Different Ways To Add Variety To The Mundane Photos!
Every photographer knows how to click photographs! How about adding variety to the mundane photography! If you are having a photo shoot, do you like all your photos to look the same? You give a different style to each photo and do not want any photo to match with other photo. So, as [...]

Microblogs: No Tidbit Too Trivial, No Moment Too Mundane
In cyberspace, no status update is too small to share with friends, family and strangers, including this: In Franklin, Tenn., an office worker reports that he just shuffled over from his desk to the couch. A biker in Orange, Calif., is headed to Starbucks. Elsewhere in California, someone just got coffee up his nose. You [...]

      The mundane
Well, sorry, folks. I've had no time for you lately. I miss you, though! I'd much rather be blogging than what I'm doing.I haven't even had a chance to respond to all of your latest brilliant comments and to admit how horribly outdated my fashion knowledge is − but really, I think perhaps that my shabby photos didn't do those wigs justice. Did anyone try enlarging those photos for a closer look?

"The art of realizing meaningful coincidence in the seemingly mundane with mystical or esoteric significance"
From: The Cryptic Cosmology of Synchromysticism   "I needed something to explain a way of investigating subjects with synchronicities and the word seemed to fit... My biggest inspiration for this kind of thinking and investigating came from Goro Adachi at Etemenanki. Goro calls his research multi-contextual." The synchromysticism research Jake Kotze publishes on his websites include information-dense videos, artwork and articles punctuated by images illustrating various mystic/pop culture linkages. His articles and videos usually focus on esoteric symbols or memes (possibly stemming from a collective unconscious mind) reoccurring throughout a wide range of sources, especially mass media. Such symbols include numbers, words, archetypes, shapes and various visual motifs or p

Entrepreneur Effectiveness alert - The curse & bliss of emails; mundane but important
This topic may not be sexy or intellectually challenging, BUT, I think it is important. As emails go, I think we are confusing effectiveness and speed.I get in excess of 250 emails a day. So often important issues may be ignored due to volume and unimportant matters may take a lot of time. And I am not the only one inundated with so much volume. The problem is that simple issues that can be resolved in minutes with a quick personal conversation actually take multiple emails. Important issues that require real discussion is boiled down to snippets of responses – the result is that decisions are most likely not as comprehensive and often based on either partial information or influenced by the desire to quickly get to a yes / no answer. We achieve speed of exchange but in a lot of situations lose effectives. I can’t count the number of occasions when efforts are duplicated because some one acted on partial information exchanges in emails and had to re-do things. Now, add the complicat

Just a General Update - Mundane Weekend in a Pagan Household
Well …… the plan this weekend was to: Go to the school book fair on Friday night with the girls, take time off Saturday from cooking and homework to go pick pumpkins.  On Sunday the plan was to carve said pumpkins upon my return home from work. However, on Friday my knee started acting up again and it was raining.  This is the third flare up I’ve had since July and at this point we are thinking arthritis since the offending knee makes crunchy sounds during the attack and because it isn’t always the same knee.  While I am grateful that my prescribed anti-inflammatories do seem to help, they also tend to trigger a flare up in my abdominal pain.  This may seen like a poor trade off but my tolerance for the later is much higher as it is something I am more used to.  Anyway, between the rain and the pain I was a bad mommy and skipped the book fair and asked GamerDude to take the girls to buy pumpkins on Sunday while I am at work.  The plan is still to carve

      Using the Mundane
Millersville University and California State University, Fullerton, co-host a website called The Journal of Mundane Behavior·, a journal devoted to “those aspects of our everyday lives that typically go unnoticed by us.” The articles cover topics like paperclips, cell phones, and bubble wrap. On the surface, these subjects are boring to most people, but even those ordinary things we take for granted each day can be valuable sources of writing ideas. Many people think they can’t write if they don’t have unusual or exotic lives. They’ve never left their hometown, nor do they have glamorous jobs. Their families are pretty ordinary and without the conflicts that become topics of shows like Dr. Phil and Jerry Springer. You don’t have to live exotic lives to be able to write. Flannery O’Connor said if we’ve survived our childhoods, we have enough material to write about forever. Many published authors like Eudora Welty and Raymond Carver wrote stories about basic human condit

      On Photographs Of Mundane Things
What is it about the photograph that makes the mundane so interesting? Why do we hang these two dimensional representations of the world in our homes and carry them in our wallets? Our obsession with the photograph is as old as the thing itself. These objects of our affection become irreplaceable heirlooms passed from one generation to the next. What then, makes a photograph art? What is the distinction between a memento and a museum? What part, if any, does intent really play? Intent aside, the camera will always see more than the naked eye. It is those details that give the photograph such immense weight and power. The printed image simply gives those fleeting moments permanence. Tags: Art And Photography, Black And White Photographs

Mountain biking and Mexican food - the mundane details of my life
I just want to mention that I returned from the mountain biking trail without losing a single drop of blood. For me, this is a personal best. I have scars from every single mountain bike ride over the past 2 years. I’m not a very experienced rider–I go a handful of times every year on [...]

Sometimes it takes a catalyst from outside to remind us of what we already have inside. Recently someone sent me data for Singapore, and I was surprised that someone else showed interest in this mundane area. It appears that we did this last year. Chris, one of my oldest young friends and astrology student still maintains a strong interest in this area, and I urged him last year to start this

oh you know,i think i miss the mundane stuff most.
i would love to go to XXXXXXXXXXX with ya! also, i know i'm far away, but i'm always here to talk to. ya know with all this distance i've had time to really think about our relationship (mostly my fuck ups)i egret something. when we were xxxxxxxxx-ing, you had that friend that drove us there and back. i was not the most diplomatic when talking about him to you. i was angry and i didn't do a good job of explaining why. i really can't remember your friends name so i'll call him bob. i wasn't angry because of just you, but about people's interactions in general. see, i think in many ways i've changed a lot over the past few years (i know you can relate) and mostly i feel like my friends haven't changed with me, but far more offensive, is that they haven't supported my change. i can't speak for now, but i know around that time that you were really struggling with the fact that your friends no longer came around becaue you weren't the social center anymore. i know you had been
