Carstoday.com recently reported of sighting of what looks like a revived Ford Focus RS at the Nürburgring, despite Ford’s consistent denial of such model.
Ford has repetitively said that there is no possibility of an RS successor to the Ford Focus ST, but spy pictures and speculations says otherwise. The basis? A mystery black test mule was seen around the Nürburgring.
The test car was reported to have larger front air intakes and alloy wheels, and a sizeable rear wing and is looks more like an ST.
Reports say that the RS is packaged as a rally-inspired hatch that will be powered by a 3.0-liter in-line six engine that delivers 224 or a turbocharged version of the ST’s 2.5-liter mill with 209 KW. It will also feature an all-wheel drive system from Volvo and heavily reworked by Prodrive. Some also say that the RS will compete directly to the Mitsubishi Evo X and the Subaru Impreza WRX STI. A few hours ago I noticed a new button in my mail called “All feeds”(I’m using Yahoo Mail Beta). It comes with some feeds already added which I removed , and I tried to add the feed from this blog http://www.youritronics.com/feed/. All I got was an error message saying:
“There was a problem trying to add ‘ YourITronics ‘ Try to add it later”
I think the idea of having feeds into yahoo mail is great.. I will sure add some feeds into my mail when they get the service running without problems. After seeing this we have to ask ourselves, why did yahoo launched this service? Maybe they are loosing ground to other services that people are using to get they’re feeds or maybe I’m wrong.. Let me know if you have the same problem adding a feed.

Another part of the yellow sofa saga has been the other aspects of generally re-arranging the room. Unsurprisingly, there is a fair amount of technology in rashbre central, but the area with the sofas should really be a haven of simplicity. So I wonder sometimes at the large collection of remote controls that progressively accumulate. Television, DVD, Sky, Hi-fi, Remote iPod, Apple Mini, VCR(!). Even the fireplace has a remote control. I can't be bothered to count the number of buttons, but it must be over 500, especially if I count the typing keyboard for the Mac Mini. And selecting certain lesser used functions like playing a Video Cassette becomes a short excerpt from some kind of mission control movie.So, like I recycle the shiny boxes from CDs and DVDs, I thought it was about time to rationalize the buttonage and make it simple to switch things on to do what is required. After 2 full weeks of holidays in the Fraser Valley and on Vancouver Island it's time to come home. I gotta say though, I can't remember a holiday that has ever been so eventful. Vancouver Island really is the place to be in BC. I know Victoria and Nanaimo have high crime rates, but places like Coombs and Parksville are just plain wonderful. If you ever get a chance to go to Parksville and Rathtrevor Beach (pictured), by all means do it. Camp there or stay at a bread and breakfast. The tide goes over a kilometer out at the park and then comes in so fast that you can almost walk it in. Reports surfaced a few weeks ago that the Brickell luxury condominium project known as Villa Magna was canceled. Miami Today News reported earlier today that the project may move forward but with a significant change in the development plan. Villa Magna developer, Tibor Hollo, wants to replace 178,506 square feet of condominiums with hotel suites.
The 2.5 acre development site of the $200 million project known as Villa Magna is located at 1201 Brickell Bay Drive. It is the last bayfront parcel in Brickell. The previous plan called for 1,120 total condominium units.
The article mentions that local hospitality experts feel that competing with nearby luxury hotel brands such as the Mandarin Oriental and the Four Seasons Hotel would be a bad move by Mr. Hollo.
It will be interesting to see what becomes of this valuable parcel of land in the coming months. I will keep you posted as new information becomes available.
