Here is another card I have made in retro blue & green. I used a cream hammered card as the base and cut and scored to C6 size. I selected some suitable green/blue floral background paper (Basic Grey - Gypsy), edged with aquamarine chalk ink and applied as a mat leaving 1/4 inch of the base card showing. I then took some pale green cardstock and stamped with Versamark a random floral design which i then heat embossed using green embossing powder. This was cut to a mat, edged with the same chalk ink and applied to the centre of the card. Two tags were added (K & Co), again edged with chalk ink, and held in place with pale green floral brads. After my last post I was thinking about how I would be feeling if I had school age children who might have eaten some of the recalled meat (described first in this post, and then again in yesterday's post below). I do know from reading the articles that thankfully no one has been sickened yet (that we know of) by the possibly tainted meat. I would want to know if in the very least, the meat has been seperated and set aside, out of the risk of consumpution by children. One Vermont paper contacted a few schools to see what they are doing about the recalled meat, and it was encouraging to read that one school had set the recalled meat aside after the investigation by the USDA was launched two weeks ago. Mitsubishi Motor Corporation said today it would recall 169 Pajero SUV made between November 10, 2004 and November 24, 2007 by its Chinese joint venture with Changfeng Motors due to an engine hood lock problem.Meanwhile, Changfeng Motors also announced to recall 10,152 units of CFA 2031 Pajero SUV manufactured between December 16, 2004 and February 9, 2007.Due to a processing flaw, the engine hood locks of these vehicles may open automatically which may block the driver's vision.The two companies have already submitted a report with General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). No accident has been reported.Mitsubishi and Changfeng said their dealers would inspect the potentially flawed engine hood locks in the affected vehicles and replace the part with a new version without charge.Mitsubishi and Changfeng have been in cooperation for some five years, and the two sides just decided to set up a 50-50 joint venture this June, while futher negotiation

Another recall from RC2 but surprisingly not down to a violation of the lead paint standards! This time, around 100,000 units of The First Years Children's Feeding Seats have been recalled due to a fall hazard.
There have been 38 reports of straps pulling out of waist strap slots with 12 reports of children falling out of the chairs. The chairs recalled are The First Years Newborn-to-Toddler Reclining Feeding Seats which include a tray, reversible cushion and a three-point safety belt. On one side of the seat cushion there's a sewn-in label which reads “the first years by Learning Curve.”
All seats are included in the recall apart from those with an "R' stamped inside a raised circle located on the far left and right of the back of the seatback or those with waist strap slots which are nine inches apart.
The seats were sold at various retailers nationwide between November 2006 through October 2007 for around $30. Consumers are advised to stop using the seat immed
