Mrs Chen, of Laohekou city, was waiting in the bank to withdraw money when nature suddenly called for her dog.

It feels like it has been a really long time since we told you about the new Robbers On High Street album, Grand Animals. And now, finally, the disc is in stores and ready for you to consume. The sophomore release from the band is very solid, but the timing for pushing it to the masses has been less than stellar. Let’s hope it does not affect the sales of the album for a band that deserves some attention.
I have a nice little remix of a tune from the record for you today, to freshen things up a bit if you have already heard the album a bunch, this song originally appeared on the Fatalist and Friends EP from late last year, and is also on the new album. The remix however, is just a nice little bonus for you ROHS fans. Enjoy!

In the car was an officer with the Selangor police contingent and a colleague. It’s not due to hit shelves till June, so I was a bit surprised to see the new full length from Robbers On High Street hit my mailbox this week. Even so, after 3 times through, it’s a bit of an early dissapointment. The strongest tracks so far are the ones you are already familiar with. “The Fatalist” and “Married Young” from the late 06 EP. And “Crown Victoria”, which has been a live standby from the band for awhile now. The jury remains out on this one, as it should, since we are still 3 months from a street date. And in the interest of not getting too ahead of ourselves, here is a track from “Grand Animals” for your streaming enjoyment.
