I received this survey through my email and I thought, "Am I a good listener?". So, let's find out.
You Are an Okay Listener
You try to be a good listener, and usually you are.
But some people are just so boring and difficult to listen to!
Your mind tends to wander during some conversations.
You are likely to space out a little or try to change the subject to something more interesting.

It seems everyone's thoughts are first that they were upset with Lars Larsen... but apparently that wasnt the case. I only find this a bit funny as no one was injured etc...
A disgruntled listener may be responsible for a car that crashed into the Newsradio 750 KXL studio Friday afternoon.
The driver backed the car into the radio building on Bancroft Street at about 1 p.m. and then drove away.

Your an excellent host, and its good to see such talent on BlogTalkRadio - where so many of the shows are poorly done.Your website is special too - so I'll be putting you on our PV friends roll. If you find us worthy, we'd be honored if you returned the favor. They say we are known by the souls we travel with - you and your site are valuable to spreadingthe word. Let's all gather together and create that momentum toward November 2008 that is so important if we want to remain free Americans.Shane,We are grateful for your kind remarks. Of course, we will link to your website. in fact, we are direct linking to you, adding you to the Truth Surge blog roll and adding you to our E-Mail by RSS. And, don't worry, as long as there are rabid, drooling left wing moon bats who need to be bitch slapped, you can count on the Moonbat slayers to be there. Thanks for your E-Mail
Jason from Pennsauken, NJ writes;I listened to the show called american truth warriors on october 9th. on the show you debated a congressman from vermont I think. I don't understand whyyou don't think that the person who gets the most votes should win. if we are a democracy then why shouldn't every vote count the same. also, i dont understandwhy you had to insult the man by calling him a liar and a communist.First of all, thank you for your question. The debate was with a State Representative, not a congressman. The difference is that a State Representative represents a district, to the State, whereas a Congressman represents a district to the Federal Government. On to your first question. The reason I don't ascribe to the one person-one vote system is that it is not how our country and our Constitution was founded. You see, Jason, the debate we are having now was held 200+ years ago. There were people that believed that a State's representation should be based solely on population
Our local NPR affiliate, WETS, is having its pledge drive. WETS is the only NPR station in a "red state" that airs Democracy Now! We have a listener support group to keep this program on the air, called DemocracyNowTricities. The reason this program needs a listener support group, is that there are many folks who want WETS to remove the program.Yesterday WETS aired a voicemail that came into the office. It was a colorful rant against WETS. In the voicemail, a woman goes on to say her name is "Hillary Socialist" and that she wants to "make a pledge of sixty trillion dollars [...] and give it to y'all for the socialist communist work that you do." You can read the story and listen to the audio on youtube. If you think DemocracyNow! is an important program to keep on the air, support WETS and DemocracyNow!

Some people understand better by listening, others by reading. Which are you? Do you know?As management guru Peter Drucker points out in his book, "Management Challenges for the 21st Century,†"Very few people even know that there are readers and there are listeners, and that very few people are both. Even fewer know which of the two they themselves are.â€Drucker illustrates the point with examples of recent U.S. Presidents: Eisenhower and Kennedy were readers. Eisenhower's staff made sure he was given questions from the press in writing before a briefing or conference. Kennedy, who knew he was a reader, assembled an admirable staff of brilliant writers such as Arthur Schlesinger and Bill Moyers, who wrote to him before discussing the memos in person.Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and Lyndon Johnson were listeners. FDR and Truman enjoyed oral give-and-take and were good at it. Lyndon Johnson, with years as a gifted parliamentarian, was - indeed, had to be - an excellent
