online ocean. Disgruntled ex-partners, employees, garbage men, clients, next-door neighbours, and even that guy you cut off in traffic this morning now have the power to publicly embarrass you on the Internet at the drop of a hat – without you even being aware of it.
Soon enough it won’t just be businesses that’ll need Online Reputation Monitoring services.

Digital Sensor Dust Sucks!
Look, in most everyday shooting, most people probably won't notice the small specks of dust building up on their sensor. I mean... why would they? They are all but invisible. However, close down that aperture and take some longer exposure shots, and you suddenly see them. Amorphous black blobs of photo ruining dust. Why must they be there!? Why that shot!? Arg!!!!!
It just so happens that such a thing happened to me recently, while I was trying out my new F/2.8 17mm-50mm Tamron lens. I took some nice bright outdoor shots with the aperture stopped down to F/22, handheld. The composition was okay. What I wanted was to get a nice "wow, look how nice and open this scene is"... and the shot looked great. That is... until I got back to my laptop and look at the images up close.

LumiGram, for all your decorating/clothing needs. Luminescent fabric used in clothing, bags, etc. Ridiculously expensive as the technology is still new, and the design (especially for clothing) needs some help. But imagine the ambience of a dinner party set at a table with a glowing tablecloth...via Designspotter
This is truly a new low even for the AP. Let's hear some more about the independent unbiased press shall we. If this isn't the most blatant smear camapign I don't know what is. ~RJHRhymes With Right article link Who Cares About Romney Family's Polygamous Past?Mitt Romney is the only major GOP candidate still married to his first wife, who he still refers to as his sweetheart on the campaign trail. There isn't even a hint of infidelity on his part -- and if there were , we would certainly have heard of it by now. So why the articles about polygamy three and four generations back in his family? I hope Villepin came out as tired as can be from his interrogation. From the AP Wire (via the Jurist website of the Pittburgh University):
PARIS (AP) - French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin underwent more than 17 hours of questioning by judges investigating a suspected smear campaign against a political rival, a marathon grilling that spilled into early Friday.
The scandal centered on damaging - but false - allegations that Nicolas Sarkozy, France's interior minister who is widely considered a leading presidential contender, had secret bank accounts.
The affair helped poison relations between Sarkozy and Villepin, unsettling the center-right government in which they form an uneasy pairing, and has played into the race for the French presidency in 2007.
Key questions are what Villepin knew, and when, and whether he kept an investigation into the allegations going long after it became clear that Sarkozy had been unjustly accused. Judges were questioning Villepin only as a witness.
