No not Vista. The new one they’re developing right now where they learn from all of the mistakes they made when doing Vista. Bet they take out loads of frilly stuff and try and return to a robust o/s specialising in file handling and security only. Imagine, an o/s that works.Â
Seems that Vista can go to manufacturing provided there are no more than 500 outstanding defects. So guess what we’ll be doing for the next year to 18 months, discovering these defects. No doubt Vista SP1, probably due January 2008, will cure a lot of these ills and raise some more in case we get defect withdrawal symptons.
