      Missionary Impossible
The mission, should these cock-sucking sexy agents choose to accept it, is to bang the fuck out of any ficks that may arise by any and all means necessary. Except the missionary position, because we're tired of that already!!

MISSIONARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS: NEW RELIGIOUS STRATEGY
Things have changed drastically now but for the first couple of decades after Independence, Christian missionary schools and colleges were the best and often the only English medium schools and colleges available in most parts of the country. Naturally, progressive parents chose to send their children to these institutions. Due to a combination of many factors, some such institutions, like St Step

      The Missionary Position
Tom Quinn finishes his series on Mormonism with a treatise on the most visible aspect of the faith: the shirt-and-tie clad missionaries who always seem interrupt dinner, naps and important phone calls. No discussion of Mormonism, even one as aimless and amorphous as this, would be complete without mentioning the most visible—and arguably most annoying—aspect of the LDS Church: the missionaries

As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." - John 20:21 A missionary is someone sent by Jesus Christ just as He was sent by God. The great controlling factor is not the needs of people, but the command of Jesus. The source of our inspiration in our servic

      Cowboy Missionary Activities
Loved Of The LORD, as I go along I will drop in different activities that a Cowboy Missionary find themselves doing, this post being one. You might find this bizarre, yet it makes a general point to what follows. While ministering in our own ‘Hood’ (Neighborhood back Home) some of the homeboys would tell me that they were going to a different town to get away from the influence of their peers and the supply of their addiction that was always stumbling them. Nevertheless, when I would see them months or years later, I would hear the same stories repeatedly. Finding themselves in a different place it was only hours, if not minutes that they would hook up with the same type of crowd. This must be typical with almost any kind or type of crowd. Online Missionary Success (Part 2)
Recently, I wrote about a friend a made on lds.net who joined the Church a while ago, but was driven out by her mother (of another faith). She always retained a deep (though tender) testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. She contacted me through lds.net and my blog (Truth is Restored) and asked me many questions about the Church and it’s teachings. I have been following her progress and steps backs towards the Church.Earlier this week, I had been thinking about how she was doing and I wrote to check up on her. Following is a paraphrase of her response:“Hey Rusty, guess what ? My mom is moving out, she just cant take it that I am LDS. I wish her all the luck! My husband is going to church with me and said yesterday (all on his own, out of no where) that he was thinking about joinin

The next day, I had more questions from my new friend (I have been getting a lot of questions lately from people curious about the Church). One of her first messages shared her past history with the Church (I have quoted it mostly word for word):“Hi Rusty.Thank you so much for answering my question….So far, the little bit of info I have acquired about the Mormon beliefs has been answering my questions that nobody else (other religions) has been able to. First The Passport and then receiving a letter of invitation from some legal entity in the Country you are requesting to visit. This letter was from a group of young Belorussian Christain men that Patrick had put together for this purpose and for getting "humanitarian Aid" into Minsk, for the Ministry. The group had to be made up of Nationals only. Russia was easy and the Russian travel agency in Hollywood had it all dialed in. The Travel Agency sent my Passport to Russian Embassy in San Francisco and because all the "T"s crossed and "I"s dotted (Naturally for a … … fee) was back in a couple days. Then "I" sent the Passport to The Belarusian Embassy in DC with Letter of invitation and two weeks later received the (Torn) empty envelope . The Moscow experience for the Saws (I need to give them a last name for continuity.) is a story in itself. I will pick that up later. Remember that they are on their way to Moldova (Former USSR) in the cold of Winter and they make it as far as Minsk, the Capital of The Republic of Belarus. (Trivia = White Russia.) Jamie (Lets give them all a name.) the wife and Mother acquires a position in a Private business that provides a service to Diplomats & Dignitaries. I will mention ‘Tent Makers’ below. Patrick (Not his real name) is a full time Missionary that Ministers to anyone who will stand still long enough to hear the message. This group is about 75-80 % late teens & young adults, tho there are families and even singular Grannies & Gramps there too. Babushkas and Dadushkas. (Sp?) Do You Have What it Takes to be a Business Missionary?
Traditional avenues of missionary work are continually being closed off to those who wish to preach the gospel. The Business as Mission Network has been promoting what they call tentmaking, which, from what I can gather, pulls from the example of Paul and expands it to fullest potential. The apostle Paul traveled the Roman Empire and supported himself by making tents. So in some way, you could say that his tentmaking was critical in preaching the gospel, as it was a key enabler. I wonder how many extra markets and areas Paul had access to by having a legitimate, money-making trade? Now expand on this concept. What if your particular brand of tentmaking could give poor people jobs, or in many cases, give them the tools and training to become tentmakers themselves? What if your brand of tentmaking had the potential to plant the roots of prosperity in an impoverished land? And all the while, you could preach the kingship of Jesus Christ to people who would not have heard it through

