As tired as I was and as much as I tried, I could not sleep last night. Instead I laid there with nothing more than darkness and my thoughts to kill the time. I don't know why the insomnia reoccurs once or twice a month. It just does. And it doesn't matter how tired I am. It will happen anyways. So now I find myself at work, with dreary eyes and a splitting headache. Today will not be a good day. But at least I'm off for the next five days.Perhaps it was coincidence or we've got some strange symbiotic thing going like Elliot and E.T., but Zane did not have a good night either. He tossed and turned and woke up crying several times in the night. It didn't really bother me much, of course, because I was already awake. Some milk at around 2:30 a.m. did help him though. Enrique Iglesias - Insomniac [Retail]Enrique has been around for quite some time now, this will his about his 8th album. He's had success here and there, and it looks like he's made a good return. His current single "Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song)" is on it's way up the charts, and getting good airplay. As for the album I'm gonna have to give it to him, he really gave it his all. Enrique Iglesias se encuentra estos días en España para promocionar el octavo disco de su carrera, “Insomniac“, un nuevo trabajo que se pondrá a la venta en junio con la mayoría de sus temas en inglés y que para el cantante ha sido “el más difícil de su carrera”.
Luego casi después de una año exactamente de que publicara su álbum “7″, Enrique Iglesias se volvió a encerrar en el estudio para trabajar en un álbum complejo que le ha supuesto casi tres años de trabajo.
El resultado de este trabajo es su nuevo disco titulado “Insomniac”, que, según aseguró Enrique Iglesias en declaraciones a Efe, puede que no sea “de mayor calidad, pero sí más diverso y más completo musicalmente”, ya que en este tiempo el cantante ha compuesto casi 50 temas.
