TRANSLATION-ARRESTED FOR BEATING THE CRAP OUTTA PAPARAZZO.
Lily Allen says she doesn’t want to be a celebrity, but she allegedly committed a classic act of celebrity bad behavior: punching a paparazzo.
The British pop star, 21, was arrested in London Thursday on charges of punching photographer Kevin Rush.
The incident allegedly happened back in March as Allen left the Wardour Club in London’s West End with her boyfriend of nearly three years, DJ Seb Chew.
On Thursday, Allen went to a London police station, where she was photographed and had her fingerprints and a DNA sample taken.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman told PEOPLE: “At approximately 1:30 a.m. on the 13th March a woman allegedly punched at a male photographer in his 40s, near the Wardour Club, W1. He suffered a cut to the nose, but didn’t require any hospital treatment. Officers attended but the woman had left.

Like it or not, Paris Hilton is back.
Hilton, who served 23 days of a 45-day sentence for a probation violation stemming from a D.U.I. conviction, was released shortly after midnight Tuesday from L.A.’s Century Regional Detention Facility.
Hilton, smiling widely after being officially released at 12:01 a.m., walked out of the facility alone through a mob of cameras and assembled media and embraced her mother, who picked up her daughter in a black SUV.
“The sheriff’s department made her exit out of the front door, just like any other inmate, so no one would say she was given special treatment,” a source at the jail tells Usmagazine.com.
Tomorrow Larry will Interview Paris.
With news helicopters hovering, and flashbulb-popping paparazzi in cars chasing after Hilton, the SUV transported her from the jail to the Hilton family mansion in Beverly Hills.

Beaming for the cameras, Paris Hilton walked out of jail Tuesday morning after serving what she has called a life-changing sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related driving case.
Shortly after midnight, a smiling Hilton – her hair in a long ponytail and wearing an olive jacket, white shirt and jeans – was escorted by deputies out of the jail complex’s door. She waved to a crowd of nearly 200 reporters, photographers and others, and walked up to a waiting Escalade carrying her parents.
“Mom!” she said as she embraced her mother at the car. (See a YouTube clip here.)
After she got in, the chauffeured car then drove off with a swarm of photographers in its wake.

He was convicted a year ago of having violated campaign finance laws by receiving illegal contributions and lying under oath. He should serve the whole sentence he got in the first place. Come to think of it, he should be serving much more jail t

Paris Hilton is going back to jail.
L.A. Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer ordered Hilton to return to the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban Lynwood, just one day after sheriff’s officials released her to house arrest.
Following the decision, Hilton was escorted from the courtroom by two deputies as she screamed, “Mom! Mom! Mom!”
“This is cruel,” Kathy Hilton told Usmagazine.com after the ruling.
Earlier, L.A. County Sheriff’s officers handcuffed Paris Hilton at her Hollywood Hills home at 10:15 a.m. PST Friday and transported her in a patrol car to a downtown L.A. courthouse. Hilton could be seen sobbing as the car pulled from her home.
Shortly after Hilton’s arrival at the courthouse, her parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, entered amid a media frenzy.

A day after Paris Hilton was reassigned to house arrest, prosecutors will ask a court to force her back behind bars.
Hilton, 26, is required to appear for a 9:00 a.m. hearing on Friday, where she will face Judge Michael T. Sauer – the judge who initially sentenced her to 45 days in jail.
The last-minute hearing was requested by Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, who will ask the court to order the Sheriff’s Department to return Hilton to jail.
Prosecutors have also asked the court to force the Sheriff’s Department to explain why it should not be held in contempt of court for allegedly violating Judge Sauer’s original May 4 sentence, which forbade electronic home monitoring.

– Paris Hilton was released from a Los Angeles County jail early Thursday because of an unspecified medical problem and will fulfill the reminder of her sentence in home confinement, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
The 26-year-old hotel heiress was sent home shortly after 2 a.m. fitted with an electronic monitoring bracelet. She had spent five days at the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban Los Angeles for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
“I can’t specifically talk about the medical situation other than to say that, yes, it played a part in this,” said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Apparently crime does pay when you’re Hollywood’s hottest heiress.
Paris Hilton left the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, at 2:09 a.m. Thursday morning after serving only five days of her sentence, and has been reassigned to 40 days of house arrest, LA County sheriff spokesperson Steve Whitmore said.
“It is not an early release — it is a reassignment,” Whitmore stressed. She will fulfill the remainder of her time from home.
He added that the decision is “not unprecedented and happens occasionally.”
The 26-year-old heiress will be monitored via ankle bracelet and will be allowed to leave her home (to get the mail, for instance), but for no longer than 30 minutes and she must stay in the 3,000 to 4,000 square feet range.
Whitmore cited medical reasons as the underlying reason behind the decision.
“After extensive consultation with medical professionals it was determined this reassignment would take place.”

Soon after Paris Hilton reported to jail late Sunday night, her famously fashion-forward look changed dramatically.
After surrendering her possessions and changing into a standard-issue uniform, Hilton was escorted by two sergeants to her tiny cell, her hands shackled behind her back and her hair tied in a scrunchie made from an elastic sock.
Just hours earlier, Hilton told reporters at the MTV Movie Awards that she was “scared but ready” for her time behind bars – but life in the lock-up hasn’t been easy for the heiress.
“She cries all day,” a source tells PEOPLE in its new issue. “She looks unwashed, she has no makeup and her hair is tangled. She cried audibly through the first two nights.”
The transition from the red carpet to the jail’s concrete floor was and swift and dramatic. So what’s an average day like for the 26-year-old at L.A.’s Century Regional Detention Facility?

Hilton told the judge she was very sorry and that she would "pay complete attention to everything" from now on. Paris Hilton is going behind bars.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted prosecutors’ requests Friday afternoon to sentence Hilton to 45 days in county jail for violating the probation terms of her January conviction for alcohol-related reckless driving. She will start her sentence June 5.
“[T]oday’s ruling sends a clear message that in the city of Los Angeles no one is above the law,” said Nick Velasquez of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office.
Hilton’s attorney, Howard Weitzman, told reporters he was “shocked and disappointed” by the sentence. “To sentence Paris Hilton to jail is uncalled for, inappropriate and ludicrous,&rd
PARIS Hilton will be prim and proper today in L.A. Superior Court, where prosecutors will argue she should be jailed for 45 days for driving on a suspended license. Paris, who pleaded no contest last January to alcohol-related reckless driving, was on probation when she was pulled over on Jan. 15. She signed a document acknowledging she was not allowed to drive. But on Feb. 27, she was pulled over again. In documents filed Monday, prosecutors say they also want Hilton to abstain from alcohol for 90 days and wear a secure continuous re mote alcohol monitoring (SCRAM) device on her ankle. “These violations demonstrate Hilton’s disregard for the vehicle laws of this state,” the court filing said.
