Ask Intelligent Questions When Being InterviewedOne of the worst mistakes currently being made by job applicants is not being prepared for an interview. It goes without saying that you will wear the appropriate clothes, try to get plenty of sleep the night before, show up on time and pay attention during your interview. However, will you answer the interviewer's questions intelligently and will you ask the right questions to spark the interest of the interviewers?Questions to askWhen you interview for a position with almost any company, there comes a time when the interviewer asks, do you have any questions. If you sit there and look bewildered and respond with a lame 'no, I don't have any questions' you are most likely sealing your fate before you finished the first interview. The object f

He wanted to know about how mbG has either helped me to realize or refine the my purpose. I believe, as Ron does, that purpose is one of the most important aspects of being a leader. It is out of purpose that one finds direction. Without purpose, we are simply wandering from random points to ran

Students from Islay High School are interviewed by American students from the Banks Stephens Middle School in Forsyth Georgia. They were able to do this using a webcam and projection screen to communicate with each other. Setting up a web conference is not rocket science but it's interesting to see that schools actually start to work together internationally, not being bothered by natural borders. The American students are now researching the history of Bowmore's Round Church while the Islay students research the history and measurements of Monroe County's courthouse.A quote from macon.com: For 26 minutes, a Banks Stephens Middle School class interviewed teenagers in another country about what it's like living on an island three hours from the mainland. They asked the strangers about attending school 400 yards from a round church, built that way so the devil could not hide in the corners. "I like their accent. It reminds me of Shrek," said Banks Stephens eighth-grader Andrew Stevic

Here are some of QA's that I liked, for the rest follow the link."Q: What other types of devices that aren't exactly cell phones could Android enable or run on? Rubin: The sky is the limit. This platform has been contemplated in different devices, from car navigation systems to set-top boxes to laptop computers and, of course, cell phones. One of our alliance partners, Intel, has a category device called MID, or Mobile Internet Device, which is somewhere between a cell phone and a PC. It's a large-display device meant to be primarily an Internet access device." Q: So, will there be a Google phone? Rubin: I'm going to say "no comment" on that. Q: Why did you pick Linux as the foundation for Android? Rubin: One of the advantages of Linux is,

I was interviewed by Keybank on goal setting for students but before you switch off and decide this is not relevant for you, it might well be!

1) Why is it important to set personal goals in order to succeed educationally?
Setting goals is an essential part of achieving “success” not only educationally but also in your life in general. The skill of goal-setting is something which should be taught to everyone from a young age. Setting goals encourages individuals to look at what they want to achieve, to create route maps to that success and to prioritise correctly.
Effective goal-setting requires the goal-setter to ask themselves “why is this important to me?” This is particularly important in education as many young peo

you will find it in your life."
A man was being interviewed for a job.
“Were you in the service?” ask the interviewer.
“Yes, I was a marine,” responded the applicant.
“Did you see any active duty?”
“I was in Vietnam for 2 years and I have a partial disability.”
“May I ask what happened?”
“Well, I had a grenade go off between my legs and I lost both testicles.”
“You’re hired. You can start Monday at 10 am.”
“When does everyone else start? I don’t want any preferential treatment because of my disability.”
“Everyone else starts at 7 am but I might as well be honest with you. Nothing gets done between 7 and 10. We just sit around scratching our balls trying to decide what to do first.”

Recenly, Mike Thomas of BlogInterviewer.com emailed me and said that a kind soul had recommended my blog to be interviewed. Whoever you are, thanks very much!!
That site is a unique service that helps blogs get promoted through link-love and ratings. What’s good about BlogInterviewer.com, as far as I know, is that it brings out the blogger from behind the blog. In fact, the interview is mostly about the person rather than the blog itself. Since many bloggers do not take the time to write an About page, being interviewed by this service might spur them to do so. Also, readers are given the chance to get to know their favorite blogs’ authors on a bit more personal level.
If you feel like it, vote for my blog interview by clicking on the badge below. You could help me win some moolah, which I intend to donate to charity. You could win too — BlogInterviewer.com gives away prizes to randomly-chosen commenters on my interview.

Jail has been "horrible and really hard" for Paris Hilton, but she's ready to turn the page and begin a new chapter in her life as a changed woman. In an exclusive phone conversation with E!
