      Next Blush Installment: Nars Lovejoy
So to continue my blush installments, I have decided to head this one with a classic. Just don't be scared by the shimmer you see in the pic as I'm also wearing a highlighter over it (NARS Albatross to be exact). In case you didn't know, I'm something of a highlighter-addict.Lovejoy on its own, without the added highlighter, is a very versatile rosey bronze colour with slight golden shimmer. Slight shimmer mind you that is very natural looking when worn. The colour itself veers a bit more towards a brown tinted bronze on my skin and the rose undertones help the colour from not making me look like I was dipped in some liquid metal. The blush is a great neutral that has great pigmentation and stays pretty much all day. It is also a very versatile shade that I keep reaching for when I do a various number of looks. On my skin I found that I didn't need to use a special brush for application and a regular blush brush would do. If you're fairer and want a sheerer application, then I thi

Here I am again! Ok so the alcohol drops have been put into my ear and of course that made it even more blocked up than it was to begin with (which was pretty blocked). For my next installment of blush, I would like to introduce one of my favourite blushes. It scares everyone in the pan, but I always seem to get compliments ranging from 'you look so awake and fresh' to 'you look so soft and girly.' MAC Dollymix always seems to jolt up my eyes and make my face look alive.Do not be scared of the way the blush looks in the pan. It looks like a screaming blue-toned bright pink that has a slight shimmer. When worn, the shimmer is very subtle and the colour of the blush itself is very sheer. For some of my NARS blushes, I dare not use a normal blush brush. However, Dollymix goes on sheerly so I don't need to worry about bringing out the stipling or fan brush.I love using this blush to give me a fresh and girly look. It's also great for that 'just came back from making snow angels outside' kind of glow. The good thing about it is that you don't have to be overly frightened that you will overdo it on the first go. Second Powder Blush Installment: NARS Taj Mahal, Scary in the Pan, Perfect on the Cheek
I have a thing for pigmented blushes because they suit such a wide variety of skintones, last forever, and really show up on my skintone. There are two NARS gems that I think feel make me glow and they are Exhibit A and Taj Mahal. This is a review of the latter.Taj Mahal is a bright burnt pumpkin shade with gold shimmer. And with that description alone I'm sure you're ready to write me off as the sister of the with in Hansel and Gretel who regularly bullies little kids into giving her their candy (the last part might actually be true, but I'm not sure I was to own up to it yet). However, let me assure you that this blush just needs to be applied sheerly and it gives the most amazing warm glow on my deep olive skin. The shimmer in this blush is not overwhelming and when worn, it's very subtle. The blush itself glides on flawlessly and a little goes a very, very, very long way. It also lasts through an entire day without budging so that is always a plus. The trick with this blush is t

First Installment of Powder Blush Reviews: MAC Formal
I decided to do the powder brush reviews one by one as putting blush, wiping it off, and applying it again made my face irritated and (three guesses what happened next) red. So here comes my powder blush rave.Format is a pigmented deep coppery-cocoa blush with subtle shimmer. Apart from my much beloved (beloved, fanatic obsession, I can't really tell the difference here) NARS blushes, this blush is a recurring favourite of mine. It's one of those blushes you love, use, and forget about. Then, you reach for it again and wonder why on earth you don't wear it more often. The blush itself glides on beautifully smooth and is very pigmented, so a light application is very important. I don't like high shimmer on my blushes, but the shimmer here is so subtle and I like having to skip adding a highlighter. The colour I end up with on my cheeks is a warm, tanned, and a bit windblown effect. It's a very versatile colour that I use year round. I like it for the colder as well as the winter mon

      Owner Financing Installment Sale
There are many benefits for doing an owner-carry installment sale as opposed to conventional financing for both the buyer and seller. Sometimes the advantages inure to the benefit of one or the other, but in most cases the transaction is “Win/Win” for both parties. Most sellers of real property insist on the highest price and all cash. Sellers want a fast closing with little hassle. Sellers also want to pay as little taxes as possible on the gains incurred. In many cases, the seller can have most of his needs satisfied by an installment sale rather than a traditional cash sale. Let’s look at these needs one by one.1. Highest Price. There is no doubt that a seller can insist on and receive the highest price when offering flexible owner-finance terms. In many cases, the seller can receive more than the fair market value of the property by offering these “soft” terms. People are always willing to pay a premium for non-qualifying financing.2. Cash. The Third Installment in Paso Robles
Final installment in the first excursion to Paso Robles: Saturday morning of the trip found us first at Turley, which opens at 9 am, for those eager to get a super-early start. (Their website doesn’t have any information, so I won’t bother with a link.) It’s actually located in Templeton on Vineyard Drive. Now, I had heard mixed reviews about the Turley experience, but I wanted to see for myself. First off, this is a prime example of the overlapping webs in the wine world which fascinate me. In this case, brother and sister all over the map. Also, Turley is one of the big names in Zin, so it was good research—with my working at one of the other big names in Zin… As for the wine: I found the first three from Dry Creek, Napa, and Contra Costa to be very mild. Portraits Progress Final Installment
Now I am going to start on the detail of the shirt. I had mentioned before that by doing the initial drawing in deep red I would be able to just about see it underneath the first few layers of paint so following these guide lines I begin to draw the stripes in varying shades of ultramarine and crimson and leaving it out where the light is very strong.Remembering, again, to try to see what is happening with the effects of the light. Here is a detail to show that the lines are by no means uniform or very neat After I have drawn the lines with paint I then go back and look at the colours of the squares. Some of them appear to come forward and so these ones I paint individually. There is a certain magic about layers of paint, what is underneath is so important and the painting seems to build its self rather like a very flat sculpture! The toaster wouldn't be popping up any time soon, because it wasn't turned on, but the toaster could potentially pop up - if it was turned on. And this reminded her of other appliances, it reminded her of the oven and its oven-timer in particular. She stopped looking at the cluster of gold sparkles and reached over with her left hand to set the oven timer to be set for an extra seven minutes. The two boneless top loin steaks, and the vegetables, were already done. The two steaks were resting in their steel-lined cozy pan upon the stovetop. My steak was sprinkled with a peculiar blend of crushed mustard seed, cut-up sage leaf, and thyme.
