Cada vez mais me convenço que a religião faz mal às pessoas. Talvez Marx estivesse certo quanto ao efeito entorpecedor da religião organizada. Fico até assustado com as reações de religiosos quando algumas de suas verdades absolutas são questionadas. Então vejo o quanto as religiões se afastaram da pessoa de Jesus. Sim, expressões raivosas, destilando ira, intolerância, ou, no mínimo, deselegância, não estão bem de acordo com o exemplo de Jesus. E é exatamente assim que reagem os que se renderam a uma ortodoxolatria, pouco importando se católicos, protestantes, muçulmanos ou judeus. Se a pessoa se acha filiada à única instituição que tem o monopólio da salvação, a reação é sempre parecida.

I haven't felt this rotten in a long time.
I've been pissy to everyone around me except for my kids. I was even acting pissy to my mom.. (not something I'm proud of) but I feel like my temper is on a very short leash. I'm not normally like this. I'm usually great at controlling my temper. The problem is, I don't know what has triggered my temper in the first place.
I'm pissed off about nothing
China has been long known to come up with various ideas which people find amazing. But this aspect of making vegetation global warming full-proof has got to solicit some doubtful minds. Making grains ultra-violet system resistant does answer ½ of the global warming issue on crops but what about the edibility that they have when applying such “protectors” in the process?
This is not to take away the credit for effort made by Chinese scientists, but they have to show some supporting claims with regards to safety as well. Sure this is something that can help combat one problem, but it may lead to more serious ones if not proven to be effective.

It seems Wall Street is falling behind Canary Wharf and the City of London. Even though money mystics and shamans are firmly established in British banks, investment banks on Wall Street have been very slow to follow this new trend. Mark Howard from the Alternative Wall Street News explains, ‘American banks don’t trust these mystics - not yet. Yes, I know that a handful of American banks based in London have hired money mystics, but it’s not happening on Wall Street. British banks such as Dodger Coombes are leading the way.’
I believe Wall Street investment banks will have to hire money mystics very soon. Otherwise Wall Street will suffer as a major financial centre. I recently reported that a statue of Big Herb has been erected on Wall Street. That is an encouraging sign, but the banks have to be bold now and take the next step.

I thought I could, I really tried. But when it comes down to it there’s a part of me that just cannot walk away from a debate. Especially one that riles me up as much as homeschooling does. Bryan over at Sympathy Pain doesn’t like homeschooling. That’s fine, really. It’s not going to be for everyone. But his reasoning is just, well… not steeped in reality.
