Just when we thought it would never happen again, it did. Another kid opens fire on his school killing 8 people. But this time there was more warning than anyone could imagine. This kid left videos on Youtube, his blog and other sites letting everyone know how he felt. It’s sad, that the teachers now comment that the kid was a “militant radical” and disturbed, but knowing that, they did nothing to help him before this. So what happened was that an 18-year-old student opened fire at a high school in on Wednesday leaving at least eight dead and wounding several others. Pekka-Eric Auvinen, the student believed to be responsible for the massacre at Jokela High, had posted several video messages on YouTube outlining his plans of the attack. The final death toll from the Jokela school massacre is seven pupils (five boys, two girls), the school principal, and the gunman himself, who died last night at Helsinki University Hospital (Correction: the victims were five boys, one girl, the school nurse, and the principal). Students have told how an armed teenager rampaged through a Finnish school shouting: "Revolution! Smash everything" before killing seven pupils, the principal and then fatally shooting himself. And an ex-girlfriend of Pekka-Eric Auvinen, 18, told local media she had been accused of causing the tragedy by dumping him. It has been a sad day here in Finland, very sad. There was a school massacre very close to my home. A young high school student opened fire at school killing 7 children and one teacher. It could have been the school of my kids, it was so near. Man, this world is so crazy. I am not going to post any metal videos today. Instead I keep my blog silent and think about those children who will not see the Christmas this year. Rest in peace.
