Hey!Quick reminder.I, Bee Lastname, am NOT a doctor, nurse, physician's assistant, physical therapist, radiologist, candy striper (or Candy the Stripper who moonlights as a hooker) or any other titled profession you can think of that needs to see you without pants.I am simply an overworked business office chick who demands money from insurance companies and lawyers. Just because I have the dual

First of all, let me get this out of the way. Leiter is a funny, goofy dude. I love him announcing a game, when it’s NOT with Michael Kay. I like Leiter.
Michael Kay, as much as I give him his respect for not being a homer broadcaster, he’s awful. He asks questions to his counterparts [...]

Michael Jackson may get into trouble the next time he performs in Italy! He he. The Italian supreme court has outlawed men from touching their genitals in public. Crotch-grabbing is an ancient superstitious habit in Italy that is believed to ward off the evil eye - it is traditional for men to do it if passed by a hearse or when discussing serious illness or disasters. However, the supreme

In a statement to local media, Director Fancypants of the School of Writing and Rhetoric confirmed reports that grammar instruction is to be terminated in undergraduate writing courses.
"Learning the rules of grammar does not make you a better writer," he said at this morning’s press conference. Pulling out a hefty tome, he pointed to a highlighted section citing empirical evidence to
Cat declawing is now illegal in West Hollywood. An ordinance against it has been upheld by a state appeals court. Cat declawing was sited as a “cruel and unusual procedure”, and veterinarians in West Hollywood face possible criminal charges if they perform the surgery. West Hollywood is the only jurisdiction in California that has such a law - it’s a very interesting part of town with quite a diversity of extroverted people.
So the Cat Lady is safe there on so many levels.
On Wednesday, the Washington state House passed a law by a 59-38 vote stating that residents are no longer allowed to use hand-held cell phones while driving. In an emergency situation, the enforcement of the new law may be waved. If caught on your cell phone while you are driving, you'll reap yourself a $101 fine. Read more about Washington's cell phone law here.I think it is very unsafe to talk while you are driving, unless you are on a bluetooth or other device that doesn't need to be held. There are a good many times that I've seen accidents or close calls caused by people talking on their phones as they speed along the roadways. I feel this is a good law and will more than likely save many a life. Here's to your safety!Tony

Japanese consumers are in for a bad time. Buying and selling second-hand equipment is a norm for the Japanese, who take care of their electronics leaving them in good condition. Still, manufacturers aren't too crazy about the fact that this activity endangers profits, or rather stagnates it. To keep manufacturers happy, the Japanese government has passed a bill making all electronic goods sold before 2001 illegal on the second hand market. The government's excuse for the new ruling are security reasons. Who's security? Consumer's or management's?
The most tragic thing about the recent wave of political correctness is that people who stick up for themselves and the basic rights of man end up being tarred with the same brush as the sometimes despicable people who are scapegoated as the reason for the loss of rights.
Take this story for example.
Criminal memoirs to be outlawed - Scotland's justice minister says plans to ban memoirs written by convicted criminals are being drawn up. [BBC News]
On the face of it, it is easy enough to nod your head and say 'fair enough too, they shouldn't profit from crime'.
What happened to the concept of rehabilitation though? If a man does something wrong, gets caught and goes to gaol, so long as he finishes his sentence, surely he is somewhat entitled to consider that he has paid the debt to society?
