I know I blog a lot about ThisNext here but mostly about "stuff" I keep the work stuff off of this blog BUT today was a particularly thrilling so I must share ...We had a pretty kick ass meeting today, which Jason Calacanis was a part of. In the meeting one of my fabulous ideas was crowned "Best Idea of the Day" so I got a prize :) What was that prize you ask? Look what we get — Flood Watch Issued for Most of W. Washington An approaching Pacific weather system laden with subtropical moisture could cause many Western Washington rivers to flood their banks Saturday night through Tuesday, the National Weather Service said in a special flood watch advisory issued this afternoon. The weather system, a classic “Pineapple Express,” is expected to dump colossal quantities of rain on most of Western Washington with little or no letup for 24 hours or more starting Saturday afternoon. It HAS been darker this afternoon and wet, off and on. I almost don’t want to know about this. And, best of all, we may get some wind, too, which always leaves me nervous about going back pre-Edison. Good thing: I got more yarn and needles and can finish that hat and start that scarf. Bad thing: Kid without naps means no knitting time and heavy rain means creating a preschooler’s Gold’s Gym inside somehow. Let’s hope the NWS
