She needed to have a big day in order to remain somewhat viable, and the had a huge day (well... kind of; I will get to that in a moment). She one three of the four states from yesterday, and laid the foundation of a narrative her spin that because she won the "big" states, the Super Delegates should move in her direction. This possibly is a valid narrative, at least in the possibility that it could work to convince the super delegates. Doctors measured a deadly blood alcohol level: 1170mg per 100 ml blood. This was 22 times the amount allowed to drive a motorvehicle and twice the amount usually considered lethal. According to the doctors the reason for this insane level of intoxication was the fact that the guy finished five bottles of vodka in record time. The drunk was unconscious for two consecutive days. "When he opened his eyes, he had a bit of a headache", one of the doctors told the press.

      Thanksgiving Hangover...
Yes, still....a week later! My body is feeling the effects of my 4 day weekend of complete decadence. I went for a run last night and thought I was gonna DIE. lol I haven't felt like THAT in a while! But then, it all boils down to what I put in my body....Your food is your fuel, remember? Apparently the body doesn't run quite as well on half a pan of baked macaroni and cheese, ham, dressing and heaping plates of rice, beans and potato salad. Hmph! Who knew? lol. I did, of course, but I still had my fun. Tonight I will take another run, and hopefully this one will be better than the last. Also, sometimes your body just has a bad exercise day. I was rocking some fierce aerobics on Tuesday, and was full of energy. After teaching two classes, I was still bouncing. But the next day....not so much!I'm looking forward to the challenge of an extra mile this evening. Well, not really. lol.

How bad is the NFC? Being one game over .500 has you in the playoffs. The 0-4 starting Saints are still in it folks as they trail just the Eagles and Lions for the #6 seed. They smacked the hell out of their division rival Panthers. Week 13 is going to be a major week as far as shaping the playoff hunt in the NFC as six teams sit at 5-6, a game behind those Lions. The Bears Adrian Peterson is going to be getting the rock now that Cedric Benson is out for the season. I said before the season started that Peterson would be a fantasy sleeper stud if anything happened to Benson….we will see. Picture this…Adrian Peterson+the Vikings D+QB play. If they ever get all three of those together they could be dangerous. They were yesterday with Chester Taylor filling in the Peterson part of the equation. (more…)

The symptoms include headaches, dizziness, and sometimes nausea. Yuck! Luckily there are some treatments that can effectively minimize the effects of a hangover. Understandably though, you may be starting to think about the upcoming holiday season, and how easy it is to pack on a few pounds at this time of year.Did you know that keeping a record of everything you eat (called a food record or food journal) is one of the most effective things you can do to keep from overindulging? That's right. Simply being aware of what you are eating, keeping track of it helps curb the overeating. There is a very easy, convenient way to keep a food journal, too, by using your cell phone camera or digital camera. Simply "click" on what you eat, and send the picture to your very own webpage, which I can then peek at and offer some helpful suggestions to optimize what you're eating. Its really a fun tool. Monday AM Hangover/Week Seven
So I got to watch the last two minutes of the Bears-Eagles game. What an amazing drive. Brian Griese looks like he should be a starting NFL QB after this game. Not only did he put together a game winning drive in the final two minutes, he didn’t turn the ball over and nine guys got catches. Lesson to the Eagles…you have to play 60 minutes of football. When was the last time the Rams were this bad? 0-7 start for the first time ever…and there has been some pretty bad Rams teams over the years. The Saints put together another week of looking like the 2006 Saints, putting them two games back in the division believe it or not. Joey Harrington just won’t go away will he? He got in the game by default after Leftwich went down. Almost got a TD that could have won the game had Roddy White not stepped out of bounds. The Patriots are pretty good. Let’s hear it for the Cowboys rush D. We always hear about Romo and Owens. This rush defense ha

