So I took the day off from doing dishes yesterday. It wasn't a conscious choice, per se. I'd gone to the library the day before that and was completely wrapped up in a book by one of my favourite authors (Guy Gavriel Kay). It was quite a disturbing sight (and smell) when I walked into the kitchen this morning.With a great deal of reluctance, I tackled the mess. I pulled on my bright yellow gloves, got the hot water running, and used copious amounts of green apple dish soap.There was one moment of hilarity mixed in with the drudgery that I simply had to share. I put the dish I'd used for the cinnamon french toast I made yesterday to soak. Using the apple dish soap. On the cinnamon encrusted bowl.My kitchen? Now smells like apple pie. Yum! Gave me quite a giggle!

There is a post on The Biz of Belly Dance Tribe looking for "10 black female dancers" for a Bollywood shoot in India. I had to ask what did the poster mean by "black"?lol. I am not trying to beat this to death, but I am curious to know what does that mean? Is it someone with dark skin color? (She did say, "black".) Is it the hair? How would one know if she fit what the gig was looking for?I think it would be neat to go to India to do some Bollywood work, but I have no idea how to do Indian fusion and I doubt I would meet the physical criteria anyway.
