Sunday morning was a doozy for one certain soap opera star; Nathaniel Marston, who plays Dr. Michael McBain on One Life to Live, was out of control and beat up three random people in NYC. Marston, who has had a history of anger management issues, having been arrested in 1999 for punching an ATM, went on a rampage, after what seemed to be a fight with a taxi driver, allegedly assaulting one man with a crate and breaking another’s leg. Police suspect that Nathaniel seemed to be under the influence of narcotics, perhaps cocaine, and that he resisted arrest, fighting off the cops. He was charged with two counts each of felony assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon as well as one count of resisting arrest. He was taken to Bellevue hospital, where he was labeled an emotionally disturbed person. Sources state that the actor will most likely have lost his job at OLTL. I am very appalled lately at the character of Viki- she is almost unrecognizable nowadays. She continues to be used and stepped on by people and mostly those in her family. Her reasons for siding with Natalie are not substantial and she lacks a backbone- not the Viki I grew to love. The new head writer better change Viki because my once favorite character is sinking very low on my favorites list. I am all for the new Cristian/Sarah romance- she makes him more tolerable, she plays off of him so well. She is so fresh and spunky and truly mostly what she says comes from her heart. What is even better is that she has more attitude than Cristian-she brings the life out of him. It is hard to like the monotone Cristian and Sarah makes him a little more enjoyable. So Tate got what was coming to him today- he plead guilty and is going to jail for awhile. It was good to see that he will be given even more pushishment in jail by Luther. The Tommy storyline is heating up and John knows the truth, I am just about ready for it to end. It is horrible that Mike and Marcie could even have a claim on Tommy, I know they provided him with a loving home. They just need to give Todd a chance at being a father again and a way not play into Spencer’s hand. Although he is dead, Michael is just doing his bidding by keeping the secret and that’s stupid being Spencer killed his dad. This soap is so confusing and sometimes it makes my head swirl. Todd and Blair were great today, the chemistry is undeniable between the two actors. Those scenes were wonderfully acted and I really hope they are together for awhile. The Spencer murder mystery is heating up- I have to say that I am interested because of the possibilities of the guilty. Marty did not do it, it is never the obvious suspect- I mean even Asa could be the killer but I highly doubt that. It was nice to get a guy’s night out scene today- discussing their women and life in general. Bo barely keeping a straight face when discussing Paige’s departure- having a good attitude about it. He’ll find someone else and when I say that I mean Nora- they belong together. And then there were the girl’s night out scenes, Nora rocked in those scenes. Massive relationship foreshadowing in today’s show Talia/Antonio and a Bo/Nora/Lindsay triangle. I cannot be on Michael’s side in this whole baby storyline- he is just proving how unfit a parent he is by not telling Todd of the indiscretion. Just because Todd has a shady past does not mean he doesn’t have a right to raise his own son. He has changed a little

What great family scenes with Todd, Blair, Jessica, and Sarah, telling him of all the new developments since he was gone. And it was even better that Sarah apologized to Todd and that he didn’t make too much of it. It was the good ole’ Todd we saw today, I’m so glad that he is back. I love how in Adrianna and Rex’s scenes he calls her smart, when she is the total opposite in all actuality. And it is even funnier when she said,”I like that you said smart first,” maybe that was an ad-libed joke about the behavior of her character. Natalie is acting so weird lately, but today she was tolerable. It was well written and showed this raw and unforced feeling between them that made them stand out. Her intentions are not as innocent as she claims, she is just trying to mess with John. It’s so nice to see someone on his side because he is alone in this fight. Other things on today’s show were okay, but not a bad show at all.

Of all the actors that I saw on today’s show, the one that stood out was Eddie Alderson(Matthew), he displayed such a maturity and range, especially in his scenes with Cole. I hope he goes the route of his acting sister and is raised naturally on OLTL, instead of SORASing because this kid has got the room to become a great character and a highly respected actor. Although the OPP story has been on full speed, it was ironic that Vincent saved Tate from dying. I like when the ending is a prison sentence, because then there won’t be the stupid back from the dead storylines that defy the bounds of reality. He’ll serve time behind bars like any other terrorist in the real world will. This Spencer murder mystery is heating up and I have a theory that has a possibility of occuring. I think that he was murdered by multiple people, ala Murder on the Orient Express, several stabbed him once and with each one that came, he slowly started to die. But for that to happen they wi

