Though these LED-like miniskirts and push-ups raise heads up from Blackberries, they come at a price ($124 for the skirt, to be exact). The GloFur collection by David Lee appears to have a narrow audience, as only rave kids and girls with 'Princess' bumper stickers are allowed such fashion leniencies. The lovely Tim Gunn hosted a fashion show at Grand Central Station yesterday around noon. Similar to the grocery-garment challenge from season one of PR, the show was a promotion for Wish-Bone featuring "Summer Salad" fashions. After putting on my latest purchase, this Guess bubble skirt, I thought to myself, "You have enough bubble skirts, you don't need any more. This obsession has got to stop". Most of us have tried (and many failed) the denim mini look. Some have gone to the opposite extreme and tried full lengths. What I want to try, though, is the knee length. In a way, it's amazing that I don't have one already. I didn't realise this, until trying on a rather cute one in Zara Munich recently:Note the waist height - not too low, not too high. The length is also good - not too long for summer. I rather like it. I like the front pleat, and the back was also good. There wasn't too much elastane, either.Another I've found is this, by D&G.
