I've been noticing the idea of under promising and over delivering for a while, and it has definitely got my interest. My first concept of it was that when you're obligated to to something, promise to do a bare minimum job, well within expectations, but nothing exceptional. Or, if a favor is being asked, you don't need to make any promises. Then, in both cases, over deliver by going above and beyond the basic expectation you've created. Sounds fine. But there's another take on it. I was searching for more information, and I came across an article at ezinearticles.com called, "We Got It Wrong: Never Under Promise and Over Deliver." Folks! I must say that I am very disturbed with the video featured by MalaysiaKini yesterday. It was all about that bloody incident that had happened over at Kampung Rimba Jaya a few days ago. The incident also saw the demolitions of a ‘surau’ and a temple. The video featured by MalaysiaKini however only provided us with some clues about the temple-demolition event. If you have seen the video, you might be wondering what the h*ll had really happened over there. Well, I’m just as dumbfounded. It doesn’t make any sense at all. True, the 7-day eviction notice had been given to the residents but what can they really do in that short time period? Seriously folks, there is something very wrong about this incident. We had a little detour last night and this morning so the pictures will be a little late in coming. I have still had my earache - but this time it decided to invade my other ear. Unfortunately, this one wasn't as accommodating. At about 2:30am after screaming in agony for well over 6 hours my eardrum finally burst. The relief in pain was instantaneous, but I know from previous ear drum bursts that it was no so good for my hearing and the scarring. Even still I finally was able to go to sleep (on a towel of course because my ear is gushing with pus and fluid). I went to a doctor today and he was so kind that even I was shocked. As we know I don't have health insurance - a common predicament in this country! But I found a doctor who didn't deal with insurance at all, which I wondered was a good idea. But I can't tell you how happy I was with this doctor. He went out of his way to talk to me for 45 minutes and prescribed me only medication that was covered by the $4.00 Walmart prescri