I’m a big fan of the new NFL.com Game Center. I just wonder how long before they try to charge for it. Up to this point the Saints had looked like they were in the Way Back Machine to 2004. Sunday they finally found the knob to take them to 2006 as they finally turned in a performance that looked like the team that came a game short of the Super Bowl. Reggie Bush will give them something to talk about this week as he played like a feature back. Despite scoring 27 against the Patriots, the Cowboys looked like that kid that is really good playing in the empty lot against his friends but is pretty average when strapping on the pads and going out for the high school team. The Pats are just bullies. Don’t fret Cowboy fans, you will still rule the empty lot (NFC). LT turned in his first real LT like performance of the year with over 200 total yards and 4 TD’s. Rate cut can cure our hangover from credit binge
By CHRIS LESTERThe Kansas City StarThe Federal Reserve’s key policymaking committee gathers today with more eyes trained on it than in years. The financial markets already have priced in at least a quarter-point cut in the federal funds target rate, which would reduce it to 5 percent. But some folks are already calling for a larger cut, to 4.75 percent, in hopes of heading off a recession caused by problems in the housing and credit markets.A cut certainly would be notable news. The Fed hasn’t cut its target short-term rate since June 2003, when it was reduced to a paltry 1 percent — effectively setting off a credit binge. At the time, the Alan Greenspan-led Fed said the cuts were aimed at heading off fears of deflation and supporting the economy as it recovered from the last recession.Lenders and borrowers enthusiastically tapped into the virtually free money to make a whole lot of what, in retrospect, have become shaky loans, particularly in the subprime mortgage industry. The chea

Wanna Quit Smoking?? Or have a Hangover?? Try 2 Bananas a Day
The yellow-skinned fruit that can easily make you "slip" is perhaps the most under-valued of all fruits. We all know it can help in weight control, is rich in potassium and is delicious to eat. But did you know that it can help you quit smoking too?? Here's a brief write-up on the less-known medicinal properties of this fruit which I'm sure would help you some way in your life.Smoking: Bananas can help people trying to give up smoking, as the high levels of Vitamin C, A1, B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal. Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalise the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water-balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be re-balanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack. Recap Box Score Win Probability Added Let me start off by saying, we got hosed twice. I’m not usually one to complain about umpires because honestly it’s an exercise in futility. Plop Plop Fizz Fizz - All the Symptoms of a Hangover - Mountains of Homework
A portion of Friday and the bulk of yesterday was spent housecleaning.  My father had made plans for a number of family members to go out for his birthday (instead of his accepting 3 seperate dinner invites) and wanted the house clean so that people could come over before and after the restaurant.  As I am a buzy girl with work and school, and as my hubby (while home full time) is a chronic pain patient, and as my father is working outside of the home as well  ….. very little gets done beyond basic surface cleaning.  To get the house ready for actual company meant spot-treating the carpet, scrubbing toilets, dusting, mopping, and so on. Dinner out was very nice.  We went to a local Italian restaurant that has gained our loyalty with wonderful food and friendly staff.  We have eaten there for special occassions, holidays and “just because” and have never … ever …. had a meal that wasn’t excellent.  However, their prices (while fair) are not

Alcohol and drug abuse leaves a life insurance hangover!!
Whether it is youthful indiscretion or taking the wrong route in dealing with with real life grown up issues, alcohol and drug abuse are no stranger to anyone. If we haven’t been there ourselves, we certainly know of someone who has. Some never get past it. Either they avoid treatment or go from program to program never quite finding the answer. Because of all the the health and lifestyle repercussions of substance abuse, life insurance companies take a very serious look at the issues of drug treatment and alcohol treatment. Even the most agressive companies want to see at least 5 years after treatment before they will offer even standard rates. Most want to see 10 years post treatment before they will offer preferred rates. Coverage can be obtained in less time than that, but it is likely to come in the form of a rated policy. Even then, time is not the only factor. Insurance companies want to see that you are part of a support group such as NA and AA. They know the chance of se

What to do when hangover is unavoidable?
Ok so hangovers are avoidable because you can always not drink but if you have to you need to minimize the damage. The previous post told you about the negatives of consuming alchool when mixed with bodybuilding. We need to be honest! Most of the visitors that will get to this site will be young and I am young and this means we all enjoy a drink or two once in a while. We do go to parties thinking about getting as much alcohool in as possible although we never admit this. With this in mind let us try and think about what to do when such a thing is sure to happen.First of all think about dehidration. At least 2 litres of water need to wait for you by your bed for when you get back home. This simple task of leaving water there and driking it when you get home will aid your muscle a great deal by hydrating them and will prevent hangover. If you end up with a girl in the room (or man depending on your sex) be sure to make her go away as fast as possible because you will never get your budd
