If you want to carry out material requirements planning for a material, then you first have to specify certain parameters for this material in the material master record. These MRP parameters can be divided into five areas:General Parameters Parameters Dependent on the MRP Procedures Parameters for Scheduling Parameters for Calculating the Lot Size Parameters for Storage Location MRP
Before you can carry out material requirements planning for a material, you must first of all maintain the parameters in the material master record which the system requires in order to carry out this task. This is done as described below:Starting from the menu screen of the material master, select Material ® Create general. Enter the material type, allocate it to an industry sector and press EN
There are parameters in the material master record that you can determine for every material, independent of MRP and lot-sizing procedures:Procurement typeThe procurement type is automatically suggested by the system depending on the material type. However, you can overwrite the default value. A material can be produced in-house, it can be externally procured or it can be partly produced in-house
As well as the general parameters described above, you must also determine the MRP procedure in the material master record according to which the material is to be planned. You do this by specifying the so-called MRP type.MRP types and meaning: VB Manual reorder point planning:with manual calculation of the reorder leveland safety stock VM Automatic reorder point planning procedure
In scheduling, the system determines the basic dates for all the order proposals that it created during material requirements planning. To be able to plan these order proposals exactly, the following parameters are important when you are maintaining the material master record:Scheduling margin keyThe scheduling margin key is used to allocate floats to the material for calcualating basic dates and
Once you have specified an MRP procedure and the appropriate parameters for this particular procedure, you must also enter the procedure according to which the system is to calculate the lot size for material requirements planning. Depending on the selected lot-sizing procedure, you can/must specify either one or several of the parameters given in the following Table:Parameters required for lot-si
If you want the system to treat certain storage locations as independent units during a planning run, then you must specify this in the material master record for the storage locations in question. To do this, you must enter the storage location in question in the Organizational Levels/Profiles pop-up window and then you must enter the following parameters in the MRP 3 data screen:MRP indicatorBy

In the third case, you can have a combination of manual and automatic model selection: you specify a model and set the system so that it additionally checks historical values for a seasonal pattern or trend.Possible combinations that you can choose are as follows:You enter a trend model for the forecast model and then let the system check historical data for a seasonal pattern by setting the model
Model initialization is the process of specifying the necessary model parameters, such as the basic value, the trend value and the seasonal indices for the selected forecast model. In each case, initialization occurs during the first forecast for a material. It must also be carried out in cases of structural interruption, that is, if the existing forecast becomes invalid.Which model parameters a

Use If you want to use company-specific criteria (instead of dates) to determine when changes are effective, you can use parameters to define effectivity. The standard R/3 System provides 2 effectivity types (time period and serial number range).For example, effectivity type time period lets you react quickly to seasonal changes in the market by defining a change to a product (such as color or extras) for a specific time period. If you want to use other, company-specific effectivity conditions, you can define your own effectivity types in the R/3 System. Integration In Customizing for Engineering Change Management, parameters (such as material or serial number) are defined and assigned to an effectivity type. These functions are termed parameter effectivity. The change master record
If a warehouse that stores article has to be ready for delivery at all times, then there has to be a high level of safety stock in this warehouse, as forecasting error cannot always be ruled out. This would also entail a high level of warehousing costs. The level of safety stock depends on the service level you select, on the replenishment lead time and on the accuracy of the forecast.In order to keep the safety stock and therefore the storage costs as low as possible, the RP controller usually specifies a service level for each article. From a mathematical point of view, the service level represents an organization's ability to avoid a shortfall occurring during replenishment lead time.If you opt for a relatively high service level, then the safety stock level calculated by the sy
The system carries out an ex-post forecast for the initial forecast if more past values are available than are required/are to be used for initialization. It also carries out the ex-post forecast during parameter optimization, model initialization and for evaluating the accuracy of the forecast.The system only carries out the ex-post forecast for subsequent forecasts when there is a gap of more than one forecast period between the last forecast date and the current forecast date. For technical reasons, the series of forecast values must be recalculated for every period. Since this requires a lot of time and effort for articles which are forecast daily or weekly, you can now make up for periods which you have "omitted" from the forecast. This means that it is no longer necessary to carry
Parameters:These are located in the URL immediately after a question mark and followed by an equal sign and a return value, known as name=value. Parameters indicate to a database what page a user is viewing. For example, www.mysite.com/product/widget.aspx?=1234. Here, widget is the product and 1234 is the product identifier.This comes up a lot when using search functions embedded in websites. Be sure if you're going to share the link with a customer or through a bulk email campaign to copy everything after the question mark. Sometimes if you just paste a link into an email or document and rely on the auto hyper link feature to add the link, it won't add anything after the question mark. Be sure to use the menus of the program to insert the correct URL into the hyper link.____Glossary

