I hear that God is more interested in character than gifting. I don’t know if I’ll ever have enough character to be qualified to prophesy.
When people make this statement, “God values character over gifting,” it’s like saying He values one quality that HE has given as a gift over another gift which HE also gave.
There is no Scripture that states this. It’s one of those “sayings,” but it’s not supported in the Bible. God values BOTH character and gifting–since both come from and through HIM. He will be growing both character AND your gifting throughout the rest of your life.

So I’m always listening to prophets and preachers talk about all of the stories and God stuff that happened to them when they were kids. Its always so awesome listening to peoples stories (like Paul Cain, Bobby Conner, etc) but one day I got mad and said something like “God, why don’t I have any stories..where are they?” He starting showing me different events and stuff that happened in my life that would foreshadow my future. He showed me some awesome things, and I’m only going to share a couple of my favorites in this session, I’ll write more in the future. I’m convinced that there are “prophetic significants” in everyones life (yes even you) and if you ask the Lord to reveal them to you..he will. (I like to call them “prophetic significants”..admit it..my phrase is cooler then everyone elses. =P)