Man oh man, does Michael look guilty; the you know what is gonna hit the fan when they find out Tommy’s paternity. He’ll probably be the one to spill the beans, wanting the right the huge wrong that he made. I could see a huge custody battle going on between the Mannings and McBains; the whole town divided on who should win-should make for some good drama. It was so nice to see Viki in scenes with her brother, whom she didn’t give a damn if he was missing or even dead. Is it that hard to get Viki just at least as concerned for Todd as she was for her Jessie. She has the money to hire people to search for him, why not do it-that was a huge flaw in that storyline. Looks like there will be a quick resolution to the David story, being that his last airdate is tomorrow. It is a shame because I was looking forward to him sticking around as the resident source of comic relief in Llanview. What a relief that Todd is finally back, Miles is finally going down. It seems this harrowing experience has not destroyed his spirit, he is still the same old Todd we are used to. Unfortunately, soon he will have lingering feelings for Evangeline, but eventually he’ll get over them, like she’s coming back anytime soon. How great were those scenes when Viki found out about David’s deception, it a perfect showing of raw emotion from Erika. When Clint came in to blab to Viki, the transformation of her feelings was so perfect, now that is how you collect Emmys. When she tore into him about how she thought he has changed, I was moved by her portrayal of her character, way to go Erika. Tate was so creepy today, his prying into Layla’s life was so spine tingling. I cannot wait until he is gone for good, because his character, to me, does not do evil well. Finally the cat is out of the bag, Marty confessed; I am relieved now Miles doesn’t have any blackmail ammo. But of course, she won’t be guilty; the killer of Spencer really had some rage against him and she only knew him for that little while. I guess we’ll have to wait and see where this story ends. The Viki/Clint/Sarah/Cris/Rex scenes were good and it was time she revealed herself; when her family finds out what role she had in Todd’s disappearance she will be disowned. It’s only the proper justice for her; but it bothers me that Rex seems so self-righteous in her telling about her role in Todd’s disappearance, he did something even worse, hiding his child. It just doesn’t seem right, he’ll get ostracized for what he did. The Brittany/Starr scenes were fine; they just don’t play off each other role like a Viki/Dorian or Nora/Lindsay, but then again they’re only teens. So Cole’s role in the Todd switcheroo will be

It is becoming even more apparent like they are trying to make Miles a clone of Spencer’s, there is very little redemption for him. I could see him paired up with Natalie in a hot romance, but the chances of him succeeding as a viable character have been squashed. He is stringing Cole along as his little assistant, Cole needs to do the right thing, John will not let Marty go to jail, at least I think so. Adriana is such a dunce, today should have been the day she found out he was racist. It was a blatant show of his real feelings when he was concerned about the funeral director’s heritage. She doesn’t even deserve Rex, he is much, much better when he is not moaning for his lost love with Adriana. Why not give Tuc Watkins(David) a contract, he is so much fun and provides such a good sense of humor to the canvas, he is golden. Wasn’t it strange to you that Todd, who hasn’t been on his feet in at least a month, can just get up and walk. It’s like that dog gave life to him or something, that would never happen in real life. That is the staple of soap operas, miracle cures and donors that turn out to be your ex or a sleazy con man. As Jessica’s health continues to decline, Antonio and Nash arrive at the last minute. Meanwhile, the police receive a threat about a white woman being made impure and realize that it’s a threat against the hospital because of Jess’ surgery. They sweep the hospital and find a bomb which they diffuse. What they don’t realize is that there’s another bomb in the vent right above the Operating Room! The bomb goes off and all of Antonio’s doctors are injured. Now, the only person who has access to him is Nash… This is just too many twists in one week. They can’t decide how to end the stupid arsonist story so now TPTB thought a bomb would be an option. For crying out loud. After she cheated on him, how can Jess now risk Antonio’s life? And Marty freaks out and begins to think that she may have killed Spencer! Talk about irony and the twists od all twists. Hah. If you live in the south east of England and are looking for something to do over the weekend, the One Life Live lifestyle event starts today, 2 March 2007 and runs until Sunday. The show is billed as providing ideas and inspiration to explore options leading to a more fulfilling life. There are six zones, take a break, relocate, life balance, retrain, be your own boss and life begins at. The admission fee is £12 if you book in advance, £15 on the door. I don’t know if I would pay this admission fee. I am sure that the exhibitors pay a fair whack to be there but then they will be expecting to drum up business by exhibiting. The event is sponsored by the likes of the magazine Eve and Wanderlust a travel company. If you do visit the show I’d be interested to know your opinion. Was it good value. It could be better to pay to get in and attend a great show than get in free to a poor event.
