Who would have thought that such a small little boo boo on my pinky finger would cause such trouble? This little gouge is from an exposed wood beam in the addition wall. (We didn't put up sheet rock on the exterior inner walls, only plywood, and the inner walls we left uninsulated so the studs are exposed.)I was cleaning the boys' room when this happened and I guess I didn't clean and cover it quick enough. I finally did when I discovered redness around the wound growing along with pain.Seven to ten days later, no topical antibiotics had worked including Neosporin, erythromycin, and mupiricin.
