I couldn't sleep too well last night and ended giving up at about 5:30am. So I went down to my studio and finished this one. I have been studying Whistler's nocturne paintings, (some of the best I have ever seen) and I decided to do these two to see what I had learned. I am rather satisfied with this small 5"x7" (waiting for Day Break). The little one 3.5"x2.5" (Night Fishing) was a warm-up. It ha

It had been a long, rough evening at work. The restaurant had been far busier than usual for a Thursday night and it was one of those nights when, as a chef, you just have to wonder whether you shouldn't have gone into a line of work that's a tad less stressful-- something like air traffic control or bomb disposal.I was very relieved when I could finally split around ten-thirty, leaving my assista

I just bought my very first Silhouette Nocturne Series book. Behind the times a bit, I'm afraid, lol. The one I got is Touch of the wolf by Karen Whiddon. I'm only a chapter into it and I love it! When I visited eHarlequin I was all but slobbering with the discovery of this particular series and promised that I would have a submission to them by the end of next month. To my surprise while shopping tonight, I found the series! I knew I could find them at Walden's or Border's but I haven't had the time so I'm ecstatic that I found them! Gonna get me some "nocturnal" reading done....hehehehe.
