Christmas morning I decided to quickly check out my regular blogs and wish a Merry Christmas to those that had posted Christmas greetings. Gillian Gibbons, who is a British teacher, was charged by Sudan on Wednesday for showing religious hatred towards Islam’s prophet, Muhammad. The reason is because Gibbons let her students name a teddy bear Muhammad, according to the country’s news agency.
Prosecutor General Salah Addin Abuzeit said that this case will be sent to the court on Thursday. Gibbons, who is 54-years-old, teaches students who are around the age of 7. As of now there have been no comments from Gibbons herself on the situation.
I personally do not see how this can be seen as “religious hatred,” and I am sure that the teacher did not mean it in a disrespectful manner. What has this world come to when we can be arrested because of a name given to a teddy bear by a bunch of 7-year-olds.
My personal review:As a fan of RPG games, I can only recommend this average game which is set in a fictional but surreal world. You are given the choice to represent evil or holy and at the same time, you can really play a huge role in the story. The game is a bit repetitive and the graphics aren't the best although I still recommend it for the fans of the genre. Just play this game for pleasure and leave the repetition to your social life! I was itching to write a post about Snap Preview Anywhere from Snap.com last night, but I was jaded tired and Pusle put on a good film so I just crashed out on the couch promising myself that I would write it this morning. Alas, or thankfully, Ben Yoskovitz wrote a post while I was snoozing which pretty much wraps up how I feel about this annoying plugin.
