Filed under: Peripherals We got to spend a little bit of time with Aliph's new Jawbone headset, and we'll confess we're a tad smitten. The headset is considerably smaller than its predecessor, and the improved earbud design gave us a comfortable fit right out of the box -- with other options waiting in the wings. Jacaszek & Miłka - Sequel [2005]
Quote from their official site: Sequel is a song album, performed by poet Miłka Malzahn. This is a kind of "singing poetry", where poetic text exists together with modern electronic music. Our first album "MAPA" was called a "poetic trip-hop". SEQUEL could be named a "poetic electronic swing", but this of course is too simple description. SEQUEL is a music story of lost, broken or unfinished

Mass Effect Sequel Will be "Richer" - SendMeRSS
Mass Effect Sequel Will be "Richer" The release of Mass Effect has seen much praise heaped on BioWare, but the studio has kept mum on the subject of a sequel. That is no more, as BioWare general manager Greg Zeschuk has begun speaking about the sequel, specifically addressing the side-quest system, saying that it will be “richer” than its predecessor which was criticized for being too repetitive. He talked about building the foundation of the game, stating that it will be much easier to integrate content and “make things richer” for the sequel. As expected, he does not offer any release date (it’s too early anyway) but he does look forward to the game being “smarter”. Worst sequel casting replacements
A few weeks ago, I inexplicably referenced The Flinstones in Viva Rock Vegas in one of my posts. Sure, that may be grounds for movie blog renouncement right there, but somehow my inpending trip to Las Vegas made me think of it. Besides, it gave me the idea for the post that you're currently reading. See, the first Flintstones movie starred John Goodman in the title role. Who doesn't love Goodman, after all? He was in Roseanne, he'll be forever remembered as Walter Sobchak - heck, he even played The Babe (not that anyone cares to remember that one). So, imagine Jack's Total Lack of Surprise that the second, Goodman-less (and every other star-less) Flintstones movie bombed. But as bad as either film might sound, the truly egregious act here was the replacement of Goodman with the terribly un

      Siblinglessness ~The sequel (6)
I was always envious of my friends who had sisters or brothers. It did not matter which for the most part, any sibling would do. Some of that envy was no doubt quite self-serving. I had no defense against a charge of wrongdoing. There was no one else to point the finger at. I'm sure, much as most parents might deny it, there were plenty of times when a matter is simply dropped because the real culprit could not be determined. Perhaps some got the old, well, if nobody will confess, you can both get punished, thing. I wouldn't know, I had no where to hide, myself. My parents didn't assume that children had much of anything valuable to contribute to a conversation. We ate dinner, when we ate as a family at all, in silence. I grew up with a TV within view of the table, and we watched earnestly

Dementium 2 DS sequel possibility says developer
Jools Watsman, the Renegade Kid owner and creative director, recently did an interview with the Handheld Wars. In it he answered a question about how he thought the company’s first game Dementium: The Ward came out. To quote: “I'm very proud of what we accomplished with the game. There are some aspects that I wish we could go back in time and fix, but as a whole I'm really pleased with it. I have taken note of everyone's feedback, and if we are lucky enough to develop a sequel we will address all of them.” Good to know Dementium 2 is a possibility. In our Dementium: The Ward review, the conclusion suggests these improvements for a sequel: “If they had simply added a good storyline, some depth to the combat with smarter enemies, improved the map system (as well as showed you where you need to go, which it never does meaning you get lost easy) and changed up the game’s environments, then I think a game like this could definitely have worked. 2 Girls 1 Cup sequel dated!
Last night I tried to describe 2 Girls 1 Cup to a friend. Unfortunately, I’ve gone through the horror of watching the video (I will never be able to look at two girls-making-out-over-an-adult-contemporary-piano-rift as amateur soft-core porn again). Well, I felt I wasn’t doing the video justice and forced myself to visit the infamous site again (of course, I have it bookmarked). After the second longest minute of my life (obviously number one was the first viewing), I thought the coast was clear to check out the rest of the site. Just under the video is an innocent countdown - something that would probably go unnoticed as just a simple banner ad - instead holds the future of the internet. Even with the countdown at 24 days, I feared the worst, as I naïvely clicked on the “What is this?” and a page opened up titled: “1 Girl 1 Pitcher: Is it baseball?” (WARNING: Currently this site is only NSFW because of the ads, but I imagine it's going to get m

      Sequel to original Don planned
The producers of the original Don are planning for a sequel. Reportedly the movie would be called "Don - Return of the King', and bring back the original Don, Amitabh Bachchan. Farhan Akhtar is too planning for a sequel to his version of Don, starring Shahrukh Khan. It's not a hidden fact that Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan don't go well with each other. Would this movie worsen their relationship further? What would happen if both the movies release on the same day? Billy Connolly, Xzibit and Amanda Peet Join X-Files Sequel
The second X-Files movie is set to start shooting in Vancouver this month so it’s about time we get a few new cast members. It seems that David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson won’t be all alone after all as director Chris Carter has announced some interesting new cast. It’s been reported that funny man Billy Connolly will be joining Amanda Peet and rapper Xzibit in the supernatural thriller. It’s great to see Billy Connolly in the cast. He’s the funniest thing to come out of Scotland in my opinion and has fantastic screen presence when he acts (which he can actually do!). There hasn’t been an announcement as to who Connolly, Peet or Xzibit will play but it’s been hinted by The Hollywood Reporter that Peet and Xzibit could be FBI agents. Another Not-So-Good Sequel
      * Potential Spoilers Follow*Last night, after Zane was in a deep slumber, Grace and I watched 28 Weeks Later on DVD. We had high hopes as we thought it's prequel 28 Days Later was great. Although it wasn't horrible, and definitely not lacking in bloody, viral-induced Zombiism, it was definitely not up to par with its predecessor. Given that the characters from the first movie survived the zombie virus, they really should have appeared in the second film. There were no returning characters, so I was a bit disappointed.I also really didn't get the whole repatriation of London by the American military just 28 weeks after the zombie virus infected and killed most of the Britons. It was a bit too corny, much like a seriously bad B-movie.The central characters in this film were two children, their zombie-infected father, the not-believable female chief medical officer that abandons her military duties to save the two children and a self-sacrificing military sharp shooter that does the sa
