      Crisis on the Homefront
First of all, I want to apologize to everyone for not blogging the last couple of days. A crisis had erupted at work and we’re all scrambling to keep the company from collapsing. Some of you know that I work for a real estate development firm. Unlike public giants such as KB Homes or Lennar, my company [...]

Lindenstrauss report now official: homefront was neglected during war
State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss' much awaited report on the handling of the second Lebanon war has been released today. Ehud Olmert and his aides even went so far as to desperately and pathetically criticize it even before its release, but now, here it is, and it's scathing indeed:"The management of the home front during the war was severely defective [and] the country's leaders invested most of their efforts in the fighting in Lebanon but neglected the home front that was under severe attack since the first day of the war," according to a report released Wednesday by State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss on the preparations and handling of the home front ahead of and during the Second Lebanon War.This poor management, said the report, left an "empty gap" in the home front and left the residents "exposed, vulnerable and without protection" in the most difficult of periods. The report added that in particular, the disabled, sick and those with deficiencies were neglected since t

      The Homefront
D and I didn't get back from NY until 11 last night, so him and I both were looking like creatures from the undead this morning. We had a better time than expected, but we're glad to be back. It is always nice to go home though. On the way up there, we narrowly avoided getting run off the road by a drunk driver. We were in Delaware on 95-N, when some drunk fool came over into our lane without looking to see if there were cars over there. This isn't the first time he's been home home with me, but we still laughed about the two of us sleeping in my childhood bedroom. The next morning, he came with me while I got my hair re-braided. He made

      More stuffs from the homefront
Panda Boy is starting to talk a little more. He said, “Bowl” and “Why”. Probably not a big accomplishment to some, but to me it is. He jumped in my lap last night while I was watching M.A.S.H. dvd’s, kissed me on the cheek, said “Ni Ni (night night)” and fell asleep in my lap. Made me feel all warm and snuggly. LOL. We went to Batsto on saturday to just get out and walk around. And enjoy the day. Big Buff and Panda Boy ran around and played with cars while I pushed the carriage and watched. The little guy really enjoyed himself. And he got some exercise too. I also bought my mom a little gifty for her birthday in the gift shop which was this past friday. We went out together and had dinner at this little… I’d call it a cafe since it was small… but I guess it could be called a resturaunt. Anyway, we went there, had a mexican dinner of nachos and a burrito. Then we went to see Wild Hogs. For those of you that haven’t s
