The whole technorati authority system is just not working anymore, and it is just not that authoritative anymore. We all watch our blogs and want to know who is linking to them, we watch our logs, we check our on line systems, and we want to see who is referring to us so that we can make a determination as to what is spam and what is not spam links as we write what we want to write about.
This is where technorati authority comes in, while we do track where people come from in a number of ways, it really looks like technorati is missing about 25% of the links to us from other blogs. Real blogs, not splogs, not DIY Get it here kinds of blogs, but ones that we know like Trenchmice, and other folks like Ask The Admin.
While we technically doubt the Web 2.0 process of social networks, digging, reddit, and others because we have not seen a pay off, we are seeing another performance issue when it comes to technorati that Google blog search does not seem to suffer from.

Bob Carter published a paper titled “The Myth of Dangerous Human-Caused Climate Change”, in which he purports to dismantle the so called ‘alarmist’ science of global warming. Part I is a fairly light introduction. Part II digs into Carter’s claim that we have no theory of climate and hence can’t deal with what climate information we do have.
