Hey, we were seated center stage right in front of the microphone, so we knew we were potential targets for Russell's smooth and engaging wit. I was mentally prepared. Not! I blurted out, “Czech European Cape Bretoner!”Did I just say that? Not even a sentence! Now it was out there for Russell Peters to mould into an interactive dialogue about “rouge children”, “dirty Czech talk” and “hitting people in the face with a fish if I was an angry Cape Bretoner”
by: Dianne WandruffFor hundreds of years, we've known that 'Laughter is the best medicine'. Laughter makes you feel good for a reason. The physiological effects on your body are amazing. For example: Laughter reduces levels of certain stress hormones. It provides a safety valve that shuts off the flow of stress hormones and the fight-or-flight compounds that come into action in times of trouble, or hostility or rage. Laughter boosts the immune system because when you're in a state of mirth, natural killer cells that destroy tumors and viruses increase. It basically brings balance to all the components of the immune system. Laughter can be a total body workout! Do you often feel exhausted after a bout of contagious giggling? This is because you have just had an aerobic workout. Blood pres

In 2006 researchers investigating the interaction between the brain, behavior, and the immune system found that simply anticipating a mirthful laughter experience boosted health-protecting hormones. Now, two years later, the same researchers have found that the anticipation of a positive humorous laughter experience also reduces potentially detrimental stress hormones. According to Dr Lee Berk, the study team's lead researcher of Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, CA, "Our findings lead us to believe that by seeking out positive experiences that make us laugh we can do a lot with our physiology to stay well." In their earlier work the researchers found that the anticipation of "mirthful laughter" had surprising and significant effects. Two hormones - beta-endorphins (the family of chemical

Funny Doctor Jokes - submitted by real medical "professionals" 1. A man comes into the ER and yells, "My wife's going to have her baby in the cab!" Seriousness is a deadly disease, Osho says. If you get it, your life is doomed. Oh! Have I been a little serious saying that? Seems so. Ok let me go around the other way. Laughter is a very good healer. It just not only heals our life but also makes our life feel light and happy. Think of life as a game and take it in game spirit, then you don’t have worries in your life. Life is a game. You have nothing to lose… even if you lose, it’s not real. It is just a part of the game…. You will get it somewhere else… Here is what Osho Rajeesh says on Laughter and Seriousness:
"Laughter is one of the things most repressed by society all over the world, in all the ages.Society wants you to be serious. Parents want their children to be serious, teachers want their students to be serious, the bosses want their servants to be serious, the commanders want their armies to be serious. Seriousness is required of everybody.
Laughter is dangerous and rebellious. When the teacher is teaching you
Our family likes to laugh. I’d go so far as to say our family loves to laugh. We might even be addicted to laughter. It’s a sickness but we’re getting help. One source of help is a Christian comedian we recently discovered by the name of Tim Hawkins. He has several cds and dvds for sale on his website. We watched all the clips and then searched for more on youtube.com and godtube.com. He has some hysterical songs online including, Things Not to Say to Your Wife, Kid Rock and Parents are People.
Disclaimer - humor is a personal expression and people differ on what they find amusing, appropriate and relevant. Tim Hawkins material is relatively family friendly and from a Christian source, but it is humor and therefore might benefit from previewing.

LeaveI urgently needed a few days off work, but I knew the Boss would not allow me to take a leave. I thought that maybe if I acted "CRAZY" then he would tell me to take a few days off. So, I hung upside down on the ceiling and made funny noises. My co-worker asked me what I was doing. I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb so that the Boss would think I was "CRAZY" and give me a few days off.A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked, "What are you doing?"I told him I was a light bulb.He said, "You are clearly stressed out. Go home and recuperate for a couple of days."I jumped down and walked out of the office. When my co-worker followed me, the Boss asked her, "And where do you think you're going?"(You're gonna love this.....)She said, "I'm going home too, I can't work in the dark."Lessons in LogicI was born intelligent-Education ruined me.…………………………………………………….Practice makes perfect…..But nobody's perfect…
