      Buyer's Remorse?
Buying things online has always given me that thrill and satisfaction. But not all my shopping experiences have been smooth.I've experienced non-received items twice, and on both occasions, I bought from livejournal users. I must have lost a total of UD$50. Then, I wasn't aware that I could open a dispute with the seller on Paypal. Should I have known it, I might have been able to get back that

A Case of Buyer's Remorse?Democrats seem to be having a bad case of buyer's remorse. The number of rank-and-file Democrats that want Hillary Clinton to drop out is decreasing--even asLeftipundits, the Mainstream Media and Obamatunists grow increasingly frantic in their calls (pleas) for Hillary Clinton to bow out and let Barack Obama wrap up the anointment as Democrat nominee. In the last several we

Text message remorse and rules to remember
In trying to figure out the best way to make, contact and keep new SAHM friends, I have to remind myself that everyone’s communication preferences are different.  My preferred method of communication is still e-mail - a holdover from my working mom days. But e-mails are harder to come by and typically the slowest method of communicating [...]

      Anybody But Dinning: Buyer's Remorse?
Jim DinningSometimes it’s the little surprises that make your day as a writer. I was doing some online research for an article on a completely different topic when I came across the old ‘Anybody But Dinning’ website. At first I wondered why this site would still be active from a leadership race over a year done. Then it occurred to me that this could be a topic itself. I wondered if the A.B.D. group of PC members, who yelled ‘LIBERAL!’, ‘RED TORY!’, and ‘TOO CALGARY-BIG BUSINESS!’ were feeling some buyers remorse-like symptoms. Given a year of Premier Ed Stelmach, how many of them have said ‘oops!’?Largely because of their blatantly false and low-class smear campaign that targeted Jim Dinning, the membership vote was severely split which, because of the system in plac

      Regret and Remorse
From Easy Does It, January 27:"All of us have things we regret. But when regret takes possession of our thoughts and lives, we are in trouble.... To concentrate on lost opportunities or to wish the past was different opens the door to despair. All we can do is the best we can do at any given moment ".I think this is a great point. Regret leads to despair, simply because it is a form of "worry" over things that can't be changed. What can possibly result from such worry?Everything about it simply leads to despair, sorrow, self- punishing, and most of all- aggravation. Why didn't? Why couldn't? Why isn't?These three short statements are the source of so much heartache in so many lives. But when we reach a place where we believe that everything happens for a reason- that everything is meant t

      Say “NO” to Buyers Remorse
Buyer’s remorse is not something that anyone wants to deal with. I have personally second guessed even the smallest of purchase. Remorse
Remorse is kicking in for Wife. She now realizes that all the spending money and going shopping every day and looking for a job are all “wrong”. She just sits on her bed, or on the recliner, or on the toilet (sometimes for literally hours at a time) and squeezes her eyes shut like she’s in pain. I can’t stand to look at her so I only show up to make sure she eats something and then I leave. What a pointless, stupid life.

The post that keeps on postin’ *Now complete with commentary and blogger’s remorse
© Mrs. Flinger 2007. Time: July 15th 8:10pm I honestly have no idea how people with two small kids blog. I’m not sure who LB is more jealous of, the computer or her new brother. Either way, any time I try to sit down and write something, let alone something remotely fun or spunky, her little world has some crisis and her brother magically starts screaming. It’s uncanny. For the last eight weeks I’ve been posting in stages. Stage 1: Make up the title and click “Save Draft”. Walk away from computer to fix meltdown. Stage two: Write something and click Save Draft repeatedly in between a myriad of feeding/helping/entertaining/soothing. This stage could take hours or days. Stage three: edit and scan for punctuation and spelling. (I usually skip stage three these days.) Stage four: hit publish, have no time to actually respond to comments even though I read them, laugh or nod or want to say something oh-so-much like how much I heart you.  Start pr

Seller’s Remorse - Hesitations When Receiving a Good Offer
A large number of business sellers experience a period of indecision right after receiving an excellent offer for their businesses. When the dream of selling the business is so close to come through, sellers struggle with their emotions. Their businesses are their babies. Separation is very painful. How to recognize seller’s remorse? In most cases, sellers start wondering if the price they are getting is too low. The whole idea of selling the business becomes questionable. May be I should hang on the business for a few additional years. I will make this same money in my business without having to sell it. Some sellers start asking for higher prices than those agreed upon or renegotiate terms and other matters already settled. What is the effect of the seller’s remorse on deals? It can be devastating. Buyers get very upset and get a sense that they have wasted a huge amount of time on an impossible deal. The tension between buyers and sellers increase and deals dye in most c

Remorse - Drinking Quotes - George Ade
“R-E-M-O-R-S-E! Those dry Martinis did the work for me; Last night at twelve I felt immense, Today I feel like thirty cents. My eyes are bleared, my coppers hot, I'll try to eat, but I cannot. It is no time for mirth and laughter, The cold, grey dawn of the morning after.” George Ade (1866 – 1944)...

      Buyers Remorse?
The first day in the new home was not what I would have expected. I felt sick to my stomach. Did I experience buyers remorse? Luckily not. My entire sense of safety was pulled out from under my feet with this fixer upper. I felt unsafe and exposed. In short, I was confronted with a long standing issue and that was a good thing. Now the next challenge is to just live by the minute, as I learned in meditation retreats. It does not matter how long the remodeling will take, all I can do is in the Now.

Will there be any buyer's remorse?
Americans Doubt Democrats Have Iraq Plan, Poll Finds While voters in Election Day surveys said corruption and scandal in Congress was one of the most important factors in their vote, the postelection poll showed that 37 percent of all adults said the war in Iraq should be at the top of the congressional agenda during the next two years. The issue of terrorism, the second most mentioned priority, was ranked highest by 15 percent of those polled. Though voters apparently embraced the Democratic mantra of changing course in Iraq, a majority of the public did not detect a clear Democratic blueprint for ending the war. Fifty-seven percent of all adults in the AP-Ipsos poll said Democrats do not have a plan for Iraq; 29 percent said they do. The poll of 1,002 adults has a margin of error of 3 percentage points. That finding strikes at the heart of a Democratic dilemma. The party has been of one voice in criticizing President Bush's strategy for the war but has been more equivocal on
