Couldn't find another way on this website to provide feedback so
here it goes -- an article on frying pets is irresponsible and
ridiculous. There are kids out there (or stupid adults) who will go
out and fry other pets. Be careful what you promote because it
isn't good news - in fact, it isn't news.
Cuy: An Acquired TasteJust when you are trying to decide whether to vacation in Waikiki or Peru, the news comes in that the national dish of Peru is the Guinea Pig, or cuy in Peruvian. This tie-breaker is a necessary bit of info for the intrepid traveler, as the Peruvians actually expect you to eat these cute, over-sized rats."Eat me? You kidding? I'm bony--and cute. Very cute! Look in My eyes! Cu
Vitamin C is not naturally produced in guinea pigs, thus they should to be given it day after day to guarantee first-class health. The lack of vitamin C causes scurvy. Every guinea pig has to be given 10mgs of vitamin C on a daily basis to 1kg body weight. A vitamin C supplement can be found in pet stores and supermarkets that sell food. A guinea pig cannot only on this source of supplement. Vitamin C can also be added to 1qt of water, freshly made every 12 or so hours, alternatively a handful of kale or cabbage can be given, even a quarter orange.Oxbow cavy cuisine, which is a timothy hay-layered pellet food, a guinea pig in adult stage will enjoy this food and it will promote good health. Should your guinea pig be a little under 10 months old, the recommended diet for this age group will
Currently, a BK (below knee) amputee's normal method of wearing a prosthetic leg involves donning (putting on) a liner of some type and then their socket which has a foot at the end of it. This means it takes a little while each morning before getting out of bed or doing anything, unless you hop around on your good leg (which is bad for your sound leg). There have been advancements in the dental world that has pioneered the implantation of 'studs' into the boney parts of the jaw for attaching dentures for extended wearing. This technology has progressed to where some orthopedic surgeons believe it is possible to do the same thing with lower limb prosthetics.A team in Europe has experimented with attaching a prosthesis directly into the femur (thigh) bone, which allows the skin to 'grow ar
It happened innocently enough I suppose. My wife and three year old daughter were stopping by Pet Smart to pick up some dog food. It turns out they were having a sale on Guinea Pigs, and as luck would have it my daughter just loooves guinea pigs. She took this opportunity to hold them and pet them and become hopelessly attached to them. My wife managed to leave the store without a terribly upset kid by saying those special words, “maybe Santa will bring you one.”
From the day they left the pet store to today each time the girl has been asked what she wants for Christmas the answer is a guinea pig. It was very clear that I was in real trouble and needed some way out of this without being the bad guy. You see, I have no desire whatsoever to have a guinea pig in the house. They are a rodent like any other as far as I’m concerned.
The days went by and I don’t think one passed without someone mentioning that Santa may bring the guinea pig on Christmas to this devili
Guinea pig's also known as Cavies are one of the gentlest, loving, clean and adorable pets you can care for. These timid creatures have grown in popularity over the last few years but not as much is known about pet guinea pig care as cats or dogs or fish which are more prominent. Luckily guinea pigs are not too difficult to look after, they are clean, do not smell like mice and do not bite like ferrets. Here are a few simple tips to care for your guinea pig! Housing It is best to keep your guinea pig in a decent size cage, four to six square feet of floor space for each guinea pig is good but slightly smaller will suffice. Make sure the floor is solid not wire cage like the walls however as this can hurt their feet, also guinea pigs cannot jump or climb very well also so you do not need a roof to their enclosure as long as it is about 18 inches high. Make sure your enclosure also has a place for your pet to hide in if it wants; in the wild it was defenseless against predators so when
I just watched the video of our online session with Elisabeth Hendrickson. Though we had at the begin technical problems, this did not stop us: it was fun, we laughed a lot (to answer the question above). We were 6 persons and I guess this is what made the online virtual training experiment so cosy.
The session was presented with an exercise, which certainly everybody knows and which transmits the message of the training easy. Curious ? Well more info here.
And thanks to Merlyn Albery-Speyer, Mark Anderson and Martin Clarke I know now more about Erlang (for German readers: it is not related to the German town Erlangen :-)), stapler testing and stolen blog posts. And I am sure Pradeep Soundararajan you know already from my other posts.

Time to provide some notes on taking care of guinea pigs. Here is a list of things on providing care such as questions on how to handle guinea pigs and asking yourself if you are the right person to own one. Guinea pigs are social animals and will need daily interaction. That I’m trying spend half an hour with Latte everyday.
If you have the space, let the cavy run around the house with some supervision. Electric cables and other things that can be nibbled upon must be kept away from the floors. You don’t want to harm them in any way.
Guinea pigs don’t smell (generally) unless you don’t clean the cage regularly. I’ve to clean the cage soon. I don’t want any smell other than the hay I’m giving daily. Here are the steps to clean the cage. The advantage of using grids and coroplasts is that it is easy to clean.
Be aware that some people may have allergies due to the allergen existing in the urine in the bedding. When the guinea pig scurries around
An increasing number of people are unwillingly becoming medical test subjects. These new treatments may be jeopardizing a person’s safety in life or death situations. Federal guidelines now allow emergency workers to experiment on patients receiving emergency care who are unconscious or too injured to consent to these tests. Researchers at the University of Washington have been studying new treatments for patients in need of emergency care. They claim the experimental procedures are potentially safer than existing treatments and protocols. Researchers argue that this research is needed in order to improve medical care. I gave a training session to Jackson in the morning at Marine Parade. When we parted, I went to the hawker centre for lunch.Coincidentally, I shared the table with a young lad, eating the same food. A beggar came by our table and asked for money. The young lad handed over to her some coins, which prompted me to also fork out a coin to her. Then he started a conversation which broke the ice. He's Yi Qing (like he said, One Green in Chinese) and he is currently a regular Police Sergeant stationed at the Airport. He graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a diploma in Chemical Engineering. HE lamented that the job market for Chemical Engineers is too saturated, with limited choices of companies that provide the job opportunity. During his National Service with the Singapore Police Force, he decided to sign on the bond with the Force. He's studying a part-time degree and hopes that the degree would bring him better career prospects, if not a conversion to Police Inspector from his current
Continued from part 1 and 2.So, let’s discuss the clinical trial itselfSince the US drug market is the largest one, big companies put most of their efforts over there. Several months of blockbuster drug sales cover all the enormous expenses from the several or even several tens of projects involving failed drugs. Yet, the United States have one of the toughest process of the drug approvals. No wonder that a development of a blockbuster drug costs almost a billion dollars these days. The Research Ethics in the United States included many milestones, beginning from the establishing of Food and...
What are the Clinical Trials?OK, Everything before was just pre-clinical study. http://symptomat.com/ (http://symptomat.com/)http://feeds.feedburner.com/RdoctorMedicalSyndication (http://feeds.feedburner.com/RdoctorMedicalSyndication)RDoctor (http://technorati.com/tag/health+research)
Well. They probably do not. Unless, you agree yourself. At a point I worked in the pharmaceutical research. While studying medicine and doing medical research, I knew some rough ideas about the drug development process. I knew something about 3 phases of the trials and so on.However, I did not realize how complex the process actually is. There are actually 4 phases of just clinical trials, and several more before that. So if you are interested how they test drugs on you, let's in brief discuss the process.Trackback URL: http://rdoctor.com (http://rdoctor.com/)
