Homebrew lives on with Wii update Hacked
Earlier this week, Nintendo released firmware version 3.3 for the Wii in the hopes of deterring some of the homebrew work being done for the console. The update nixed the commonly-used "Twilight Hack," which made use of a modified save file to launch homebrew applications. It didn't take long for the community to respond, though, as a fix has been released which counters Nintendo's efforts. The fix

      Wii Homebrew Launcher
Tired of duplicate channels appearing from your Nintendo Wii main menu when you run homebrew? Coder hell_hibou has a remedy with Wii Homebrew Loader. Having the same interface as the Wii main menu, this application loads ELF files (the stuff which homebrew's made of) from the front SD card slot into the Wii.As far as aesthetics go, the Wii Homebrew Loader has a different approach as it allows you to customize the names of each homebrew title. That's some personalized touch there. Since the Wii Homebrew Loader is useless without any homebrew at all, developer hell_hibou gathered some existing Wii homebrews over at the via link. You can download homebrew developer hell_hibou's Wii Homebrew Launcher below. Homebrew Lemmings for your DS
While not nearly as publicly embraced as PSP homebrew, there is a thriving DS and GBA homebrew community out there that is getting some interesting stuff done. I’ll tell you right now that the main reason for this is the semi-expensive, often hard to come buy, flashcard requirement. Honestly, I’m not big on homebrew for either hand held - I have enough commercial games to occupy my time. If you’re a Lemmings fan, and into DS homebrew, you might want to check out the Lemmings Project. They’ve gotten a small working Lemmings demo up and running that includes a level editor.