Giving New Definition To The Term 'Missionary Position'
Um....is this....is this..uh...godly?The fine Mormons in Utah have grown tired of going door to door trying to save our sorry souls....they apparently also got tired of wearing shirts. A new calendar for 2008 features 12 Mormon missionaries going topless to benefit Habitat for Humanity and The Salvation Army and a couple other causes. Granted...you could find more risque postcards at a Duane Reade in the Hamptons, but the fact that Mormons are now doing this is a shock to my system. Some of these dudes are hot though...I wouldn't mind going into the colonial woods and "burying" some "tablets" with some of these dudes, if I aint bein' too subtle. You can't smoke, drink, or watch tv.....but god love 'em, they're fine with sexualizing their missionaries to make a buck or two. This one summer I worked at a mortgage company with an ex-prostitute and a 20 year old Mormon. We should've had our own tv show. The Mormon was so hot though....I'd sit there pretending to listen to Kizzy (the

      The Missionary Christian
What does it mean to be a Christian? I’ve asked different people at different times throughout my ministry what they thought it meant to be a Christian. I have always been amazed at all the different answers. To go to church, to do good things, to believe in Jesus, to read your Bible regularly, to be part of a community of Christ-like believers and the list goes on. I have asked myself the same question and wrestled with the answer. I have a churchy bible answer, (I won’t take space for that, you probably already know it too) but what does God’s living word and His life-breathing Spirit tell us about being a Christian. Let me give you my short answer. There are many scriptures I could use but Luke 9:23 seems to always capture the heart of it for me. “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up this cross daily and follow me. (The me, being Jesus) You could answer the question what does it mean to be a Christian in many ways, but it always c

The Greatest Missionary Ever: Jesus Christ
Jesus knew His mission. He knew why the Father sent Him into the world. He aligned Himself with this mission. Everything that He did, everything that He taught, everything that is recorded of His life in the Gospels was focused on accomplishing the mission for which He was sent. At the end of His life and ministry, He prayed to the Father, “I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do” (John 17:4). Mission accomplished. Jesus was a missionary. This application of the term missionary to Jesus Christ may sound strange, but Jesus exemplifies in the truest sense what it means to be a missionary. Most Christians understand that a missionary is one who has been sent with the gospel to a foreign people to lead them to faith in Christ and among other things, multiply disciples, and establish churches. Jesus was sent to earth by the Father with the gospel. He was not sent “to condemn the world, bur rather that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:

Jessica Simpson Dishes on the Missionary Position
Jessica Simpson wants to talk about her missionary position. But don't believe that Nick Lachey's ex is ready for any kind of a tell all. According to the New York Daily News it is more of a confession of a real mission and a wannabe adoption. "My father was a minister, so growing up, we'd go on a missionary trip every summer," Jessica Simpson tells Self magazine about her work with the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Mexico."The first time I went to that orphanage, I was 16. I remember holding this baby who was found in a dumpster. I wanted to adopt him right then and there. I was like, 'Dad, can I have him for my birthday, please?'"Obviously that didn't happen, but perhaps she was the inspiration for the over the top adoption ratio by celebrities now. Jess was a wannbe Angelina before being Angelina was cool.

      missionary travel site
I have a lot of admiration and respect for missionaries. This is especially so when I had visited a missionary couple years ago in Davao, Philippines. Besides, our church supports many missionaries and their families in many third world countries. So I am glad to discover a missionary travel site that is created specially to help this group of ardent servants of the Lord, who obey the call and serve with all their hearts to spread the Good News to those who need the gospel. Golden Rule Travel is run by a group of Christians who helps to negotiate cheap airfares and travel deals for missionaries. They who have been through this missionary journey know what it is to travel with limited resources when on the field. Find out more about the site and its 24/7 service at http://goldenruletravel.com.