In this study, the use of a D-cycloserine cognitive enhancer in combination with cognitive-behavioral therapy facilitated the treatment of OCD, finding differences between D-cycloserine and placebo on the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale at mid-treatment and depression at posttreatment. The most important thing in your betta tank is the water. If your fish tank has water that is too hot or cold, too acidic or full of chemicals, or unbalanced in any other way, your fish could die. In order to properly maintain your tank and keep your fish healthy and happy, you will need to test the tank’s water on a regular basis. You should start by checking the aquarium’s temperature with a tank thermometer. It is important to check the temperature of your tank because if the temperature is too high or too low, it can leave your fish vulnerable to disease. Since temperature fluctuations are dangerous to betta fish, be sure to keep your tank away from any drafty areas, such as windows, doors or heater vents. Keep the temperature for betta at a steady level of 75-80 degrees F as th

I just downloaded a sample from The Code Project and as usual spent 20 minutes cleaning up the code. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for the contributions and use them often. What bothers me is that many of what the industry considers "best practices" are simply ignored in these contributions. One of the most fundamental "best practices" is to check the validity of parameters. What's even more annoying is that it can be done in one line of code if you don't mind a little unusual line formatting. if (item == null) throw new ArgumentNullException("item");
Now that wasn't so hard?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Side note: Sure would be nice if C# allowed something like this:
item ?? throw new ArgumentNullException("item"); // Not valid!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strings are a bit more work.
if (string.IsNullOrEmpty(item))
{
throw (item == null)
? new ArgumentNu

I am not a huge .NET fan, but I am mature enough to overcome my personal likes and dislikes in a professional setting and use whatever is needed. I recently ran into a situation programming in C# that I needed to create a method that took it’s parameters by reference. Why would you want to do that? Well, a parameter passed by reference is… well a reference to the original memory location of the variable. This means that when you pass a parameter into a method by reference any changes made to the parameter within that method are preserved when the method goes out of scope. Ok, now we have that out of the way.
To create a method which takes a parameter by reference in C# you simply use the ref keyword in front of the parameter declaration. Easy! To illustrate this point I will use the standard swap method.
public void swap(ref int x, ref int y) {
int temp = x;
x = y;
y = temp;
}
To call this function I would have initially done the following:
int x = 5;
int y = 10;
s

Several wavelengths of laser energy have been used for hair removal, from visible light to near-infrared radiation. These lasers are usually defined by the lasing medium used to create the wavelength (measured in nanometers (nm)):• Argon: 488 or 514.5 nm (not used for hair removal anymore)• Ruby: 694 nm (not used for hair removal anymore; not safe on most skin types)• Alexandrite: 755 nm (most effective, but only safe on light skin)• Pulsed diode array: 810 nm (for light to medium type skin)• Nd:YAG: 1064 nm (for darker skin)Pulsewidth is an important consideration. It has been observed in some published studies that longer pulsewidths may be safer for darker skin. However, shorter wavelengths are more effective in removing hair.Spot size, or the width of the laser beam, affects treatment. Theoretically, the width of the ideal beam is about four times as wide as the target is deep. Hair removal lasers have a round spot about the size of your finger (8-18 mm). Larger spot size
This overview describes how security and controls can be implemented through system parameters. System parameters are used to maintain configuration over the operation of the SAP system. System parameters may define key settings for the whole system on which SAP runs, individual hosts systems (e.g. configuration for only one of many application servers) or the instances that are running on these servers. The majority of system parameters ensure that SAP operates effectively on the customer’s preferred hardware, operating system and database platforms. System parameters also control how SAP operates and provides system wide control over some aspects of Security. System parameters are set using transaction RZ10. To make the parameters globally effective set them in the default profile, DEFAULT.PFL. To make them instance-specific, you must set them in the profiles of each application server in your R/3 System. System parameters can be reviewed with transaction TU02 or from the standard
I assume that you properly went through my post on Using ref parameters, today I'm focussing on the out parameters.The out is short for output. When you pass an out parameter to a method, the compiler checks whether the passed parameters are initialised in the method. In the following example I have passed two arguments using the out keyword. Since, I haven't initialised the parameters in the method swap(), the compiler doesn't compile and returns two errors as follows:private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { int a = 10; //Two variables int b = 20; //values before swapping Console.WriteLine("value of a = " + a + " value of b = " + b); //Calling the static swap method. //notice here that the two parameters are passed using the out keyword fun.swap( out a,out b); //values after swapping. Console.WriteLine("value of a = " + a + " value of b = "
You may have noticed when you pass an argument to a method, the method creates a copy of the argument to use it in its code block, irrespective whether the argument is a value type or reference type. To understand this concept clearly, review the following example carefully, in this example two arguments are passed to the static method, swap().class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { int a = 10; //Two variables int b = 20; //values before swapping Console.WriteLine("value of a = " + a + " value of b = " + b); //Calling the static swap method. fun.swap( a , b); //values after swapping. Console.WriteLine("value of a = " + a + " value of b = " + b); Console.Read(); } class fun { //static method swap, takes two arguments. public static void swap( int a
Now here’s something you would like to know! I had compiled all the Google Talk parameters’ list so that I could share it with you everyone, but when I was about to post them a few days ago, somehow I lost the text file in which I had stored them. While going through TechTreak’s posts, I came accross a topic which had these parameters, that refreshed my memory and I have once again collected them to post here.
To use any of these, you’ll first need to create a new Google Talk shotcut (don’t use the default one). Then right-click it and select Properties. In there, look for Target: and add the any of the following in the end of the target to try them out.
